I love inverted roller coasters. Hearing the loud roar of the passing trains when you walk past them, something about it just makes me love them even more.
Fun fact: Kumba means “roar” in Swahili. It’s very aptly named because it’s the loudest in the park. It’s all the way in the back of the park and on days where the park is emptier, you can hear it from the entrance.
It's a actually loud because they didn't fill the track with sand which is an industry practice as I understand it. So the track is hollow which makes the loud noise.
After having lived going to Busch Gardens as well as previously working there, I will always love cheetah hunt. It’s got a charm to it that none of the other rides do. It’s got calmer parts, the launch, the tall view of the entire park. It’s just incredible to me.
Kumba seem to be the evergreen coaster. It’s always good. Not the biggest, fastest, or fanciest, and it’s getting on in years, but it still rides great.
Kumbas showing her age but still a great ride. Rode her for the first time at 9 yeara old. My 3rd coaster and 1st big one (after Scorpion n Python) had to wait to be tall enough
I found myself tilting every once in a while in anticipation of the turns and loops. I love your videos. Makes it feel like I'm really riding the coasters! Maybe I'll be brave enough to ride them some day.
I recommend asking questions about speed, amount of loops, and people's opinions before riding so you know what to expect and if you wanna actually ride! For instance, some could seem HORRIFYING but are actually 40 mph and not very intense! Also, after getting used to the rides, the stomach feeling goes away, trust me!
I know I’m probably the only person, but I have to turn the volume down. I love hearing how the rollercoaster sounds (with the tracks, the cars and air) and how the people are squealing and all I hear is him yelling out obvious things: “ohhh! A loop-dee-loop!” Umm…yeah dude, we know. We’re watching the POV! I’m glad he’s excited. I’m super glad he enjoys himself! More power to him. But I can’t help thinking this hurts his videos instead of helping them because you don’t get an authentic feel with all the commentary. I find myself going to other channels to look at rollercoaster POVs. Which is a bummer because his video work is stellar!!!
To anyone scared to go on roller coasters, I recommend Cobras Curse. Last year I was tremendously afraid of roller coasters and finally decided to go on cobras curse. The scariest part was waiting in the line and ascending in the elevator. After that, it was so much fun and thrilling but not too scary.

I know I’m responding 2 years later but all I have to say is that Iron Gwazi has been the most intimidating ride I’ve gone on in Busch Gardens. It’s also my favorite ride of all of them.
Scorpion was one of my first coasters ever, all the way back on a field trip in the 7th grade. My best friend at the time and I rode every coaster in the park, and pretty much broke my fear of roller coasters completely. And now as I an adult, I'm scared of them again for no reason 😅
@@Psyduck2005 My best friend helped me thru it but after the first mid-grade coaster (we were at Busch Gardens Tampa, so the coaster in this case was Scorpion) my adrenaline was going in such a way where I was excited for more rather than scared.
My first ever intense coaster in this park was cheetah hunt and i would like to point out that it's not that scary the only part I kinda worry about is the second launch where u go straight up at like 60 mph but the rest of the ride feels like ur zooming through the edge of Africa like a cheetah. Pretty good ride this is why I love Busch gardens
Ride announcer in the booth said you'd "feel the sting of the scorpion". Haha. In the 80s, it was mind-blowing when BG introduced that big boat that swung back & forth. I forget the name.
We went to Busch Gardens about 4 years ago. Rode everything and had a wondrous time! We rode Cheetah Run early in the day and a few trains before us was this large bodybuilder type person who when sitting in the seat kept yelling "cuz it's fast as a cheetah!" a few times right before they were launched. We all laughed and damned if a couple people in the next train started yelling that and then the train right before us and then once we were about to launch of course we yelled at too. 5-6 hours later as we came back around near Cheetah Run you could hear people yelling "because it's fast as a cheetah!!!" at the top of their lungs right before their train launched. Good stuff.
