You can actually hear Robbie clearly in the choruses! Great performance of a great song!
What a great version, it's unfortunate they left this and WS Walcott Show and Rag Mama Rag out of the Last Waltz, great versions on the cocaine train.

This was a Robbie, Rick and Levon tune collaboration, so in a live setting, a bit more guitar solo seems fitting for Winterland, Those three were the spiritual heart of The Band.But there is nothing not to love about all of it, and them.

This should have featured in the film ,they cut out so many good songs
and Scorsese shortened Dont Do It, Shape Im In, Mystery Train, and Caravan
+Jalan Hart along with up on cripple creek and it makes no difference

I became more interested in the Band when they added the horns. (Yes I had the albums) Those arrangements are spectacular. Can they be purchased ? They would be a wonderful learning vehicle on how to make the horns a dynamic presence to add to the song and not just a filler.
Very nice, as it didn't make "The Last Waltz" documentary but should have. Great rendition of the song, if a little heavy on the Robbie. Thanks for posting!
