thank you so much! this is exactly what i was looking for because it's very expensive to get hair colored anywhere. i'd rather do it myself than look for someone who can't understand the effect that i want for my hair =p thank you!!!

the "balayage" technique is a method of free-handedly painting on color to the hair- without the use of foils; it gives a more natural effect if using standard colors- if using unnatural colors like the video, it gives a more blended effect. And yes "balayage" is pronounced how you spelled it in your question :) if you want to see other variations of balayage just search "balayage highlights" OR "balayage lowlights"on google images

Love this! I wish I had seen this before I did the pink ombré last month. It turned out well but I would love to have put some dimension in there.

    ALSO
in this video, he uses foils to separate the color so it doesn't bleed onto the other parts of the hair that he doesn't want colored

Would really of liked to see the back as well. But beautiful results, what we did see.

+morgan johnson there is no set proportions for the condition..you just mix it in until it's the color you like :)

I love your way of doing an ombre.

IN WHAT PROPORTIONS DO YOU MIX THE CONDITIONER WITH THE COLOR? (and what conditioner do you use?) I am a new to the industry, but fully licensed stylist & I haven't mixed conditioner with any color before and am wondering how to mix it so that i can still get the color i want to achieve. Thanks!

Quick question could you possibly do the stamping technique to make it more vibrant or to last in the hair a little bit longer. Also why did you choose to use conditioner versus the white ink?

oh and i have a question haha - since it's going to be different in coloring darker hair (my hair is black), what would you advise? should i bleach my hair the same way and then color it pink after? thanks!! =D

Do u have something of an after foto? The lighting is very yellow and you can't really see the results, which is really a shame cuzz I love your technique.
