Roboute Guilliman (pronounced Ruh-BOOT-ay GIL-li-man), sometimes referred to as the "Avenging Son," "The Victorious," "The Master of Ultramar" and "The Blade of Unity," is the primarch of the Ultramarines Space Marine Legion and its myriad subsequent Successor Chapters. He is the current lord commander of the Imperium and the ruling Imperial Regent.
Held by some as a paragon among the Emperor's sons, Roboute Guilliman was as much a patrician statesman and empire-builder as he was an indefatigable warrior.
A being of preternatural intelligence, cold reason and indomitable will, Guilliman forged his XIIIth Legion into a vast force of conquest and control, a weapon by which he made himself the master of a stellar domain in the Eastern Fringe of the galaxy, the Realm of Ultramar, which during his lifetime spanned five hundred worlds.

Bricky I've seen fandoms ship characters that have never talked, talking is the equivalent of taking clothes off to these people.
I´ve seen discussions online, about some villain, who was literally like "I am your mortal enemy, and I will do everything in my power to destroy and kill you, Protagonist!",
and people were like "... could they be... IN LOVE?!!!"
People will ship characters who have done nothing but share 10 frames of screentime together.
I mean just look at the Overwatch fandom. They've shipped Phara and Mercy just because of how Blizzard showed them making a good duo combo (even if they barely interacted in lore)

yeah, ffs, the nicest and most sane race in 40k is a Caste based, Feudal Expansionary Alien Fleet that uses Mind Control to keep their populous in check for "The Greater Good", an eldar and a human having a friendly relation is almost like two characters having sex in this universe.

He feels like legit the most reasonable of the lot who can actually say "This is for the best" or "I admit it, I was wrong and I will try to fix this thing" Like I love that he doesnt just accept his father as being perfect and that the guy's work cant be improved upon. the reason i ship girlyman with goth eldar chick yvranie is because they are based off of their byzantine counterparts. gulliman is justinian the first, yvranie is based off of jusinian's wife Thededora, Belisarius Cawl is based of the Roman General Belisarius which is kinda a big hint by GW of who our mad techpriests is based of off.
The three would go on to rebuild civilization after the fall of the Roman empire, much like how the primarch plans to rebuild the Imperium of man.
So yeah I ship Gulliman and his hot big titty goth wiafu.
That and she has maintained her loyalty to Gulliman later on she had the chance of keeping some heretically powerful artifact thing a secret something that Eldrad was hoping to do but she out right refused to betray Gulliman.

The reason I ship Guilliman/Yvraine is that they’re two of the only people in 40k who have common sense, and they’re both leaders without peers to talk to about how messed up their lives are. I think they could keep each other sane in this crazy world, and besides, Bobby G deserves some kind of happiness.

I really like Guilliman's return. In an imperium that has strayed so far away from the emperor's vision, it's very good to have someone who was THERE when it first began, who was there when the Emperor of Mankind still lived, and has the authority to unfuck some things. Primaris and the ultramarines may be a bit iffy, but Guilliman is pretty neat.

Actually in the Plague Wars book it's revealed Guilliman can take off the Armor of Fate for extended periods of time now. He basically kept taking it of for as long as he could before being close to death so his body gradually was able to function without it. So big tiddy goth eldar is still on the menu boys.

Okay I read up on Yassilli and Roboute absolutely likes her! It’s adorable! They are even grounded in legitimate chemistry!
Her character is a lot more interesting and more fun than Yvraine as well. Honestly Yvraine is a very boring big deal Eldar and mary sue IMO and people have pointed out she’s almost a Lady Malys clone, when Malys and her dealing with Cegorach is way more interesting. Also Yassilli’s Xenos pet is more unique than Yvraine’s blue space cat too lol.
So the fanboys that are obsessed with the Yvraine ship is just cause her being Eldar makes it somehow “unique” when it isn’t because human protagonist x elf heroine is the most generic fantasy ship ever which is the most boring!
Don’t mind me, it’s just the fandom obsession with the ship is insanely cringe, despite it being a meme, but so many act like it’s legit.

I don’t like the Ynnari faction though, cause it feels like they are trying to homogenize the Eldar (Craftworlders, Dark Eldars, Harlequins, Corsairs too?) when them being separate feels best, cause well not only were they separate to begin with, but I feel like it makes them out to be more unique/distinct so they stand out more separate. At least that’s how I feel over it. I do like the Visarch as well! He deserves more attention (he’s daddy af).
She was fighting Lilith, (the eldar portion of this story happens at the same time as the imperials) The idea is that Ynnead once it consumes all the souls of the Eldar will be strong enough to kill Slannesh. Eldar gods form in the warp like the chaos gods do and for thousands of years the accumulated Eldar souls that weren’t taken by slannesh have been forming a new Godwin the depths of the warp. Eldrad saw this and tried to bring about the birth of ynnead early by using a planet that resonated with the warp and the crystallised bodies of multiple farseers but before the ritual could be complete the deathwatch interrupted the ritual stopping it however the ritual was partially successful as Ynnead stirred in the warp gaining a level of consciousness this released a massive wave of death energy that surged out across the galaxy. Yvraine died just as this energy hit the arena and Ynnead saw that she had lead a life as close to the pre fall eldar and thus revived her making her his emissary. When this happened the death energy sort of exploded and killed all the nulls that keep Khaines gate a breach into the warp in the webway closed allowing for demons to invade pandemonium ensues and yvraine escapes she sees that if chaos win this new war then the eldar are doomed anyway that’s why she agrees to revive Guilliman to lead humanity so the eldar can work without much interference from chaos as they would be so focused on killing Guilliman.
The new plan was to gather the 5 crone swords ancient weapons of eldar legend, the legend states that Moria heg the old crone asked khaine to cut off her fingers so she could drink her own blood and thus gain greater wisdom. The finger bones where handed to Vaal who forged them into swords.
The idea being if all the swords are brought together there power can replace the need for Ynnead to consume all the eldar souls
There is a theory that the laughing god has been planning for Ynneads awakening and his final trick is to trick slannesh in aiding in the rebirth of the eldar. The theory being he will trick slannesh into giving Ynnead all the eldar souls she has consumed making him strong enough to kill her.
There is another theory that both Ynnead and Isha (eldar goddess of life) are needed to revive the emperor

Comparing primarchs is like comparing nukes.
Some are bigger and boomier but they are all still fricking nukes!
And by terms of power, Guilliman is one of the most powerful. His actions and skills impact the Imperium.
Most other primarchs while stronger by far on a personal level in terms of combat prowess, have nowhere near the power and influence he has.
Most of them are a joke by comparison.

About the “Guilliman can’t take his armor off” thing, ACTUALLY (XD) he WAS taking it off in the following books, he was seen without the armor, so it’s not that clear. Most of the fandom now thinks that maybe he couldn’t take it off like right after the resurrection, but recovered enough with time to be able to survive without it.
It's covered in the Dawn of Fire books. He's always wearing it, but he has fitted holoprojectors to it so he can make it look like he's not to put others at ease
