Caltrans is a F'N JOKE. They are really milking their stimulus kickbacks and screwing up roads and freeways and jacking up commutes deliberately when not necessary.

I worked at this Mall from Summer of 2015 up until Summer of this year. I was working at Macy's up until Feb 2020 and worked briefly at the Nordstrom this past summer and quit in August of this year. I saw a marked decline of customers over the years. Quite sad to see how many stores inside are closing down and nothing is going back in its place. I have been going to this mall since the early 2000s and it has completely changed since then. They used to have so many cool stores, Game keeper, a huge McDonalds, a pizza place, a candy store, video game stores and others I cant remember. Its a shell of what it used to be thats for sure. In my opinion its no longer a family oriented mall its more of a place you go to buy one or two things then leave. The food court is garbage compared to what it used to be like. I feel like in 10 years or less it will be like the Simi Town Center, a ghost town with a couple restaurants and 20-30 closed storefronts.

I used to be a mall rat, because I dated a girl who worked at Estee Lauder in thy make-up department.
I'll be heading down that way tomorrow, from San Francisco. My mom lives very close to Glendale, so I'll be visiting for Christmas.
I couldn't take all the Christmas music blasting at that mall...I'd go insane haha!

That's a beautiful area and a very nice mall you're in, thanks for the tour. Are you sure that was a giant rat on the 405 and not a local politician trying to escape? Was a really nice indoor mall near me and I used to walk there, take kids, etc. As of about 5 years ago it's become the most unsafest place around. I think all malls are just dying, especially after last year. Sorry you guys are still wearing masks out there. Yes an awful lot of real estate just sitting. A ton of houses on the market by me, an unusual number. Fun going to the mall with you!
