Another clever idea which I've not seen demonstrated previously. So kind of you to spend hours sharing your vast store of knowledge with us. Thank you.
I second the notion that I truly don't mind your longer videos. This card is a perfect example of a CAS card. Personally, I liked the rubbing of gold wax on the Christmas sentiment better. I have an old rubber stamp almost like yours and I will be giving it a go. Thank you Christine for your lovely inspiration. Have a great weekend.
As always Christine, your cards are beautiful. I never mind the length. Your voice and laughter brighten my day. Thanks for sharing the tips and techniques. Now, on to practicing. Enjoy your weekend ☺️
Thank you so much Christine, I really really enjoyed watching you create this elegant and stylish card. And I really really love ❤️ how it turned out. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
I have nothing new to say as everyone has already expressed their desire to see your work, learn some new techniques, and just listen to you chat with us. Love it. 😊
Even if you merely want to reiterate what others have written (I'm glad you read other's comments) but even more delighted that you still took the time and trouble to leave a comment yourself. Thank you so much.
I’m very grateful I found your channel. You teach so many processes I’ve never seen. Of course, I’m just starting after retiring from teaching Math at 63…lol I appreciate your not pushing new products. Instead it’s something I can do with similar items I already have. You are EXCELLENT with your explanations!! I also have enjoyed your “chit chat”. I’ve watched a couple videos but haven’t commented much. I’ll definitely check to make sure I hit the like button on each Thank you again for so generously giving us your time and effort to help. Nancy Rolfe Texas
You never fail to amaze me with your ideas! Thank you for another great idea. I have some old pigment posders that I forgot how to use. Thanks for giving me the "push" I need to take them out again.
The length of videos isn't important to me. I enjoy learning new techniques and seeing how you actually create your card and the thought process as you work. I love the grunge gold on black - very elegant. I think that grunge gold is very interesting since it varies from green to gold. I am so glad I bought a bunch of those luscious powders from Indigoblu with the discount but not sure if I got that one! Can't wait for the package to arrive in the US!
Thank you so much Barbara, I plan on doing a few more experiments with the Luscious pigment powders, I think I'll be getting a few more colours!😊 Have fun when your shipment arrives!
So elegant Christine, I love it. You are always so inspirational and I never find your videos too long. I really enjoy listening to you and watching you create such beautiful cards. I am in NZ so getting some crafting products can be difficult and expensive, but I can't wait to be able to try all your wonderful ideas when I can get my crafty hands on some new things. Thank you for sharing with us 💛🌻
What a beautiful card and a wonderful technique. I really love your style of cards. They are fab. It’s a very subtle but elegant effect and looks very chic. Thank you Christine, for another great project. Adding powder around the edge just finishes it off perfectly. Crafty Hugs - Dawn 🌅
Another amazing card. I have some pigment powders that are gathering dust as, other than backgrounds, I didn't do much else with them I do now, thanks to you. Much appreciated 😊
Very pretty, Christine. I have trouble using black card stock: The anti-static powder leaves the background a bit cloudy no matter how hard I try to remove it. I like the look of black so much! Happy weekending!
Looks great! I use the Nuvo sweeper brush all the time, it even brushes stuff off your silicon mats. I use it for everything, and nothing has been contaminated, plus I think it could be antistatic, you will love it! ❤
The electric erasers were originally designed as a drawing tool as an alternative to manual erasers for use when drawing with graphite … they are quite handy for lots of other things though, like with foiling as you mentioned 😊
That’s all I have too (mica powders), so I think I’ll try that as well. Great idea. You have so many fun and doable techniques, Christine. Thanks for sharing them with us.
Christine,I am so hooked on your videos. You explain everything so well and so calmly. I’m thrilled to have found your site. I do have one question ; do you have to heat set the grungy golf powder? Thank you.
Thank you, no it's a pigment powder not an embossing powder. In order to fix it, a fine mist of water is sometimes appropriate, although with Vesamark it's not normally needed.
Great video, Christine. 😊 it’s amazing that the pigment powder stuck to the versa mark. You made this look very easy, I suspect if I did it, when I brushed away the excess powder, I’d brush away the image too 🤣 Thanks for sharing your expertise 😊🤗🤓🙏
