Looking good. Guys. Your like me I don't want to move the engine back 2.feet hack out the fire wall. Smash out the windows and make them so they don't go up and down. Replace the rest with lexan. At some point it's not a S10 anymore. And the horsepower and RPM. Your going to have. Its going out the back door with a vengeance. Line it up straight because I I don't think the front wheels are going to touch the track much. Listen to. Set it off. Audio Slave.

I love the idea of recycling perfectly good parts into Tommy's truck and getting even more use out of said parts all the while improving on the truck that established the channel!
Billy if your rear mounting the turbos, maybe construct a dedicated electric oiling system, check turbo manufacture for oiling needs.

Billy, it says so much about you and Father, Big Rob, Tommy at how successful you guys are against the very best competition racing with kit that really had no business being run that hard. Piece after piece just whipped.
Jason Cantu is super-fast and really knows how to make S-10's win at the very pinnacle of competition. He would be a good guy to ask for his opinion.
Billy, 2023 will be a most difficult year for the competition. Great to see SRC winning at the most elite levels.
The Falcon will be extremely difficult to beat so Perry, Mork and others are keeping a very wary eye on you guys.

That is a badass kit from 417. Bed mounting the turbos👍👍If you have to, run a separate oil system for the turbos. Pump, cooler and reservoir. It will keep the feed oil cooler and you won't have mile long lines.
Keep turbos up front, put carbon doors back on. Cant wait to see you make a hit with the new combo

Agree. Set the engine back 8-10”. Some notching of the firewall at most.

Billy, Rob is correct in his thinking about the scavage pump pushing oil into the turbos. When I lived in Ca I would frequent the Glamis Sand Dunes and the ultra high dollar twin turbo sand cars that would constantly wheelie from the power were having oiling issues so the engine builders were fixing that issue with scavage pumps..

Watching RUclips videos of this truck back in 2020 got me into drag racing again. I was so excited to see you was coming to my home track in Wilkesboro a couple years ago , the race was cut short due to the crash of the purple mustang. Im so glad to see it getting the love it deserves. That truck and the Falcon are iconic

Wow, You sure have gone all in in with the truck upgrades. These upgrades are definitely going to change the game you've been playing with the truck. And having recordable data will definitely help to keep you on that razor thin competitive edge. This is going to be fun to watch in the near future. Btw, I hope you guys do a separate video when you get the new engine back for the Faclon. Im sure Mike Lough has put some extra love into it for you guys.

Been watching the truck since like 2017 or 2018... It was instantly my favorite no prep and always will be. I'm a Truck guy so Im glad its not being replaced fully by the nova.
Billy before you choose front tire size and offset measure your scrub radius and use that to base your decision. This gives u all the feeling in your steering wheel. Measure it with the front end up where it would be while under power. Check it out.... Thanks vehicles are looking good man..

Awesome guys!! Nice move on that final snipet you inserted for us to see the end result to really tie it together for us!! All to often people explain what they are doing and it’s hard for some of us to visualize and then we see the next video and it’s done and we are never able to actually see the process so it becomes a moot point to the viewer so thanks so much for doing that guys!! We’re not all bomb ass fabricators that can instantly visualize what your talking about lol. I cannot wait to see it when it’s done. It’s gon be a beast baby!!!
For bed mounted turbos I've ran the drain lines to under the truck into an alum 2" tube and capped both ends. 3/4" drains from turbo to top of tube and 3/4" from bottom of tube into scavage pump. Gives you a small buffer room.
2" diameter by 6" tall tube = 10 ounces of oil.
For twins rear mounted I've run those tubes and then a 3/4" Y into a single scavange pump with no issues.
Returned the oil into the valley cover with a tight radius 90* fitting and it did very good.
I can't wait to see this beast in action.

I did mine years ago started like you guys ended up with an S&W tube chassis. Make sure to use one piece charge pipe through the cab. But I like the idea of everything in the bed. If I went turbo that's a good spot. Agree with Rob on Oiling of the turbos both supply and return. Maybe the just return to a catch can.

Billy you need to take all the old stuff you’ve took/cut off and weight it. I’m eager to see what it all weighs. So glad to see you doing all this. Truck was always badass. Now it’s gonna be next level.
Promod lol OK. There is 1 thing I did with my nova when we cut out the cross member under the engine. We boxed in where we cut it an welded plates. Then we welded up a tube with two flat plates on each end an drilled holes through that an put two holes per side on the frame an tapped them to make it removable for the pan to come off. The reason is so the frame rails don't flex. My car still has everything stock with the stock a arm's. But either way nice job guys. Stay safe an good luck

Looking good guys! Just a suggestion, David and Tina Pierce both run trucks with turbos on the bed. Both have bed covers on them. I think both of their trucks are Sonoma’s so basically the same pickups. They are great folks and I’m sure would answer any questions you might have.
You probably need to rethink the rear mounted turbos and radiator. Then weight you think you're going to save will be negated by the tubing and pipe to run the hot side back and intercooled forward and the piping for cooling will need to be steel. Not to mention the heat you will lose in the hot side pipe. Good luck in your build.

There are oilless turbos out there. Not cheap but you won't have to worry about scavenging. There also should be enough space between the bed and the cab that you can get your fresh air from there while keeping the tonneau cover.
