I always enjoy your reviews. Your persistence in remedying the shipping unit is commendable, and explaining why you needed to do them, particularly the cooling fan duct mod, was informative. I also appreciate your covering the process to install the wifi printing plugin for Cura and how to set that up. I'm sure many other people will find your clear steps easy to follow if they want to add the same option for their printers. Keep up the great work!
I think you're a wonderful presenter. I know for a fact that you're super smart when it comes to 3D printing. A light shinning on your face from above, approximately 6 to 8 feet away, and to one side, and 4 to 6 feet above your face would be worth exploring to get rid of any unintended shadowing on your features.
Aurora Tech: This review is clearly one of your best ever. This comment is not because I want a dual headed machine but because you highlight the steep learning curve a new user would face immediately upon unpackaging this device. Sadly, I am aware of how difficult it is to "just get printing"; this is likely why I have commented as I have. Very importantly, you highlight the smoke issue with laser cutting.
You've always been thorough but now you're going over and beyond, troubleshooting and reengineering parts. I look forward to the future of Aurora Tech when industrial printers start showing up at your warehouses for review by your engineer team.
Great video as always 👍 Wow, what a cleanup after a bad design! Not a printdesign I would recoment. Thanks for sharing your expirences with All of us 👍😃
Wow, you always outdo yourself! You have the ability to give excellent reviews in a way that's straight to the point but covering all angles, and you explain everything, even complicated stuff, in such a simple way. It's awesome that you even went through the hassle of designing parts to fix issues, amazing.
Just got this printer on sale and after putting it together I saw the fan duct and the spool holder were both crap and needed to be changed. Thankyou for files.
Nice job! You are really persistent in fixing their design deficiencies. It seems a shame that they didn't notice the part cooling problem before releasing this printer. That's a critical issue.
It is concerning to see that manufacturers are still adhering to the "That will do" mentality regarding part cooling, this is partly down to the fact that the community will solve these issues for them.but the rinse and repeat attitude shows no sign of change in the budget market.
excellent review, but there are a few issues I saw on a review of their Tarantula model that I don't see fixed here. most scary is the AC heat bed, there was no heat breaker, and the relay is a normally-on, so if it fails, nothing can cut the power to the heat bed and that's a big no-no in my book. as for the connector on the tool slide, it just looks like trouble waiting to happen as well. I find this model all over Ali Express at $250-300 with a 2W laser, but I'm not sure I want to start hacking solutions for the fire risks on my own, I think I'll keep shopping around.
No 1 reason to have a 3D printer, to improve your 3D printer:D The ports (usb/sd) are on top, they will collect a lot of dust and particles that way, not a good idea. Can you show us how you designed the mentioned parts?
It looks interesting, nice review. I think I would pass. My old Ender 3 has served me well. Just bought an Ender 3 S1 Pro so hope to get this going and working well. Have you tried the Creality Laser Module. Curious how it compares although the thought of swapping all the cables and such is not appealing. Thanks for all the great tips on your channel.
If that’s a 1.6W super weak laser module, you end up won’t use it at all. I would suggest at least get a 5W module or get a simple 5W desktop engraver for around $250.
I am afraid not, I don't like low-power laser modules, that's a 1.6W and you can't cut any wood, mainly for light engraving and thin cardboard cutting. I would recommend at least using a 5W module.
Did you get sent the FLSUN V400? I would to see you review it I bought one and it's my first ever printer I'm very excited and would love to see your thoughts
@@AuroraTech I'll already have mine by then but I'll still watch your video hopefully your thoughts are good or I made a bad choice for a first ever 3d printer haha
I agree to ur conclusion. Is it an FDM printer or a Laser ( CNC on some others ) If the Firmware is unable to be used by Lightburn e.g. it is crap. Only my opinion.
This printer requires more work to sort the printing and laser problems. The laser cutter could cause a fire as It has no fire protection and smoke would fill a room very quickly. The laser is really only a gimmick which could cause lots of damage. I do not believe this printer is good value for the money. The safer option would be to buy a separate laser cutter as noted and the printer would need the problems fixed fixed before purchase. Rating out of 1-10 (4)

Just wanted to say great reviews. 👍 nothing to add I just know comment interaction helps with algorithm recognition.

as always a complete and very clear review 👍👍👍

@@AuroraTech Yeah, I didn't realize it was that low. 1.6W is too weak. It makes more sense to have a dedicated engraver.
Thanks for the detailed review. Any chance you will be reviewing the laser module that Creality sells for the Ender 3 S1 Pro?

@@AuroraTech I've never done any work with laser modules, thank you for the response explaining the distinction.
Do you have plans on reviewing the v400 by flsun?
👍🏻👍🏻
👍🖒👍 @Aurora

which software do you use for laser cutting? Could you give an introduction to this?

hello Aurora just bought a new 3d printer and i was wondering do 3d printers come lubricated ? and , how often should i lubricate z lead screws ?
Why do you recommend buying a laser printer separately?
Wich program did you use for the laser and wich configuration?? I can not make it work😢

Good points.
The connector at 1:16 is a bit weird isn't it?
Is the hot end upgradeable to do nylons and CF blends?
Ciao potresti spiegare meglio come montare il fan dock? E se puoi darci il profilo di stampa corretto
I bught this printer but the pendrive comes with no data to test...😢
Im early!
You sooooooo Beauty 😍😍😍
