Great work Gino! It's hard to find videos where people actually take the time to explain the aspects of the discharge process. You killed it - thanks brother.
shtewps hey no problem! Thanks for watching and commenting
Thank you for the comparison between 100% and 50-50 shirts. This video is thorough, and very helpful. A++++
I'm so glad I found you! Thank you for this great tutorial.
Fantastic video! I wanted to test this myself and you save me time. Keep them coming!!
Great video! I'm gonna try this!
Such a good video. I'm trying out this technique soon, great info. Thank you.

Gino thanks man that's a great video with great tips for T shirt printers
Abbas khan I really appreciate that! Thank you for watching and please rate thumbs up.
awesome video dude. I wish you would make a new one...learned so much from this.
Nice shirt, really great insight and advice. Do people want to spend the extra for quality printing or are they satisfied wearing that same oldJoeJearsy? Does, 'it was good enough for Winterland then it is good enough for me' mentality prevail? Thanks for the vid.
thanks for the lesson :) great..
Yester production- thank you for watching and the positive feedback!
Thanks :D
what brand of ink do you use? and what mesh count do you use? Thanks
Great video! Much like all your other videos. Thanks for all the helpful info. One question. When discharge printing and regular water based printing, do you go on contact, or off contact?
Dark Manifestationz Thanks for watching! When we use waterbase and discharge we use very very little off contact...
hello, I wonder what kind of ink is this which is invisible but once you get past the greenhouse appears. I thank you
Can you tell me what is the emulsion you´re using? I just started with discharge and my screen breaks down after few shirts (30-40)
the temperature was set to "fahrenheit or celsius"? please reply
Gino this tutorial is so good!!!! Thank you so much!! One question, discharge inks can not be affixed on top of the other truth? Best regards!
correct! Discharge would "eat" AKA "bleach" any inks underneath it
All purples? even light ones?
Great design , how do you keep the shirts down on the platen ? When I use discharge , the adhesive I have doesn’t keep the shirts down, thanks
That’s all I use- a water based platen adhesive. Card it on- I have been using textac platen adhesive...but the new bucket I got doesn’t stick as good as it used too. And just noticed it is made by chromaline now- used to be made by some other company.
did you use plastisol ink all colors or just the white letters is plastisol
Can i use discharge ink with only one color which is white?
Did u get rid of the riley press? This video has a newer date
yes...this is an M&R Chameleon 6/6
what do those heat machines usually run? I would like to do this but based from home, is there a smaller version
yes there are smaller dryers but you need ventilation, You can use a flash unit to cure plastisol and other inks with some practice for small scale printing. Or you can look into waterbased products
what screen mesh were you using??
156 mesh count
How does 80% cotton to 20% poly discharge do? Does it come out better than that 50/50? It’s a dark navy.. thanks!
JTL should be ok. What brand of ink and what brand of shirts?
what was the screen mesh used??
110 and 156
Is Used materials are plastic ....Please reply
Waterbase printing has been a nightmare for me. I live in a hot, dry, and 0% humidity city. Waterbase dries up quickly on the screen for me.
Wichita!
+Devin Chaves Heck Yeah..ICT!
+Learn How To Screen Print T-shirts Question: Some people do or don't charge more for plastisol vs discharge. Why might that be?
I charge more because it takes more time to mix the ink and we slow the dryer down for the best curing results.
So what happens when you dont use a forced air dryer to cure discharge??... Is it even possible to cure discharge with a regular IR flash?
It just takes much longer to cure because it will be air drying.
Add a fan...basically forced air is just th IR heat with air movement. before we got forced air we used a fan to push the steam away..making our own forced air.
Can you use a heat press instead?
E
Did you use discharge ink in your arm? 😁
Can i use discharge ink with only one color which is white?
