General Manager YongYi Wang, open the letter from t****v@mail.ru and return my money to me. What happened there, I don't know, but you have completely lost my trust in you, you do not answer my letters, you stole my money and are trying to hide it. You have lost access to orders, I sent them to you by mail. Fedex numbers are fake.

When will I get my refund for an order that seems like it is never coming?

Moments ago I wrote directly to Tevo/Homers CEO, Tan Qianmin (谭乾敏 who goes by the name Chris) regarding an employee who goes by the name Leo.
Leo accepted payment 5 days in advance for an LM printer that was supposedly going to ship Feb 20th. Not only did it not ship but he has offered nothing but excuses for the past week. Every lie imaginable. Rather than just provide an honest answer about a timeframe, and tell me that his original ship date was pure bullshit, he doubles down with more lies. I've now requested either proof of shipment tomorrow or a full refund.
Unlike their typical Western customers I'm well connected in China. Should they choose to ignore my request I'll have an attorney in their province contact them. I'll return here and let you know how that goes. At the moment I would 1000% not recommend purchasing from Tevo/Homers until they get their shit together.

@@brandoneich2412 Hey Brandon, Joe here (diff biz acct). The short version: go with a reputable company even if it costs more initially. The hassle isn't worth it. I maintain what I originally wrote. I would 1000% not recommend purchasing from Tevo/Homers until he gets his shit together. Here's a longer version if you want to understand how it played out:
First, Leo and Chris are two of Tan's aliases. So anyone using the chat app on the Homers website is very likely talking to the same guy to whom Homers is registered. And he uses a similar account on WeChat. He was never unfriendly, but his conduct was unprofessional.
A red flag to someone with my experience should have been his $120 too-good-to-be-true "expedited shipping" offered on his Homers website. You aren't going to ship something of that size and weight by air for $120. That's not going to happen even in a great economy. $400-600 sure, but not $120. I let my interest in trying the printer override my judgment. He knew he couldn't ship it for that amount....it was one of his many excuses for why it hadn't shipped....because the actual shipping costs were much higher than his unrealistic expedited fee.
He gave me a runaround for several weeks. Every excuse imaginable. If I had to guess, based on his conduct and the information we later uncovered, he was cash poor and running somewhat of a Ponzi scheme. Using new sales revenue to ship long overdue orders from previous sales. And just stringing customers along with excuses while waiting for new sales to come in to cover costs. Asking for a refund is a joke. Your money is likely spent shortly after it is received. This is one of those times I should have simply put the charge on a card. At least then I could have more easily reversed the charge and let them deal with him.
As promised, I hired a reputable biz law firm in Shenzhen down the road from his main "office" address to pursue his ass. Their English name translation is Guangdong Zhuo Jian Law firm. It irritated the sht out of me to pay attorneys to pursue him, but there was no way I was going to let him walk and I told him as much.
First, they looked into business records.
Homers is the latest incarnation of Tevo. You might recall Tevo began getting bad press several years back. Tan was featured in a 3D industry article about unethical behavior....giving free sht to reviewers in hopes that they'd publish glowing reviews. Turns out back home he was up to other shenanigans including running up several hundred thousand dollars in unpaid debts, and getting sued by former employees for a considerable amount of unpaid wages.
That's around the time when Tevo ceased to exist as an entity (except online where he maintains the old Tevo website), and Homers appeared a short time later with the same registrants. A half-ass attempt to shed the Tevo brand baggage and swindle a whole new group of unsuspecting people.
I had the attorneys send a demand letter to him (for a refund or fulfillment of his obligation to ship). I also had them report his business (Homers) to China's Market Supervision Authority which oversees exactly this sort of BS. That authority doesn't provide updates so there's no way for us to know the results.
Of course Tan suddenly resurfaced after receiving the letter. He had been MIA ignoring my WeChat requests for a refund. I had long figured out that it would be virtually impossible to get him to refund the full amount. So he and I agreed that he would throw in a couple extra rolls of PET-G, refund the "expedited shipping" $120, and ship the printer domestically at his expense to one of my other manufacturing contacts. And they would ship it to me. Finally, finally after a couple months of dealing with his BS he shipped the printer and 4 rolls to my contact in China and refunded $120. Though he also managed to not ship the grey PET-G we agreed upon. Shocking, right? He just shipped whatever colors of PLA he felt like shipping.
When all was said and done this was a $2k bitter lesson learned for a

What was that! No description, only 6 sec long, looks more like an accidental upload. I love my original Tornado, works great with no modifications; let me have a real review and I might consider a new one, especially with a laser head option.

Homers 3D, y’all are either selling junk that doesn’t even work, I bought a Tevo Little Monster and the movement of the axis just go randomly when calibrating, your support team is absolutely shit. Y’all don’t even respond. So I wanna know something, are y’all scamming people on machines that don’t even work. If you put in all the time to g we it shipped from here and their and it doesn’t even work, you should feel ashamed honestly.
