Been doing that with mica powders for years, it's beautiful and I use it to make my own background papers. Usually set with hairspray but water works too, just spray a fine mist.
TYSM for sharing these wonderful technique variations with the mica powders! The cards turned out beautiful! One question, would it work as another technique to heat emboss the stamped image with versamark ink and embossing powder, then powder over the heat embossed image with mica powders, then reheat gently to embed the mica powder in the heat embossed image, then fluffy brush over to remove the unstuck mica powder from the image? This has always been an idea I have thought to try but have not done yet. 😉🙃😋
I think that would work as long as the embossing powder is still hot/warm and you reheat the embossing powder from underneath the cardstock so that the mica powder doesn't blow away. It's a great idea, and I think you should give it a try! 😉👍
Subtle cards are nice! Very nice.❤🇦🇺
