One important thing you missed is that while Roboute desperately wanted to kill his fathers murderers he understood that blind vengeance would only bring more tragedy. He handed the leaders of the riots over to a judicial body to be judged impartially, and they decided on a traditional form of execution. Had they instead opted for exile or another form of punishment Roboute would have abided by it. Roboute has from the very beginning shown that even at his most wrathful he is a capable of keeping a level head. IIRC he has never actually ordered any executions himself (unless you consider what he did to the Word Bearers outside his ship as an execution). He allows the law to find the proper punishment.
The raven stood amidst the graves somber. Yet even still, the comfort that his friends and family were given honor here warmed his shady heart. As shrike and guilliman arrived, guiliman eyed the graves. "I take it this is the 1st time you both have seen this place?" The shadow spoke. "Ive only heard rumors." Shrike spoke truthfully. "I heard in the end of the heresy, the raven guard would personaly lay to rest every soul dead upon isstvann mortal or otherwise, with this graveyard being a place only chapter masters may find due to the nature of such a thing as this." Guiliman eyed the changed raven lord nervously. "...who were these people,if you do not mind my asking?" The creature was surprised. "I never took you for sentiment.", "Ive...had much time to examine myself in the times where i was alone...so?" "...they were friends. Family. Brothers and sisters in arms. The people who raised me. The people who followed me into the void...the people i let die because of my folly." Guiliman put a hand upon the shadows thing that answered for a shoulder. "If they were here, they would be proud at the man you turned out to be. Corvus, you may be a shadow, but you are still human. All of us in our deepest core are. If they were still here, they would rage aganst this madness as do we now. All of us. You. Shrike. The lion. Dante. Men and woman who see the inperium for what it is but we fight on not for a tyrants broken empire, but for the promise humanity will grow beyond us all." The shadows disspated into the feathers of ravens as corvus in his mortal form nodded. "You think so?" "Take it from a man who lost his family to time and ruin. I have lost many brothers, men and family. But if they were here i would know they would want me to live and carry on there legacy. The emporor made us into gods made flesh, myths made real. We are more then this. We are us. We are good people, even if we must walk amidst rampant evil and hypocrisy. That is what makes us the primarchs and adeptus astartes. Not glory, nor bloodletting..." To be continued...
My only complaint is that I don’t think guilliman would think of the emperor as a tyrant. He doesn’t see him as a father, but he still believes in the emperors vision, and in most of his world view. That’s at least the character I got from him.

Something worth noting about the attempted coup on macragge is he didn't go straight to the chopping lock with the conspirators but rather sought advice which led to that since he figured just revenge wasn't punishment
honestly I wish they start at "ground level" with regards to the lore, pick some remote (better-off than the average) world and have it be some "generic local cultist threat", where you follow some local soldiers (who knows almost nothing of the wider Imperium) struggle with but overcome the horrors of 40k, only to be reinforced by and then be conscripted by the inquisition, so that those Soldier can be the "fish-out-of-water" for the casual audience, when the Inquisitor begins sending them out on wilder missions, which require alot more exposition to explain. It would be interesting to see "average mans" react to the differences between Imperial Propaganda and what the Inquisition shows them.
Its worth noting that the reason guilliman was able to survive in space is because the ship he was o n was so big, that as long as the shields were up, it would have a minimal atmosphere. Not simply him being able to survive in the void of space.
You forgot to mention Eurycide she the actual mother of the prime marks, which she has a twisted history with the emperor. But she's the one who threw them into the warp to save them from the emperor's plans that worked out well
They were successfully created. Arguably they were on the side of good (or against Chaos at the very least) in the beginning. Even Angron used to spare his opponents when he had no reason to. The fact that Chaos breaks the minds of people trained to resist it in mere seconds, yet was only able to turn half the primarchs over thousands of years, is pretty impressive.

I’m curious which loyalist primarch from the Horsey Hearsay will appear next to help humanity find and reclaim the Warhammer 40,000.
Oh and it was super cool how Rowboat got over his xenophobia and now has that badass Knife eared Elf girlfriend. I wonder if that one Adepta Custodian can follow Rowboat’s example and can win his Tau girlfriend Moonlight back.
I really loved reading all 4 of the books in this series and I’m definitely looking forward to the next, and final book, that will wrap up all the events nicely with “and everyone lived happily ever after. Especially Erebus. He was the best good guy all along.”
He has a what?
@@avishah1192Yvraine, an Eldar present during his re-awakening. They aren’t actually dating, and honestly barely know each other, but at the same time elf-gf is popular so… yeah.