You make the best coaster pov's. Props for that! But please talk 50%-60% less while riding. You don't have to comment every single turn on the coaster. We all got it, you love coasters. 😊
It’s not really that bad to where you have to comment about it I bet if you was him you would be talking as well so leave my boy alone for have the time of his life damn people like you are so ungrateful this man is making bangers and you getting annoyed about him talking like chill out
Keep in mind that much of these coasters are higher than they look on camera. For example Cobra’s Curse (8:25) (One of my favorite coasters for kids who want to kick it up a notch) has a 70ft main drop which looks much smaller on camera but if you are scared just remember that the feeling of your stomach dropping only lasts for a second or two. 😁
It is the best ride ever made. I cannot express how much I love it. It is better than every ride at the park, if not better than any ride in the world. First off: The themeing Is immaculate. The sandy landscape adds so much to the feel of the ride. I can describe another ride that does this in a way Air Grover does. Second of all, the presentation. The way the beautiful green track weaves in and out of itself and the way the airplane themed trains smoothly glide across it is truly stunning. And finally, the ride experience. It is an exhilarating experience full of dips, dives, helixes, and turns. The forces are strong and bold, and give a unique character to the ride. You will experience amazing moments of positives, airtime, hang time, and acceleration and it truly is so satisfying and fun to go on. In conclusion, Air Grover is an amazing addition to Busch Gardens Tampa Bay and shall remain as the best coaster in the world.

I love BGT!! It seems like they don't have the uber standout coaster (until Iron Gwazi opens), but has a solid collection with no real fillers. BGT is the definition of quality over quantity. But BGT quietly and arguably has the best invert (Montu) and best dive coaster (Shiekra) in America. Kumba is still one of my favorites and night rides on it are awesome! I seriously think it's getting more intense as it ages. After recently riding it, I got off it thinking WTF, that was more intense than Montu. So I rode back row on both again and i stand by my conclusion. When Iron Gwazi opens (March 2022), the lineup will be insane! Sea World Orlando is my homepark, but I'm happy Sea World owns Busch Gardens.
It always was more intense than Montu. Even back in the day. I think people have this expectation that Montu will be scarier because it lacks a floor. But Khumba is faster with much tighter turns and a frankly painful slow down in the middle.
ive ridden many of these coasters, and Kumba is definitely the scariest in my opinion! 7 loops, super loud, and quite rough and fast. scorpion is definitely a good one to ride as your first rollercoaster! (I wish I knew that, Kumba was my first one…) but don’t even get me started on Tigris, that thing still terrifies me to this day. SHEIKRA IS FOREVER MY FAVORITE!
I went to Busch Gardens Tampa many years ago as a kid. I was too small to ride most of these, so it’s definitely a bucket list to get back and ride all of these. (Though I might skip the wild mouse coaster.)

Kumba was the first roller coaster my oldest daughter rode (front row! Made mama proud!). The first for the younger three was Scorpion. My first roller coaster was also at Busch Gardens Tampa….the long gone Python.
Omg personally as a person that lives 25 min away from bush gardens I can just tell yiu how amazing the park is I been there many time and it so much fun
The Tigris is literally The Tempesto from Williamsburg and they just changed the color and the name of the ride. The motion is the same tho. Great work on this!!
Man it's like sitting next to Quagmire....whhoooaa.....here we go......Into the tunnel.........final screw.......how you doin?.......whooaaa! Just imagine a Peter griffin laugh and PG saying "Kumba" at the end and you've nailed it. Rode the Kumba back in Sept '93 it was awesome, going back in Nov but I'm a bit too old for those rides now lol.
Since I haven’t been to busch gardens in 4 years because of Covid, I finally get the chance to revisit on spring break, and here I am watching these videos to get me excited
Love this! I had passes to busch gardens growing up and i was a total adrenaline junkie. I loved riding the coasters. I eventually had to stop riding kumba and gawzi from how rough they are but the montu will always be my favorite. I wish i could ride them like i use to be able to but my body just cant handle all that anymore.
We go to cedar point Sandusky Ohio. Last time i was at Busch gardens Tampa was when I lived there as a teenage Kumba was just built in 1993. I want to go back so badly! Great video Thank You❤️
Scorpion has always been the perfect first coaster. Then Cheetah Hunt, Tigris, Kuumba, SheiKra, Montu. Iron Gwazi will probably alot in after Cheetah Hunt.
