I have been thinking about several cannons on a Quetzal platform all fired by using a pressure plate for very fast Titan taming for a solo player.
I wish you and yours nothing but the best. Highly underrated ARKtubers. You guys always put out quality.
Your methods are severely underrated. Your Quetzal method with honey was so eye opening for me, and when I saw honey on your tool bar in this video I thought there would be more honey hijinks to be had, but this is way better.
I open the idea for me too I try with the flower to make it afro me but it doesn't work I'm a solo player so was hard for me to get one without the net or a mount that can fly and shot
lol the reason I had honey in my inventory is because if I find a high level Rhynio it will take a few shots to bring it down but once it starts running from me it's much harder to bring down so a while back I found out that if you throw a honey close to it when it's running it starts to tweek out and slows down a lot which gives me time to shoot it. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to show this since I didn't find a good level one. But now you know a little secret :)
This is an amazing idea, i played on a friendly PvE where people just build unlocked traps for everyone to use and share so that was not an issue. But it is extremely difficult to get a read on its HP with the magnifying glass even while trapped since its moving around. Sometimes they even refuse to impregnate the dinos while in traps. Putting it to sleep makes all of this so much simpler.
On my server i just have a mod for early binoculars that allow you to pin their stats on the screen while you bring it down, so i just tame them raw there.
Wow even playing on unofficial this method seems to be a lot easier than a trap. Never thought about knocking it out

You can make trap at your base a box of some sort and bring her all the way to the base flying very high to prevent her loosing interest in you :)

I feel like I need to just say. We filed a report ticket yesterday, 20 mins later a dev was above our base addressing the issue. Telling people "the devs aren't caring right now" is unhealthy for the game. Submit tickets people. They are backlogged, that doesn't mean they don't care.
We submitted a ticket 2 weeks ago because someone built around our main building to stop us from expanding, we provided video and nothing has been done. Our official server went from being full to only 18 to 19 players because some people kept grieving others and nothing was being done. Now, my remark about the devs not caring was an actual quote from the grievers to the other person. Hope this clarifies.
We run a large tribe that always takes a large portion of land. However, we always leave our traps unlocked for all to use. We do this so there doesn't end up being a thousand Dino gate traps that are locked and left abandoned . Everyone wins. I do agree that if we were all better people, pillaring wouldn't be needed.
One of the lucky few. Devs basically do nothing.

There are no lassos on The Island with official settings, unless you have a mod. Maybe on ASE though? Kinda curious.
The wiki says the lasso will work. So it’s definitely worth a test.
You can lasso it but.....everything and their mama will try to kill you and your equus so I don't suggest it. It's best to use a dino that most other dinos won't bother like the top 3 dinos I mention on the video.

This method works in official pve ? I tried it but wen they wake up they keep on attacking it not impregnating it at all

Yeah a tutorial on the the Mods for PS5. Never had want to do things right. See lots of mods that need ini files changes. Want to learn more so I don't want to mess up my game. How to read the mod so you know if you're going to really want to use, etc.

lol tribes have a reason many reasons. Trolling, greedy, feeling of power because they basement dwellers :P. That's why I have a Dedicated server I run for friends and family. Official PVE = hair pulling.
@@johernandez266 honestly they really should like u on the amount of structure per tribe can build on official and bring tribe wars back original ark was superior and much funner also allowed you to use the full use of all Dino’s and structures where as right now in pve and PvP u can not
I didn't know an argy could take one of those things down lol, Ive ran into one and about had a heart attack weaving thru trees trying to escape it. Next time I will kill it. Do the essence store in preserving bin or fridge or is it best to get them just before going for the tame?
An easy way to tame it without having to knock it out, as well as to bring them on a bronco with a platform saddle in a chain bola with a ballista you literally just hit it with the chain it’ll get knocked down you can shoot it in the face a few times with a shotgun or hit it with a sword then run back to the pronto. Get back on soon as it takes off shoot it again and then check it with your magnifying glass and just repeat that process until it’s really low. That’s a really easy way where you don’t need a trap to take it out.
The only tricky part is you’re going to need an argi that is literally sacrificial because the chain bowlers you’ll need like 20 or more of them and they are like 400 pounds in total so it would be best to have a sacrificial one and then you would bring your fronto with the platform saddle along in a cryo-pod then when you find one you just throw the bronco out land on the platform with the RG take the stuff out of its inventory, put it into the pronto and then just focus on doing what I said above and if the argi gets killed it’s no big deal it was meant for sacrifice anyways
Alternatively, you could just walk the pronto all the way over there yourself but that should be self-explanatory on why that would be a pain in the ass .
There are no cryopods currently in ASA. But when they add them, it might work. Though chain bolas and a ballista are much more expensive than a couple tranq arrows/darts. And the point of the video is doing it in a way where other players can’t interfere. This method seems like they could since it requires more time and keeping the rhynio vulnerable to attack.
Yeah you are trying to protect your Rhynio from getting killed and if you trap it with a bola...someone can still kill it.