Honestly I'm hoping the next Primarch will be Jaghatai Khan. So he can be eternally disappointed by the lack of *speed* everyone has
The lion is a bit of an asshole tbh lol, an robute is definitely the far superior primarch to run the imperium.
Ohh, fun stories about Robbie Grillman to listen to while working. Thanks mate!
Yesterday I just assembled the guilliman miniature 😄 appreciate the video
He isn't the primarch they would of asked for, but he's the one we needed!
I'm just glad we got our governor and our protector. Guilliman and El Johnson can save the imperium. Anyone else is just icing on the cake... not that the others wouldn't be highly welcomed lol the khan, the lorgar terrify-er, even the one handed handy man (cause he builds defenses) himself!
The problem with the Khan is he didn't believe the imperium could be changed. He knew what kind of person the emperor was and believed that the Imperium was doomed from the start. He would try to help the people but he wouldn't try to reform the imperium because it's pointless as he can't convince them to change. I mean he wasn't wrong but he could at least try. For that reason he's even more doomer than the crow guy.
You're the only reason I love Mondays
Bobby G, the man
The one that loves that eldar cheks
Love to see it
This was actually really cool. Even thought i dont understand much of 40k.
The only good guy in WarHammer 40k
40k has no good guys, but the closest is Farsight
The raven stood amidst the graves somber. Yet even still, the comfort that his friends and family were given honor here warmed his shady heart. As shrike and guilliman arrived, guiliman eyed the graves.
"I take it this is the 1st time you both have seen this place?" The shadow spoke.
"Ive only heard rumors." Shrike spoke truthfully.
"I heard in the end of the heresy, the raven guard would personaly lay to rest every soul dead upon isstvann mortal or otherwise, with this graveyard being a place only chapter masters may find due to the nature of such a thing as this."
Guiliman eyed the changed raven lord nervously.
"...who were these people,if you do not mind my asking?"
The creature was surprised.
"I never took you for sentiment.",
"Ive...had much time to examine myself in the times where i was alone...so?"
"...they were friends. Family. Brothers and sisters in arms. The people who raised me. The people who followed me into the void...the people i let die because of my folly."
Guiliman put a hand upon the shadows thing that answered for a shoulder.
"If they were here, they would be proud at the man you turned out to be. Corvus, you may be a shadow, but you are still human. All of us in our deepest core are. If they were still here, they would rage aganst this madness as do we now. All of us. You. Shrike. The lion. Dante. Men and woman who see the inperium for what it is but we fight on not for a tyrants broken empire, but for the promise humanity will grow beyond us all."
The shadows disspated into the feathers of ravens as corvus in his mortal form nodded.
"You think so?"
"Take it from a man who lost his family to time and ruin. Not glory, nor bloodletting..."
To be continued...
My only complaint is that I don’t think guilliman would think of the emperor as a tyrant. He doesn’t see him as a father, but he still believes in the emperors vision, and in most of his world view. That’s at least the character I got from him.
@@Dap1ssmonk actually my bet is he would
Despite guiliman doing unsavory stuff for the emporor he always disliked it,but went through with it knowing in the end the inperium will become a utopia over a nightmarish thing of a empire
After waking up and everything thats happened i think gman probably saw that, for all that the emporor has done for guiding humanity and what not,the guy was hella distrustful, only trusting few.
The amount of smurf jokes here turns my outlook on life similar to Guilliman's.
Ahh yes, episode about Robot Girlyman, its about time really
Robotic ghillesuit is such a good primarch. Rodent guillotine has just done so much for the imperium
Thanks for the video!
Between TES & Weshammer we now have a lot of warhammer content to look forward to
Luetin09 is the god emperor of WH40k lore
Why dont you guys watch good content creators. Amber King, Warrior Tier, Baldermort, Sandman of Terra and even Luetin. This is just incredibly dry and vanilla, reading in a bored voice. It's a joke, almost 1 million subs
YES. YES. YES! MOAR 40K CONTENT! Bring on some Dark Angels lore! My boy Zahariel needs some support! I still am holding out that he's either Cypher, or will return to The Lion's side as a loyal son.
Roboute made a history of the Imperium? I bet the inquision hated that.
Something worth noting about the attempted coup on macragge is he didn't go straight to the chopping lock with the conspirators but rather sought advice which led to that since he figured just revenge wasn't punishment
Emperor be praised. Lore has dropped.