My fave is the montu but cheetah is good to sence it was the first upside down ride I have ever been on sheirika is one of my faves to i never got to go on the iron gwaxi sence the line was soooo big but I will try this year bushe gardens is soooo fun omg i go with my gra d pa and grand ma every year and always try and do as many rides as possible
I went to Busch gardens for my sixth grade field trip this past year, and I will say, cheetah hunt is not a good first ride- I hadn’t ridden a rollercoaster in idk how long and then I just went for it on cheetah hunt. One of the scariest, but one of the best! I feel like if I did it towards the end of the trip, I would’ve liked it better though. My all time favorite was Kumba, and it was hilarious because after a good solid minute of just climbing, I started to get more and more nervous when we still weren’t dropping- we didn’t have time for rides like sheikra, montu, or iron gwazi. I ended up backing out of montu last second and stayed back with the chaperone, but I kind of regret not going on it! I was a bit queasy about sheikra anyways so I’m not complaining! I was so scared of the loop de loops but when I went on my first (the scorpion), it was so fun I went on it again! But I’m glad I got to experience it first because it really helped me love kumba even more. I’m excited to go back!
it is rough as hell let me tell you, i went on it today and i injured my left arm in that last turn. wasn't anything serious but it definetly hurt a lot

imagine being on a roller coaster and the guy next to you says “LOOP DE LOOP! ZERO G STALL!, COBRA ROLL” “INTO THE TUNELLLLLL” the whole time
TWISTY, TWISTY, TWISTY
The scorpion ride was actually my first loop roller coaster in fact first roller coaster
Is it a lap bar that’s supporting you or a shoulder bar
Thank u so much for that like
@@gjrosas88 Oh you’re welcome :D
It took time to go on that one for me I went on the cheetah hunt before the scorpion
im going to bush gardens as a eighth grade field trip. i was terrified before watching this. now im so excited to go and i cant wait to go!!!!
Omg personally as a person that lives 25 min away from bush gardens I can just tell yiu how amazing the park is I been there many time and it so much fun
I love this park a lot. I hope iron gwazi opens soon
I heard that it's finally set to open next year in March. :)
Thanks! I can’t wait to ride it soon!
I don’t like riding roller coasters but I love these kinds of videos
The Tigris is literally The Tempesto from Williamsburg and they just changed the color and the name of the ride. The motion is the same tho. Great work on this!!
Yeah I noticed the same thing right when it played hahah
Man it's like sitting next to Quagmire....whhoooaa.....here we go......Into the tunnel.........final screw.......how you doin?.......whooaaa! Just imagine a Peter griffin laugh and PG saying "Kumba" at the end and you've nailed it. Rode the Kumba back in Sept '93 it was awesome, going back in Nov but I'm a bit too old for those rides now lol.
Well it was kinda frustrating to keep it muted but yeah, but much lol glad he’s having fun though
Since I haven’t been to busch gardens in 4 years because of Covid, I finally get the chance to revisit on spring break, and here I am watching these videos to get me excited
I’ve been on all of the coasters, and I think my favorite is Iron Gwazi
My favourite too, The most intense one I have been on in my life so far! It’s so freaking fun!!
That pink one looks so beautiful and cute 🥺🥰
I went to Busch Gardens today. I went on the Cheetah Hunt ride and my tears were literally *forced out of my eyes*.
This park is truly underrated, the best park in Florida.
I loved the Sand Serpent, especially the part when I was jumping up and down on the last part
It’s fun but really slow, I still like it tho
Scorpion was my first loop roller coaster!
It was for alot of people
“Let’s kick some sky” 😂
Woah thanks for doing these videos keep up the good work
I love his enthusiasm and love for coasters. I wish I had someone to ride with me…
His enthusiasm is annoying
@@onyx__4889 One might say it’s oddly polarizing
Nice to see that iron gwazi left you speechless
First coaster video I've ever watched with commentary.
The older rides at BG are really well designed. Even the slow ones are genuinely fun because the elements are well placed for maximum enjoyment.
Cobras curse is such a cool ride tbh. The story and all
I dream to be as happy as this guy
My fave is the montu but cheetah is good to sence it was the first upside down ride I have ever been on sheirika is one of my faves to i never got to go on the iron gwaxi sence the line was soooo big but I will try this year bushe gardens is soooo fun omg i go with my gra d pa and grand ma every year and always try and do as many rides as possible
I wonder if the “Sklooshing on Sheikra” song made it to #1 on iTunes
Only 2nd to "We are on a log flume."
Might be be best park hands down. Never been and don’t even live in Florida but these are pretty good
As much as I love this man, I could never imagine sitting next to him.
I love how he narrates what's happening while he's riding 😆
Not gonna lie. Air Grover looks very intimidating. I’ve ridden many coasters but idk if I could do that one.
How it’s easy asf
cheetah hunt is a masterpiece but it needs retrack on that very last turn, it looks rough as hell
it is rough as hell let me tell you, i went on it today and i injured my left arm in that last turn. wasn't anything serious but it definetly hurt a lot
I love the enthusiasm for a kids coaster, It's intense, It's Air Grover! LOL
