- The egg quality info going around is all different and can be confusing let's clear it up in this video! We will also go over some of the changes form the most recent patch of the Rhyniognatha.

Yes and interesting part is that my highest lvl (280 with 979%md) came from a lvl 65 rhynio.

If you connect up a controller on pc you lose the ability to use extended hud Everyone was always telling me to hold down h but it never did anything lol Just thought it didn't work. When working with the Rynios I figured it out. Just boot the game without a controller connected or deactivate the game pad. Never really needed it before then anyway.
formula for egg quality is 25 + (rhynio level)/2 eg. 25+ (100)/2= 75% egg quality
So for stats does it work like regular breeding where there’s a chance to get a certain stat from the parent that isn’t the giant bug and a chance that it gets the wild giant bugs stats, and also do the stats transfer over exactly as in Rex had 12k on pop so the big gets 12k or would it be like the Rex had 50 points into hp which turn out to be lets say 12k on the Rex so the bug has 50 points into hp but it doesn’t translate into 12 k if that makes sense
If you get all 3 states to 100% then breeding works the same as normal. It is the points/levels though that get transferred so like you said if a rex has 50 points in hp the rhynio would get 50 points in hp if that stat transferred. Just like in breeding there is a chance it gets all of one parents or some of both parents stats.

Does level 120 in the island give 100%?
By extended HUD do you mean the thing that shows time and what buffs/debuffs do and all that? If that’s the case you hold the start button on Xbox and the touch pad button on PlayStation for however long you wanna see it. And I’ve personally only found one like right off the bat on my private server and after MANY dino wipes I still haven’t found another one.
Ya on pc you hold h or set the extended hud to toggle. I play on PC never really needed the hud before now tribe mates had mentioned it I hit h nothing happened moved on lol.
I will try holding start and see if that works on PC. I know when I hit start it acts like I hit the esc button bringing up the options menu.

Do you know if you can do it on host/local I have tried to breed them so many times on there and can never get it

You need the pheromone and to feed it to a tame once you have the rhynio you want
Bring the rhynio down to 10%hp now (Wildcard changed it from 5 to 10% in an update)
Wait for the rhynio attack to switch to impregnating your dino.
if you trap a rhynio depending on the room they have or if you used ceilings or trap doors the animation may get interrupted and fail.

What does egg quality mean tho? Guaranteed higher stats from parents or just if you get lucky to get the higher stat it will be 100% of the points from that stat inherited?
It is one of 3 factors that determine what percentage of the stats that come over will be.
So if you meet weight quality, egg quality, and hit all the feed timers, you would get 100% of the parents stats that transfer over
So if a bronto had 70 points in hp and the baby rhynio inherited the hp it would get 70 points. If any of the 3 conditions are not perfect the amount inherited goes down so instead of 70 it might be 50 points.
Stat inheritance follows the standard breeding for Arlk there is no guarantee of which parent will give the stats.

@@CamwayGaming I think a core problem is the phrase "egg quality" is confusing to people because there's no "egg" in the normal Ark sense. If I understand you properly, egg quality is roughly equivalent to taming efficiency, a stat potential efficiency of the baby implanted in the host dino.
@@HuginMunin kind of. If you use extended hud H by default you can see the three stats needed to get the best stats possible. It is similar to taming efficiency but it also ahs to do with what percentage of the stat points you will get from the parent as well since this is more breeding than taming.

Hi is this 1x stats dodo dex doesnt explain how long they take to raise
1x is really hard to define outside of official servers. Small tribes, Single player, ect 1x is higher than official 1x and unofficial servers vary as well.
I am unsure how long it takes to actually raise them. The settings used are 1x official as far as getting the 100% on egg quality to get the highest level possible Rynio.

Anytime! I like what they have done allowing this creature to take stats when born allows it to immediately compete with dinos that have been bred for years.
@@CamwayGaming I've seen some at base lvl that aren't that bad either 🤷♂like 3k hp 900 stam and 300 melee 🤣I suspect a nerf is coming soon lol.
@@dungoncrazy2634 they did nerf the hp according to patch notes sounds like they get 30% less now. According to Ark Tested it looks like the hp will still get up to around 300k using official dinos for stat transference.
I've used a lvl 95 female for the babies and I got 72% on the egg quality so every 5 lvls it adds around 3%
people on official are allready getting 450 on hatch, but they are capped at that level, so where looking for stats level close to 362? i assume they follow the other creature logic that added levels increase stat higher than base.
They are probably getting both the tamed dino stats which are already borderline and then inheriting some of the wild rhynio stats pushing it up to 450.
On officials when a dino is mutated enough to go over 450 after leveling it gets bred with a level 5 to get one stat over such as melee so that the level is much lower and just melee can be mutated over and over when it gets to high level rinse repeat. Combining one of these with a level 150 Rhynio will produce a really high level baby.

I had a 115 and had 82% egg quality.
Thanks for letting us know! I did the math and if Level 5 starts at 25% then each level gains 0.5% so that would put level 115 at 82.5% and 150 at 100% level 100 at 75%.
