I also recently read (listened to) this part. I was pretty shocked when I only heard the title.
Everything went so well for one whole book and a half, and I was hoping it would continue like this, but I had the feeling, it might change soon.
I expected, it would be related to Badagadi, since he's still missing.
Then I was relieved that it might just be some expected change in his life.

And we saw Hitogami in 2nd Turning point also o.o
Well we first saw hitogami in tp1 we saw hik again since before donut time
TP2 also led to him losing eris
Turning points 1 and 2 are both related to Nanahoshi
This give credit to the "Nanahoshi f* up while testing magic circles" theory.

I gotta say, my respects for taking into consideration so many variables for predictions, all 3 scenarios are interesting (or 4... maybe 5? lol). I know some anime-only that, even at this point, have already forgotten certain characters or past events and also having a a TP in the middle of the season/cour only increases the unpredictability.
We'll see what happens next, the only thing we can be sure of is: PEAK FICTION SUNDAY.
Even though I went back numerous times throughout season 1 and season 2 I still feel like I miss certain details. For one, Hitogami went over my head because it's been so long since the Man God appeared in Rudy's dreams. I will be going back through more scenes with him because I forgot that he told Rudeus NOT to go to the Begaritt continent.
As a LN reader I can't confirm nor deny these predictions 😂

I think the most likely one would be Paul or Geese contacting Rudy to come to Begaritt for help.
I'd also guess that Rudy also has another dream with the Man God to give him advice on going to meet up with Paul/Geese too, maybe also advice running him back into Eris and Ghislaine while traveling or something
It's kinda hinted in the OP that Rudy basically leaves and it would make sense that Sylphie has to stay and protect Ariel in Ranoa.

Good predictions... I completely left out the ManGod because it never crossed my mind (aka I forgot about him). Now going back through the ManGod scenes again it will be interesting to see why he doesn't want Rudy going down to the continent of Begaritt.
It's interesting how we both came up with almost the exact same predictions/theories, like even the one about a second mana disaster. I also thought that TP3 could be Eris' reintroduction into the story, since Ruijerd seemed to have changed Rudy's view on that whole situation a few episodes ago, therefore perhaps warranting another interaction between Rudy and Eris (which is why I think it could make sense), but I honestly feel like it's a bit too early for that so I think we'll probably have to wait till at least season 3 until that happens. Otherwise someone we also haven't seen in awhile is the Man-God. I think it's entirely possible that the Man-God could trigger the turning point by instructing Rudy to do something/meet someone, which would change the course of the story in some way. Although, I agree that the most likely prediction is probably that Rudy is in some way going to want to join Paul's party in the search for Zenith. I also wanted to mention that it would be very interesting, as you said, if some sort of political plot or war surrounding Princess Ariel would take place simultaneously, making the choice of what to do harder for Rudy, since he'd then probably be separated from Sylphie who'd feel obligated to fight for Ariel.
Edit: One last thing I want to throw out there is that it's possible Sylphie may become pregnant. Just throwing that possibility out there.

Turning points always comes out of nowere, you can never predict them, but they also alaways feel so natural afterwards, as if it could never have been any other way.
With no spoilers I can say that the first two make sense, since he needs to get there somehow, and we know from the op that he does. So I think your predictions are fun and hope that you maybe to some for future episodes and plot predictions. Would be alot of fun, because the amazing thing of reading MT for me was that you never knew what would happen but most of the times something did happen you had an "ahh" moment because it was setup so well
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed the predictions. Early on I decided to not watch the new OP quite yet, but due to a small hint in a PV I assumed that to be the case. Moving forward I continue to do my predictions but will be avoiding any additional PV's so I can try to base my predictions completely on speculations and previous anime content!

This episode probably won't seem like much of a turning point at first. The actual pivotal event probably won't occur until 1-2 episodes later, but this episode will set things in motion toward that event.
Also, if you want to be more precise with your predictions, there's a lot you can infer from the opening.
Now having watched TP3 I can see what you mean. Just going based off initial impact within the episode it lacked compared to the 1st and 2nd one. However, I saw another comment stating it was like a "poison" so I'll keep that in mind while watching.
Also I have yet to see the opening (besides the first few seconds) due to the spoilers it contains.
It would be hella fun if we got the episode title at the start of the episode.

*Episode TP3 Spoilers...
In this case, start the beginning with Rudeus going through his day to day in Ranoa. Him spending time with Sylphie, Norn, and Aisha (shopping, tutoring etc). Then the letter arrives. He doesn't read it but you can tell Rudeus is visibly concerned. The beginning OP ends with Rudeus sitting on his porch contemplating what to do.
(That's just my take)
the downside of having Rudeus or magicians in general fight in a battle where armies with thousands of people is that AOE big land-leveling spells also affect allied troops. SO you cant spam your ult without killing a bunch of your allies in the process
And even though they are effective against many, a single melee elite can take them down if they manage to get close enough.
True... Rudeus would have to use more precision spells like his Rock Bullets or use his quagmire spell to level the other side of the battlefield.

Without spoiling anything, all the turning points throughtout the story can be understood better when finishing the story. True, they were turning points in the life of Rudeus Greyrat, but there were way bigger implications with each turning point.
Once the story is fully animated, it might be fun to go back and examine very turning point and piece it together with how the story finishes.

Turning Point 2 only had major influence in one character, Eris. Turning Point 2 for her specifically was really a divider of waters in terms of her motivations and goals. She was the one whose fate most "turned" in turning point 2.
Turning point 2 also indirectly gave Rudues ED because of Eris's decision, Rudues learned how to use distrub magic, Learned about nanahoshi because of TP2. I'd say it affected Rudues equally

Why predict when the there is already an answer? The LNs are already complete.

the mana disaster was visible from the ground a gigantic ball of energy in the sky. Sauros says he saw it first time 3 years ago. So Nanahoshi making something like that happen with her magic circles is honestly pretty redicilous theory.
Well as far as Rudy knew that's what happened.
When tp1 happened bananahoshi appeared. So ye maybe summoning causes it to happen.
Some of my theories may be ridiculous and reach certain caveats of the story mainly because of how unpredictable this series can be.
