It’s probably not going to be super snappy because it is a family invert but who knows. We also haven’t seen it in testing yet so it could be really snappy
@@MidwayMayhemChannel Ive been about 4 times in the last couple of weeks and am blown away by the progress. The first time i went for the season the lift hill was barely up.
That fits the area nicely. The blue is a nice contrast. Wish supports were orange, but guess Scorpion is orange. Looks cool though. Interesting drop. Nice to see the skyride open again.
My god B&M are making a killing with these family coasters. Nothing will solidify this skyline better than a B&M Giga then this park will it’s one two punch.
@@MidwayMayhemChannel Yep that’s all this park would need to be honest. With the giga if they went that direction AND NOT FROM B&M. Something like Hyperia from Mack rides will do or give intamin a chance. It’s kinda odd to have almost your entire lineup to be B&M coasters not taking anything away from them they make fantastic rides but they are other manufacturers out there. lol🙄🙄🙄🙄🙄lol. BGT should go with RMC say can we get a really high capacity, single rail, coaster? One of those will work well for BGT as well
I was so glad when they finally reopened the sky ride. Back in my less responsible days, my friends and I would call it " the high ride ". That ride would be many starts of good days at Busch Gardens. Oh, to be young again.
Will be great for the area. One more family/thrilling flat would be perfect. Like a Nebula. Call it sand storm and paint it the old colors as an homage. And ofcourse put the theatre back to use.
next time you visit the park, it might be worth your time to take the train, and check the backside of the park for survey markers around Jungala and Congo
That was an awesome view of Phoenix rising. That maybe even better than a skyride view In my opinion. But from the view of the skyride, the drop looks awesome. It looks like a funky double down. I think it would be nice in the years coming if my home park Six Flags fiesta Texas can get one of these b&M family coaster to give us that fourth b&M. 😍😍 I can see it right in the back of the park.
The winds yesterday and earlier today were BAD BAD. Wind advisory most of the day. I'll just say this, another florida park I work had things downed because of it.
Just remember the seats will swing with the ride and it will have on-board music. It's only 1800ft of track, but just a family coaster. What I'm most curious about is how much better will it be compared to Vekoma family Suspended coasters. Edit: without a doubt, jungala is next for an update with new ride and life. Build "Python Returns" or "Pythons Revenge" and make it a mack extreme spinning coaster.
I have seen and heard a lot of criticism about whether this ride will be good. Everyone needs to remember it replaced a wild mouse so no matter what its an upgrade. personally I am ready to ride this coaster.
I mean this looks really good and fun. My kids keep asking me if its open yet. But I'm questioning a few things now. 1 train ops forst of all. Would be nice if they had 2 trains one to load while one on the course and a 3rd in a shed as a backup. Also the color scheme I love blue as a color but a phoenix rising from ashes shouldn't it be black and red?
Gonna miss the kid ride area a little, The airplanes, motorcycles, and train. That was a good little area. Now there's not many options in the park for the kids.
Still sooo confused by the color scheme. I think the same colors as Banshee or similar would hace fit better. Still excited to ride this with my kids this fall, though!
@@ArchJ17 okay I should’ve been more clear. I’m referring to the coasters past Tigris. Iron Gwazi is purple and themed to Alligators, and now a ride about a phoenix has the colors of Manta.
Those transitions look WICKED snappy!!!
Just the way we like em.
It’s probably not going to be super snappy because it is a family invert but who knows. We also haven’t seen it in testing yet so it could be really snappy
I was thinking the same thing... looks real 'punchy'!
They got this ride up QUICK! Wow!
It's crazy how fast!
@@MidwayMayhemChannel Ive been about 4 times in the last couple of weeks and am blown away by the progress. The first time i went for the season the lift hill was barely up.
What an interesting first drop. Almost like a huge old-school “B&M bump” then a falling curve.
Really impressed with how fast this came together
They’re pros at building B&Ms now 😂
welcome back Dan. Great to have you back
Thank you!
Bro went on Falcon's Fury just to get shots of Phoenix Rising. Pure dedication.
Trying to get all the angles!
@@MidwayMayhemChannel I’m going back in May, is Phoenix Rising going to be open?
@NL2Designs2826 it's sounding more likely a June opening. 🫠
@@HondaTurboToysWell, it's June and idk if it started testing.
Can we talk about 1:11 real quick 😂😂 unexpected moment
A bird cameo! 😆
That’s crazy. Never seen one of them before
Wow great video. Super cinematic shots with beautiful views of Phoenix Rising. 👍👍
Thanks a lot!
I feel like I blinked and track work was finished!
For real!

Nothing like hearing your Legendary voice on these vlogs!
Glad you enjoy! 😆

Dang! I was there today too. Bummer I didn't see you. The coaster is coming along nicely and looks like it will be fun. Cheers!
Maybe next time!
I think you, myself and my wife are the only ones that call flamingos pink chickens lol
There are others, you are not alone.
@@MidwayMayhemChannel pink chickens....unite! Lol
The trend is catching on. 😁
No I call them pink chickens too
Awesome update, as usual!

Definitely will hit it up next time!
Wow this was an action packed episode. Excellent!
Exciting news!
Niice, Cant Wait! Thnx, for the Updates!
You bet!
we were just there on Sunday, can't believe how much they got done in just a few days!
They are definitely working fast!

I’m heading to busch gardens tomorrow :>
That's awesome!
Omg it's so damn beautiful.
Can't wait to ride this ride in November when i visit from uk great update Dan
Thank you!
Wooo I get to see my pink chickens in two videos today, Yours and the ones in Abu Dabai as well.
Wow nice!
It feels like this completed the tracks faster before good gravy
FYI, train 1 on Kumba is running great! It just came out of refurbishment in March!
Good to know!
The winds yesterday and earlier today were BAD BAD. Wind advisory most of the day. I'll just say this, another florida park I work had things downed because of it.
The initial drop on phoenix rising is so strange
Definitely different!
Also rode Kumba when it was new. Yeah im old.
We remember that!

Wow they built that in 6 weeks
The coaster looks great. However, I am sad that they removed The Phoenix looping starship. That is my most favourite flat ride.
Was a good one!

They had to complete it yesterday because I was there
Think this makes it total 9 B&Ms for Sea World and Busch now.
Hopefully the 10ths a Giga 😅🎉
Wild Surge caught fire. That's why it closed.
So where’s the queue line gonna fit? Not much area to work with there.
I now noticed why they named it Halcyon. It's a bird and its colors match the ride colors
It's also a hallucinogenic drug that causes uphoria in technicolor.
Geez the purple is pretty much gone on IG 😂
I was there 7th April Sunday it was not much happening
So did they replace Scorpion with Phoenix Rising?
Testing is next
Holy shit literally like weeks ago they only had a lift hill tf!!!!
Can this park make a coaster with a theme that makes sense? Damn
Cheetah hunt and cobras curse?
@@ArchJ17 okay I should’ve been more clear. I’m referring to the coasters past Tigris. Iron Gwazi is purple and themed to Alligators, and now a ride about a phoenix has the colors of Manta.
Why is the track blue though?
Fan of the low to the ground direction of many new coasters. Relative speed feels great. Einstein agrees.
I keep forgetting this ride is meant for families. 😅
Where’s Sand Serpent
(chat how do we tell him)
Ermm
Burrowed in the sand, where else? 😉
Is it a Family ride? I'd doesn't look like much. Can't see how it will out do Montu. Still my Favorite Ski Lift ride. Then Raptor.
Its called an invert not "ski lift ride"
Also it is a family coaster
