Greetings new Warframe players, here are some tips from a 400 hour veteran; Play at your own pace or you will be overwhelmed at the sheer amount of things to do. You are stepping into a game that is the culmination of like a decades worth of work and none of it will make sense both story wise and often gameplay wise. You are a space ninja first and far most. *Go kill.* This game is not P2W in anyway and the devs actively avoid making it so. The only thing this game demands from you is TIME as getting certain warframes or weapons' will require farming certain areas, planets, bosses, or game events. Of course you can "buy" these things but I have never had to do this as a few hours playing gets you what you need to make them. Knowledge will both be your best friend and worst enemy in Warframe. The devs have been trying their best to make things less complicated but you will still run into a problem and ask "Where do I find this?" and be led into a rabbit hole task that requires 10 different steps. The best way to solve this is not being shy to ask in the region/Q&A chat. There is always people lurking there talking or memeing around and veterans will always help you. Other than looking up the question, this will save you countless hours of headwall banging. Do not come into the game with a collectors mindset first. You will be overwhelmed if you try to get all the weapons and warframes out there. Focus on one specific warframe that suites your style and beeline to it. Prime versions of warframes should be ignored by beginners until they are ready to handle super farming. (Prime warframes can be "bought" but I have farmed more than 9/10 of the ones I have for free) There is (technically) no premium currency. Platinum can not only be easily gained by trading for items in demand, but can be bought for real money. Platinum (plat) is the backbone of this game and is used for expediting crafting, to buying prime parts, to buying cosmetic items from the market. I'd recommend never buying it unless you truly have left over money from a birthday or holiday or something. It really is simple in getting it by farming then trading. Do NOT try to understand the story. There are lore youtubers out there that still have trouble explaining it. The devs are awesome with few hiccups in the games history. With time you will be bombarded by free stuff the game sometimes gives you. Try to avoid spoilers in the community. I know I just said don't try to understand the story, but some moments are awesome and clear things up. FashionFrame will inevitably be the end game for you like it has been for everybody else. It's drip or drown Spiderman. Don't scare the hoes away with default color pallets.
When I saw you hover over that legendary core while looking at some low tier mods I Instantly got a heart attack lma.. WAIT YOU USED IT ON that?! Great video though
😂 I should have clarified. I meant hover prompts, such as highlighted text that indicates you can interact with something. Honestly it's not a huge deal I guess i just get confused in the menu sometimes.
@@JayTCU Nah man, I think he is talking about on what mod you used your Legendary Core 💀 I won't blame you, cuz u prob new, but Legendary Cores are Insanely rare and there are mods that cost TONS to max out. If you get another in the future, it's better to save it for more expensive mods or sell it for some pl. An example is the "Prime" version of the mod you just upgraded which is "Prime Continuity" and that stuff is Crazy Expensive
Damn, no guide i've watched told me to save on those cores. The only bit of information on materials and item upgrades i was told is to "not buy them" because you get them quite frequently in the world. I'll have to be more careful from now on.
The developers of Warframe, Digital Extremes, are pretty much the only game devs i trust these days. They take community feedback seriously, they have always respected my time and money, and they actually play their own game! They're the GOAT
I was already looking into that heading into the game. I made a video before complaining about live service games monetized out the ass and have poor communication with the community. Glad to see that's not the case here.
Welcome young tenno, take your time and enjoy the game. Also good luck, DE made the new player experience kinda miserable 😂 when in doubt ask Q&A chat and warframe wiki will be your best friend most of the time
Welcome to the warframe rabithole. as a player of over 5k hours i have 2 bits of advice for you. enjoy the game at your own pace and EVERYTHING in this game is free if you grind enough.
@JayTCU awesome! We also have an amazing community here so if you have any questions you can ask me or just leave the question in your vids. We're always happy to help a new tenno. I can also send you some links to some great beginner's guides if you'd like.
Wait til you get to the factions where it's a choice to not get randomly jumped by them because you chose the one they don't like, aside from already getting jumped by some edgy rando wielding a wacky greatsword, a robo-dog, or the Three Stooges.
i'm seeing some people giving you hard time about the legendary core so let me tell that it doesn't matter. Legendary cores are so rare that you're gonna upgrade 99% of your mods without one and by the time you get a mod that it's worth using on it's not gonna be that big a deal. P.S. i've played for 6 years and i've only ever gotten 3 cores, all from events or codes, so don't worry they are not that important.

Some good points there BUT 400h in you're still a baby tenno, not a vet yet
My man is nearly at the 500 hour mark for true apprentice xD
@@xypherpl9506 My bad. I'll become a sensei at 5,000 steam hours.
400h not really a veteran, baby tenno

Much appreciated🤝🏾

Its not a race , but a marathon, take your time , enjoy !!!
Trust me I am, dont worry.
Sorry about the bitrate.
fun fact you can go to the store and get blueprints for most weapons for 15,000 credits.
Yeah I don't know which to buy so I'm saving up on credits and then buying like 15 at once.
Bro just wasted his Legendary Fusion Core on base Continuity... sadge
I was just informed of that. I thought since the mod was gold-colored that meant it was powerful.
@@JayTCU Gold mods are pretty common when you play the game. white ones or prime mods are your uber powerful mods.

also do a video after you do the quest. you will know which one once you play it.
Man I'm doing Vox Solaris quest still. A bit tough. The quest have been meh so far i wont lie. I expect them to get a lot better though.

It's fine. I find it hilarious cuz I know people were horrified when they saw it. I'm not used to being the new player😂
