Found a walkthrough/playthrough of Chronos (the game in the timeline before Remnant) here: ruclips.net/video/h3gv97qtDAY/видео.html One of the three worlds that the player character goes through is Yaesha, home of the Pan (another is a world home to the Krell, a sort of goblin-like race - mentioned in Remnant as where the mirror gateway technology came from, btw, which you can see in part 1 of that walkthrough) and to the Labyrinth. The video linked has a couple books in it. The player kind of skims through things quickly (and there's another video where they guy is more careful about reading the books and item descriptions...but the dude just won't shut up in that one, I think it's linked in one of the videos of the walkthrough I linked to), but you can pause and read stuff in both walkthroughs. Indeed, the two walkthroughs are the ONLY ones I can find that are let's plays of Chronos, and even the Chronos wiki doesn't really catalogue the lore in depth. I'm considering going through those videos and logging it all somewhere......
Still Loving remnant and I've been itching for learning lore as well. Hoping the devs keep up with the game , first time I've been this invested in a while!
@@Aether_GM They seem to be, the lastest update - Leto's Lab - was a big hit and brought some good lore into the world (video on the channel). I believe they have plans to keep regular updates coming
I was wondering why the pan felt so familiar to me, and then i realize that their design is oddly inspired off of fauns and satyrs of Greek and roman mythology and oddly enough collectively both are called "pan"
Pan himself is also a well known Satyr in mythology. There's quite a bit of mythological influence in Yaesha in terms of Greek design. Architecture, rituals and some of their deities too.
Corsus is notoriously unfinished lore wise. There is a strong suspicion that it's going to get reworked in future patches. The devs even said it's unfinished so I'm waiting for that before giving it a proper go.
“It is a world, still untouched” But sadly, the destroyer-the devourer-left yaesha unguarded The krell who fought the pan are a strange race to be sure The wolf devours life, so it hunted those who fed off of life (mostly those who ate of the thaen tree)
@@Loup_DM I think they've said it was his contact with the World Stone/Red Stone (mechanics wise, it's the same reason the player characters are immortal, I THINK...?)
@@SubduedRadical That's true, it's the crystal. I suspect it only only works with quantum entanglement, being able to teleport you, but it's also a quantum storage system, being able to re-create you if you die, making a copy of the way you were exactly before you died.

Ford to The Pan: Would you like to know the concept of R E V O L U T I O N ?
LOL I hope that's how he pitched it to them
These are awesome, the story of this game has eluded me until your videos
Very happy you're able to get into it now. The story is great.

Another good video. Any reason you went for Yaesha before Corsus?

How is Ford so old?
He was made immortal by some force ( Either the crystals or the Root Mother, it isn't known yet)
@@Loup_DM thanks!
