Watched Lady Blood fight this week end and like Amy says its as much about caring for the characters as how good the martial arts are. I found myself rooting for Amy's character and that made it much more exciting and I felt really invested. It may not be the best film but it did make me care, a bit like when the widow in the last Boyka film says "are you trying to save me" and he replies "No, I'm trying to save myself". I almost started crying when he said that.

I love the fight scene you two had in accident man. After the first matrix a lot of Hollywood action movies give women this specific style. They “fight like a girl”. While in the fight Amy adjusts to the size difference she doesn’t “fight like a girl” she fights like a martial artist. I think there needs to be more of this!

Scott is hands down my favorite fighter in movies but he is also probably my favorite actor in general anything he is in is a must watch and amy johnson is the bomb so this is a great episode. It's wonderful to see the two people doing a fight scene commenting on several different takes of it. One rarely sees the multiple takes, and one rarely sees both performers commenting.
I have seen Amy in making's of and stunt double, but I never knew she had done these films. I will be checking them out and love the fact we have new blood coming up and we can get some action back to how good it used to be. Will only really work when these guys and girls get to direct second unit, including camera shots, editing along with the choreography. A pleasure to listen to Amy's Martial Art's origins and progression, I certainly see some Cythina Rothrock
Amy is a total badass! I agree with Scott that seeing her shatter the perception of the smaller female is amazing! Love seeing her just destroy opponents and her Accident Man scene will always be classic.
I love Amy Johnston. Lady Blood Fist was my first introduction to Amy and it is an awesome fight flick. One of my favorites. Its basically Bloodsport with chicks and they don't hold back in the violence either. She should be in so much more films. Get her in some more of your projects Scott!