I would love it if you covered every single primarh like this
Not ashamed to say I be falling asleep to your content 😅
Plot armor of Roboute Guilliman is thicker than his shoulder pads.
Guiliman after being blown into space: "Oh my, such an inconvenience, well no matter, enemies are here too"
Have they already written about RG reuniting with The Lion? That would be an interesting story.
So who do y'all want to see Henry Cavill play when his wh40k stuff starts to air, and what stories would y'all like to see adapted?
How about a servitor, just his head floating around asking people if they bleed
honestly I wish they start at "ground level" with regards to the lore, pick some remote (better-off than the average) world and have it be some "generic local cultist threat", where you follow some local soldiers (who knows almost nothing of the wider Imperium) struggle with but overcome the horrors of 40k, only to be reinforced by and then be conscripted by the inquisition, so that those Soldier can be the "fish-out-of-water" for the casual audience, when the Inquisitor begins sending them out on wilder missions, which require alot more exposition to explain.
It would be interesting to see "average mans" react to the differences between Imperial Propaganda and what the Inquisition shows them.
@@gawkthimm6030 that's high key an amazing idea and something I wish the halo series had done
I like Gullyman. Usually, being a Mary Sue do-gooder makes characters boring; but we're talking about 40k, so that's what makes him interesting.
When everyone in the universe is edgy, being a boy scout is actually the edgiest thing possible 😂
He has the superpower of super bureucracy
This Dude is clearly based on the Pax Romano ( Ancient Roman) culture. Likely mirroring the great Ceaser himself interested meta reference indeed..
Thank you. For delving into the Warhammer 40,000 Universe.
Robot Girlyman! Let's go!
Robust guilty man

Rowboat gorilla man is literally the glue that is holding the imperium together. And its abt to get some much needed help from Lion el Johnson
The brains and brawn of the imperium.

Who were the unlikely allies that helped Roboute escape the Thousand sons legion in the maelstrom?
The fallen, mainly Cypher.
@@Chadicus-Guardsmanicus thanks!
Its worth noting that the reason guilliman was able to survive in space is because the ship he was o n was so big, that as long as the shields were up, it would have a minimal atmosphere.
Not simply him being able to survive in the void of space.
Yeah that is glossed over by so many even though I'm sure it's mentioned the the book.
Robo girlyman , my favorite primarch by far, him ripping apart word bearers is some of the best 40 k art
"Robout is Horus' antithesis"
*Rogal Dorn seething sounds*
Hands down my favorite!
Oh hell yea! Rowboat girlyman. My friends talk shit about him but won’t even play when I field him.
Can't wait for the interaction between rowmyboatgorillaman and the lion. Gonna be a banger of a book.
wow didn't know you did Warhammer, never been able to enter the series but you explain it so well i somewhat understand
Space Captain America. Gotta love him.
He is space Julius Caesar what's not to like... and the elder thingy just adds up
We need a parody fanfic called "Guilliman's Travels" about RG getting stranded on a deserted planet only populated by tiny orks.
😊😅
Rowboat Girlyman leader of the Ultrasmurfs, probably the best hope for humanity.
You forgot to mention Eurycide she the actual mother of the prime marks, which she has a twisted history with the emperor. But she's the one who threw them into the warp to save them from the emperor's plans that worked out well
Gotta love rowboat gorilla man
Warhammer 40k lore = like from me always❤
"... This primarch project would largely be a success..." Only like 4 are around in"hooman" form now and most of the survivors are evil demon entities
@@Maladjester yeah, no. If your metric is so... Pathetic on how to measure success in "did the thing do one of the set goals" then sure. That's how you measure success. I'd argue if my living super weapons eventually nearly all died out or switched sides, it's a fuckin failure. Which makes the universe more interesting.
Ayy just what i needed after exams, thanks!
"How the hell is he still alive?"
Watsonian answer: The Power of The Emperor!!!
Doylian explanation: plot armor
Can’t wait for the Lion video now that you’re getting back to 40k
...At least his brethren Titus and Malum Caedo have done un-annoying good work for their ilk lately.
Awesome 40k video on R Booty G, can't wait to give this a listen before bed!
A primarch that literally shoulders the entire Imperiam's burdens of stagnation, bureaucracy, and zealotry.
Robot gorillaman is my favorite primarch
"he merely dodged his attacks"
damn someone should tell focus & saber about this amazing godlike ability
streamlined heavy imperial taxation was the main thing that kept both Big Blue and the Imperium alive during those 10.000 years
They don't call him RawBooty for nothing..
The Gigachad MVP of the Imperium of Man.
