I don’t understand how there are people who immediately say this is fake with the video showing all the police and first responders, the paramedics in the ambulance, the panic in their voices, and the sheriffs sergeant passing away at the hospital. People must be really sick to even entertain the idea of this being fake. Usually after talking t someone for a few minutes, they will begin to calm down. Not only that but she was former military so I would expect her to remember those kinds of details. I was woken up this morning by an emergency text from my university reporting on the tragic events that took place last night. It is so upsetting to see people calling out fake news when everyone around me is on high alert making sure that their friends and loved ones are okay. Many families woke up without loved ones today. Many of the people here that are claiming this is all fake weren’t there. Accusations can be thrown left and right but at the end of the day we’ve lost lives. My condolences to those families.

He came in through a choke point, the narrow door. It's much easier to see shadows from the door because it's a choke point You're a moron. What have you done in life to be awarded an opinion? Someone with a firearm inside would have been able to engage the guy much better because they're already inside, they know what to shoot at, and unlike the cop being exposed and at a choke point, untill the shooter sees the pistol, there is not many things that are exposing the lawful gun carrier except his position, where the shooter is looking at, cover, light exposure and other things. All things that can be fixed with moving. And that's one of the fundamentals they teach at concealed carry classes. You aren't entitled to an opinion by any means because you know literally nothing at all. Zero knowledge on using firearms, outside of airsoft and video games to be specific, and don't know how a firefight plays out.

I don’t understand how there are people who immediately say this is fake with the video showing all the police and first responders, the paramedics in the ambulance, the panic in their voices, and the sheriffs sergeant passing away at the hospital. People must be really sick to even entertain the idea of this being fake. Usually after talking t someone for a few minutes, they will begin to calm down. Not only that but she was former military so I would expect her to remember those kinds of details. I was woken up this morning by an emergency text from my university reporting on the tragic events that took place last night. It is so upsetting to see people calling out fake news when everyone around me is on high alert making sure that their friends and loved ones are okay. Many families woke up without loved ones today. Many of the people here that are claiming this is all fake weren’t there. Accusations can be thrown left and right but at the end of the day we’ve lost lives. My condolences to those families.

This is 5 minutes from my house, I used to go dancing there every week. My sister could hear the gunshots last night but wasn't sure where it was coming from. We woke up to concerned texts from friends and family. Ask anyone, this sort of thing doesn't happen in Thousand Oaks. We are all shocked and heartbroken at this news.

This is when multiple people storm the room and each take a quadrant and only search for that quadrant. He was with only one other cop. He came in through a choke point, the narrow door. It's much easier to see shadows from the door because it's a choke point You're a moron. What have you done in life to be awarded an opinion? I'm a paramedic, I've seen shootings and the pattern. I'm also in the military as a combat medic, I know how to clear rooms. The cop got shot because he was at a disadvantage. Someone with a firearm inside would have been able to engage the guy much better because they're already inside, they know what to shoot at, and unlike the cop being exposed and at a choke point, untill the shooter sees the pistol, there is not many things that are exposing the lawful gun carrier except his position, where the shooter is looking at, cover, light exposure and other things. All things that can be fixed with moving. And that's one of the fundamentals they teach at concealed carry classes. You aren't entitled to an opinion by any means because you know literally nothing at all. Zero knowledge on using firearms, outside of airsoft and video games to be specific, and don't know how a firefight plays out.
