And she also could not accept that she wanted the 'bad boy' and tried to convince herself otherwise. Really did a number on Dean. I can still cut her some slack at this stage. We learn about consequences and accountability when we do stupid stuff. In Rory's case, I guess it's still 'work in progress'...

SEE! This is the difference between Rory/Dean and Jess/Rory. With Dean, All he did was freak out, not be supportive and think about the possibility of him and Rory breaking up. While Jess was calm and looked up how far Yale was from Stars Hollow with the confidence in his and Rory’s relationship. He was very supportive with Rory going to college.

Rory isn't good enough for anyone she's dated. She slept with married men, stole yachts, betrayed her mother and did not do so great in life either. Yeah, she read books and wrote some stupid articles. And then what? At least Dean got married (again), had children, Jess wrote a book, Logan's running his father's business in London and is engaged, everyone's moved on but Rory who, in the revival, is wondering around like an aimless halfwit, homeless and carefree. Not the Rory we were promised. Dean was too good for her. Too good.