A couple questions, do you feed the cravings in the bronto? I'd imagine some would come up on the walk back. Do you stop it and fly back to base to grab whatever or do you just skip that? If you don't does it make much impact on the end result?
I built a trap and tamed a low level one on a Mammoth (the biggest dino I had at the time). I have Brontos now but my line of Paracers are higher level (and I can carry a Paracer with my low level Rhynio) is it better to have a larger dino (the bronto) or higher stats? Does size just affect carry weight? Thanks!
Yes you do need to quench cravings while traveling back. I suggest always carrying a golden egg if you have it because most of the time the first craving is golden egg. I personally usually skip the first couple of cravings unless I have the argy follow me. If vixen is on, then she just brings me what I need but she is not always on. The top 3 dinos are the best because they have a 900 drag weight or higher which allows the baby to inherit 100% of the stats if you satisfy all the cravings. I you use something with less weight like the rex you can only get up to 80% of it's stats that it inherits from the rex with all cravings satisfied. If you get something even smaller like a trike you only get up to about 40% ish of the trikes stats it inherits. Hope this helps.

I had decided i was never going to tame one of them with there normal taming method but seeing this makes me think maybe i could, i am curious tho if one were to be tranqed how long do they stay asleep for? 🤔

I learned this back in 2015 when the game came out and someone was trying to kill my ptero that I had down and I thought they were going to kill it but nope. It's part of PVE, not really a setting. What is interesting is that I saw a dilo passed out in the swamp and I was trying to eat it but I couldn't touch it with my sword or dino. I took a closer look and it was not being tamed by a tribe so what happened is that a snake bit it and made it pass out but as soon as it went to sleep no one could hurt it. I thought that was very interesting.

btw you mentioned a good level argentavis can take out Rhyniognatha, what type of stats do you have on your bird there for refence? (like damage health, etc)
as I just got an argy and want to know when they'll be good enough to take these on for the pheremones
I usually have 5k health, 1400 stam, I put the rest in melee usually run about 500 melee. This would be my battle argy. If the argy doesn't have melee in the 300s after tamed than I would turn it into a weight argy and tame another.

Hello. Regarding another player bringing wild tames to your tame in progress - Couldn't someone shoot your tame with a pheromone dart to agro the wild dinos in the area?
if you are on pve and your dino is already sleeping others cannot shoot it with anything as far as I know but I will have to try this out just to make sure :)

takes a lot more than 1 or 2 darts, and when its almost KO it flys to the ocean...
I've never had one fly to the ocean to be honest. One tried to fly into the red woods but I threw a honey to make it tweek out and they slow down quite a bit. They don't go after the honey but for some reason they do tweek out. If it's a high level it does take a lot more than 1 or 2 but I was referring to the one I was trying to take down which was a lower level. Hope this helps.
I love that you did this for Official! FOLLOWING! How long does the Pheromone last and can it be put in the fridge? Can you have more than 1 Dino get pregnant if you have the pheromones
Pheromone in the fridge keeps for about 30 days.

The drag weight for a percer is 600 which is too low. That would give you about 85% of total stats that transfer if you satisfy all cravings. Bronto weighs 1000 which anything over 900 you can get 100% transfer.
By the time I get a PS freaking five ingot or tomorrow at my friends already told me they got people pillar in the shit out of the server and shit like that there’s nowhere to build nothing but when I get on the server I’m gonna start reporting people

I wish I could just play the game... so many crashes while interacting or leaving chests/smithy etc. So obnoxious. Cant even play the game that I bought, while being inside my own base. Anyone got any clues? I am playing on medium graphics as I've been slowly working down every crash. Just trying to see if that's the issues. Updated drivers and same thing. What is causing these interaction crashes?! I even turn off volumetric clouds every time, which I wish would just stay off once I save the game.
Some people say its Frame gen on the UI that crashes. Others it's "Fluid interaction" when "on" crashes but then you get floating small rocks on the cliffs. If you have Nvidia (NarcoSarco) has a video and it kinda works more stable but still crash here and there.
@@johernandez266 when it crashes, it crashes in bunches. Always close by doing almost the same things. Inventory interaction. Its frustrating. Right now it's been a solid 1 hour so that I've been able to play but the majority of that was spent away from the base. I'm saving everytime I do anything in the base. And sometimes it crashes trying to do that Haha. Game is so unstable its ridiculous.
As far as frame generation- I cant even turn it on. It just says it's not supported, for whatever reason that is. I do have Nvidia so I'll have to check that out.
I personally haven't had any crashes at all and I think it's because I turned off fluid interaction but you do have the small rocks floating randomly. I usually have about 156 fps by turning off the clouds and upping the gamma to 2.8.

Because I try to give the most accurate information when it comes to Ark guides and I want to see what our viewers are dealing with that play official. I learned a long time ago that youtubers that play only on their own servers have no clue about many things like them picking up tames and putting them in their traps in their base and such, just to find out that pve players don't have that option. Or some things you can do on unofficial or single player but it won't work on official. Things like this.