Are you charged extra postage in the UK for square cards? I just put my in regular envelopes with another piece of cardstock to avoid the extra charge here in the US but I was curious. I finally started swatching my pigment powders and it's a good thing, too. The colors aren't the same as the labels, the color of the powder, or the colors on the sheet of paper I printed out from the company. I've gotten through about half of them and one is very close to that lovely shade of blue from IndigoBlu you've been using. I have the sweeper brush but forget that I do! I'll have to remember to use it! Great video as always. Long/short, I don't care.
Thank you so much. No the postal rate is the same for square envelopes, but I know that lots of Americans do as you do and put their squars cards into rectangular envelopes with a supporting piece a card. I'm looking forward to my sweeper brush arriving!
Another great video! To me it doesn't matter how long your videos are, I enjoy listening to you and learning! (To me none of them have been overly long.)
Beautiful! I think this is a great technique. Wonder how it would work out with the ranger perfect pearls, I have a bunch of those so I might give it a try. Thanks.
Lovely! I hadn't considered doing the background around the edges before. Thank you. Question- do you set your pigment powder? And if so, what would you recommend?
Very effective and so simple to do when explained in your lovely calm manner. No product envy which is an added bonus, think I have everything I need to produce something similar. Take care. Ex
I saw you use a ATG runner - what tape do you use in it , My orginal ATG is broken and now not sure what tape to use .LOve this card - I have some very old perfect pearls I assume they would work the same ? thank you in advance for all your videos
Beautiful card thank you for sharing. I'm having a problem making this card. I use my anti static powder, then stamp with versamark then put the pigment powder on top. When I go to brush it off it smears the versamark AND powder all over. Any ideas what I'm doing wrong?
I'm not sure what the problem could be. Maybe to much ink? If you make sure that the Versamark is totally covered, by shaking or tapping the card horizontally so that every speck of ink is covered by the powder, then waiting for just a little while before brushing, that may help. Versamark is a very slow drying ink.🙂
Very nice. How long does it take you to make a card? I know you edit but was wondering on an average from concept to actually making the card. Thanks 🤗
It really depends… I can make some cards in just minutes, but others much, much longer. Sometimes a technique for some part of a card can take a really long time then the assembly is quick. There’s no definitive time scale. You could probably get a reasonable idea from my videos. I haven’t always speeded up Heat gun times!😊
I am really enjoying your videos, ideas, and tips. I watched your video on Splitcoast stampers today- so found your channel. Nice work. Warm regards from 🇨🇦Calgary, Alberta🇨🇦
Some pigment powders have no shimmer and are pure colour, mica powders don't usually have as strong colours as regular pigment powders, but you could used mica in a similar way!
I do this technique with Perfect Pearls and use a Swiffer dusting cloth to gently remove the excess powder. Your card is elegant in its simplicity- the gold is lovely. Thanks for sharing, I really enjoy your channel. 🇨🇦
I'd like to share that you can get exactly the same results with no powder to clean up at the end by picking up only a small amount of powder and dusting it over the surface until it all transfers from the bristles. As only a finite amount can stick to the VersaMark anyway, less is more. Try it!
Hi. I did, got it a few months ago after a year or two of agonising and I'm so glad I finally bought one because they're great for detailed work as well as being quick and efficient.
Fabulous card and so easy… I would watch a video of yours if it was 5 hours long, you show it in real time for people like me that have big clumsy hands. I was a pathologist not a surgeon lol… I now fumble because of arthritis….so dropping stuff and getting stuff everywhere is what I do! I can’t put stuff together like you do and you are always stating how clumsy you are lol…….not by a long shot…
I really do not mind how long your videos are, just watching you work, and sharing your ideas is just wonderful. Thanks for a lovely idea.

This is easy and filled with elegance. Thank you for reminding me to use up the shimmer powders 🌹💗🌟

Love this idea and mat I recommend you use hairspray to set the pigment powder as it tends to brush off unless set
Did you see my video where I used hairspray to set colours on my cards? Although pigment powders like Luscious can be set with a mist of water!
Love your tips and ideas❣️

Vesamark is quite a sticky ink. An even stickier one is the Perfect Medium from Perfect Pearls amzn.to/3GvWVDB
