There will be mistakes during this process is a very true statement, even with the most seasoned supply chain professional. Please do your homework; there are many pieces to this process in-between each item the video discusses, such as bid evaluations, detailed drawings and specifications, and logistics. You need to understand these items in greater detail along with the entire supply chain cycle.
If you were to order a professional to work on your design, how do you make sure that the product that you have that might be patentable, is not stolen by the professional?

You'll want to reach out to the supplier directly. Some suppliers do allow this but it's best to speak to one so you can get an estimate. They'll be able to answer these questions for you about these products since each supplier can vary. -Rio

This is all great information, but what is the cost of all of this? Major piece that's left out, and one part that really prevents millions of people from even attempting to start a small business. Cost is so prohibitive for a lot of this, even with an SBA loan.

As long as you find a suitable manufacturer, you can work with them to either dropship the products for you as your orders come in, or you can buy inventory from them at wholesale and ship yourself. The dropshipping method is a great way to get started because it takes away the overhead costs of stocking your products.

What about Eastern European manufacturers ? How do we find them ? I know it may not be a good option for American businesses but for us Europeans it sometimes can be a great option to cut down shipping fees

You need to be more specific with your searches. Word it differently and you’ll find what you’re looking for.
Basically a trading company will take a cut from you. So your profit will decrease.
