These powders look a lot like the Nuvo Shimmer powder, because they have multiple colours too. The red/gold is soooo beautiful 😍, can't wait to see the cardmaking video.

Wow that powder colour change is mesmerising and fun to work with; I have that tile too 😂, I want some too now. Love the scraps too, I keep all mine and use them to create designs and I use foam sheets to flatten out the warped card, works well. Lockdown is hard but necessary and we try to enjoy each day experimenting with card designs and keeping our minds active, so thank you for your inspiration, stay safe ad well 🤗❤️🇬🇧😘

Oh, how satisfying to play with a product that Ives such wonderful results l home schooled for many years. 3 children and yes you need an outlet. The results on the black background are awesome and the flowers, WOW 🤩 oh, so pretty. If these arrive on our shores l might indulge in a jar or two. Looking forward to part two.

I saw something from JC from the altenew design team. He sprays the back side of the water colour paper then does the same to the right side which he then paints on with the water colour paints. The paper doesn't then curl once wet and dried more evenly.

I love Arteza products. I will have to try these bottles. Love listening to you how happy you are. We have been doing home school for my grandchildren helping my daughter off and on since March when we went into lock down the first time. They are being home schooled right now until at least Jan 19th to we hear from the governor of Michigan.
Cosmic Shimmer Pixie Powders are good fun too, some are multi coloured, some are solid colour powders with mica, I love them for backgrounds and they’re cheap enough for children to create with.
Ive got some of those in my basket as well actually! Amazing what you can find when you know what words to search for! Hoping to get a few more colours from a few more brands to play with!

You could try straightening the black card pieces by running them through a laminator. Beautiful backgrounds Sasha 😍😍

The roses are lovely, and I'm reminded that I have a pack that I bought some years ago and then didn't know what to do with them, so thank you! I think I got mine from The Range, or possibly Wilkinson's.
The powders are fun; I think it's possible to get a similar effect with Brushos and mica powder, which I will try later. 😀
yes it's such a simple idea that we often forget isnt it. So easy to colour them. And yes brushos and mica will get you the same result, though you might need to seal it when done so the mica doesnt flake if it doesnt have a bonding agent. I use hair spray on mine :)
Thank you Sasha great videos, I’m so glad you love the explosion powders. I’m still on the first bottles I ever tested from the first launch 3 years ago.

Think one of my favourites has to be the red on black, these are beautiful powders. Wonder if you can do the starch/clingfilm with these like you can with Brushos? I have some of those flowers from the Range, might try using the Brushos on them.

These powders are stunning! I have to find some. I live in Quebec and we have a curfew, 8pm until 5am we stay home. Can you get black water colour cardstock? Can’t wait for tomorrow!
well if you cant find any in Canada then Craft Stash ship world wide. Though a few people have suggested to me some others that are similar, so if i can remember I will mention them tomorrow in my next video!

I love your excitement! I'm looking forward to tomorrows video, these are beautiful. I really think Mermaid is my favorite. Cupid is a very close second. I need to have papers in hand to make card fronts and backgrounds then put them together for cards... so nice how you save scraps to put them together and not waste any! The strips applied in tiny strips to finish off a card is really lovely. I'm ordering Nuvo adhesive with the tiny tip today. Also, shutting down the UK until March is insane! I'm going to lose my mind for you... girl, you just craft away! I will be so happy to watch and listen and take notes and chat away... how will you all get groceries and supplies you need? Are there essential workers keeping pharmacies, hospitals, service stations, grocery stores, emergency personnel working? The massive shutdown from what I've seen is very extreme and mind boggling. Please be safe and stay healthy. We will be here whenever you can pop on! Girl, you feel free to post long videos if you like, we can pause, stop and start if we need to! Hi Wanda! Saw your message the other day about being a gypsy(?) Gosh how do you craft??? Do you have stuff on the road with you? Our lock down is mild compared to how NZ and Aus did theirs, i think that's why we're on our 3rd bloody one! Everything essential is open, and any shop that sells food is considered essential, so things like the pound shop(dollar store equivalent) is still open, as well as any shops that sell any medicines, so all drug stores and grocery stores. So we still have quite a lot open which seems silly in a lockdown. We're not meant to be out except to go to one of those or for exercise. No seeing friends of any kind or having people in your home. And masks when in any shops.
@@SashaReade oh no, not (paper) crafting right now, however I used to drag quite a lot of paint and supplies with me! My husband would scold that there was no room. I'd still manage to purchase things along the way... I definitely have double and triple now. Bless his bones, he's trying to be diligent in not holding me back. This time I do have markers and pens, a bit of paper for calligraphy. Apparently I can't be reigned in, I love all the things!
In the States, we are pretty open. Most most places "require masks" but no one generally does anything if you're not wearling one. I'm not playing roulette with my life, my Dad- age 90, grands, or my children... just not going there. People are free to be "free" if they want to, but they'll be socially distant even if I'm free to be ugly to make it happen. I really do value my family and loved ones lives more than my own. I will not take chances. My cities hospital is about 4 blocks from my house, its full of Covid-19 patients. ICU is full in 5 surrounding cities hospitals. Its killing people left and right. I know I take chances going out at all so I wash and stay away, mask and do everything advised. I'm afraid that when Bidens rearend gets in office, we will have to buy a ton of groceries and be quarantined into our homes. If not, life will progress as it is. If restaurants and essential stores are not extremely cut back in hours of availability, no one will be at home. We've all been pushed to the brink of insanity. I've been home since the beginning, only just after Christmas did I decide to ride with him. I'm still pretty isolated riding, we mask and do not grt out and about when he stops unless necessary. We even utilize portable potties. Please be safe love, we will see you tomorrow!

Well I though I would have a go at this, that was until I saw the price of the paper never mind the powders. I used to love crafting but it is fast become a thing of the past. Prices are going through the roof.
Yes it can get costly, but make sure to shop around. I have just discovered there are some cheaper versions and have just ordered some to play with. Watercolour card is available everywhere, just have a look at what is near you. Crafting shouldnt break the bank at all! Thankfully from doing this channel i now have a small income and it allows me to purchase more things, but by all means you dont need to buy what i buy! I try my hardest to suggest alternatives if there are some. I'll share these new cheaper powders when they come in and share my experience of them on RUclips.
I hope you dont feel discouraged. Crafting shouldnt be about spending loads, it's about being creative.

Im sure you'll find most of the supplies in the States, Pretty gets Gritty might ship there, you can always email to ask. She's based here in the UK. There are a lot of brands that do these kinds of powders though, i have several videos using various powders as im a little addicted to playing with them!
Hi sasha, Im still waiting for these powders to come back and can hardly wait! Can you tell me the difference between arteza mica powders and the explosion powders? Thank you!
The mica powders are just mica, the explosion powders contain mica, colour and a binding agent to keep the mica from rubbing off. Mica powder is a base product you can add to loads of things. You can use it on it's own as well, though you do need to either add something to it to bind it to your project or seal it on after
