I've found this on a few Denon Cassette decks. The three-pin plug/sockets especially for the head connections are the worst. All have been just bad solder joints, no damaged tracks. This one got past me, I damn sure double-checked every other one though. Thanks for your comment, I've typically had pretty good success with the Denons but I've mostly worked on the later ones. Maybe their QC department finally got the message from their warranty department.
Yep, been there of course. I have had on several occasions come across ultra fine hair line cracks in the solder, in particular connector posts (much like your example here!), where the crack is so fine that it isn't visible to the naked eye nor magnifying glass. It was *only* when I accidentally shone directed light across at an angle did this gap show up, it was truly amazing! I suspect that you ASB, will no doubt (by default) re-work all these joints, because sometimes these ultra fine cracks are simply so 'fine' there's a 99% chance we'll miss them out! As ever excellent photograph, you vids are always worth watching.

Una pregunta ASB Custom hace unas semanas atrás hiciste un video de la compra de un lote de cabezales para el TASCAM 122 MK2 MK3 y decías que eran los últimos que quedaban en TEAC de EEUU, bueno ahí va mi pregunta, mi hermano tiene un TEAC modelo V-70C el cual es un modelo sencillo de dos cabezas, pero muy bonito de apariencia y bueno ya le sale cambio de cabeza, tu crees que le pueda conseguir la cabeza en TEAC de EEUU y bueno también por cuestiones del destino perdió la tapa de la puerta del compartimiento del cassette, tu crees que se le puedan conseguir esas dos cosas. Me puedes indicar como puedo hacer para por lo menos preguntar si tienen esas piezas. Te lo agradecería mucho, gracias de antemano.
Gracias Nelson. Es poco probable que Teac tenga su cabeza, pero un espectador me informó de los reemplazos del mercado de accesorios que parecen tener buenas críticas. No sé si funcionarán en su aplicación, pero vale la pena comprobarlo.
@@asbcustom Gracias ASB Custom, si probé con un cabezal Technics, el modelo de la cabeza es SX, los Deck Technics que lo tienen se escuchan bastante bien, pero en el TEAC V-70C aparentemente no va bien, voy a probar con otros a ver que tal me va, es una lastima es un Deck muy bonito, pero le perdió la tapa del portacassette, ese modelo es muy poco conocido, en Ebay casi no se ve.

A veces me veo obligado a comprar un mazo solo para obtener una cabeza, o algo más. Hacemos lo que debemos.
