You can, however there may be color accuracy and consistency loss when using CMYK, especially on a base white. Sometimes (particularly with large shirt orders) your best bet is to utilize spot colors. Even though the job takes more screens, consistency and accuracy will remain more constant for the duration of the order and thus minimize the time the press is occupied with the job.

High Detail plates are usually ran on higher meshes. As a result, a grey underbase could shift some of the colors darker and throw off the color scheme of the artwork. For accuracy and quality, white underbase is definitely recommended.

11 colors for a 5 color job?
yes... 5 color is enough... grey underbase on dark tshirt instead white.

This was of no practical help whatsoever. What a waste of time and energy. Go through the process a million miles a second, great stuff.
Bullshit, 6 colors and done! This guy don't want to lose his job so he's mayit sound way more complicated than just 6 color!
