  • "When We Was Fab" is a song by English musician George Harrison, which he released on his 1987 album Cloud Nine. It was also issued as the second single from the album, in January 1988. The lyrics serve as a nostalgic reflection by Harrison on the days of Beatlemania during the 1960s, when the Beatles were first referred to as "the Fab Four". Harrison co-wrote the song with Jeff Lynne, who also co-produced the track. The recording references the psychedelic sound that the Beatles had helped popularize in 1967, through its use of sitar, cello, and backwards-relayed effects. Harrison's former Beatles bandmate Ringo Starr is among the other musicians on the track.
In the United Kingdom, it peaked at number 25 on the UK Singles Chart, and in the United States, the song peaked at number 23 on Billboard magazine's Hot 100 chart. It was Harrison's last top 40 hit in the US, and the second such hit in which the lyrics reflect on his years as a Beatle - the other being "All Those Years Ago" (1981). (Wikipedia)

Georgy Porgy’s Favourites Uploaded: George Harrison. - When We Was Fab !!! (1987)
This is a stunningly George Harrison’s interpretation of a song which stand’s the test of time.
You’ve put together a fantastic video which includes the transcendental music so reknown to George.
This photography takes me way back to the excitement, colour photography and proving without a shadow of a doubt that George could sing 🎤 and was an excellent writer.
He certainly has made his mark on your video photography.
I actually enjoyed how it progressed through time but didn’t seem to date. His musical talents are well noted from me.
I love ❤️ the old fashioned photography of the (Fab. Four)
I enjoyed the introduction and also how George perfected his transcendental music with his sitar.
The challenge is where does this great score go to. …. I will enjoy listening and playing this song for a long time to come. … Past memories never die, at least for me..
It took me back to happy memories, though. Which can always be re-kindled.
I’ve loved listening to your choice.
Thank You for letting me re- trace the past times.
    Perfection … in my opinion.
The lyric’s were great. I can rest happily now. Thank You 🙏 Mmm
