      It is good at first to understand the steps but definitely research every part In depth because one mess up and the entire design process is messed up for good with no redos.
      Also, $60 to do all this is really misleading as hell lol. I can’t believe the tutorial tries to act like that’s all you need and you’re set. It’s enough for one tee shirt i guess

    When I was working at a screen printing shop back in the day, it was largely the same process, just geared toward bigger orders. So, the materials, and equipment were slightly different/more robust. We use sheet emulsion on the screens. We had an industrial arc lamp, and vacuum table to burn the screens. The basement was set up to prep screens for burning, and for reclaiming screens if we we're expecting more shirt orders from that job. We had single, two color, and four color stations, and later added an automatic press that was capable of 8 colors. Of course, there was a wall with all of the various inks we used. A Pantone guide was essential for mixing colors to client specifications. Amazing to think that practically anyone can do this, really.

    great for first timers, but there was one thing that he could have done to ensure it to always be a better print.... when applying the emulsion it needed to be applied none ink side and then ink side and not scoop off access on the non ink side because that is where it needed to be thickest.

    You need to make sure you're flooding properly, one clean flood. And then when it comes to printing, just keep one long sausage of ink/paint at the top then apply lots of pressure and print the design in one solid wipe down the screen. Notice the top right of your final print is blotchy and faint. It's because you let too much ink through the screen before you printed.

    It's not hard to do. In fact its simple. You forgot to tell people to take the glass cover out of the light . You need a 600 watt light about 12 inches above and use for about 6 minutes only. You should see the things we make .you would not believe it .

    • @CringeOMusic
      @CringeOMusic 11 месяцев назад +12

      it's so crazy how people misunderstand the whole light situation. first of all, it's different per emulsion. second, the light wattage isn't going to be super strict. none of it is. it's all going to be case sensitive. what's crazier is how people give up after like two tries. you can use all kinds of lights some longer than others guys but as some people find like crispychicken here certain lights may work better than others

    • @eg5595
      @eg5595 4 месяца назад

      I think so. The black, will make the openings or the negative space on the screen. Then you spray wash those places from the emulsion which now creates openings that allow ink to be pressed through with a squeegee
