Our gratitude to Ray Brown, for lifting her back up to revive her career. In her bio, we learn that without bassist Ray's efforts to connect her to the media again, these performances would not be.
Monty is a delight, as usual.

Ernestine Anderson one of the all time greatest, thankfully over the years got to see her a number of time in concert and nothing finer, even in to her eighties she could blow the blues like nobody's business, in venues large and small always a phenomenal experience enjoying the legendary lady whose career spanned many decades, love this great performance!

my friend...she so loved the music and her audiences. She honored all the musicians she worked with...she is a great loss to our jazz community.

So, who and where is the guitar player? His or her amp is waiting. Was Herb Ellis on this concert?
