I've only just 'found' you and am currently binge watching your videos. Love your inspiration and love how 'frugal' you are, when you can be. Being able to go to the British shops and buy the same things is excellent... as you know we don't have a dollar tree (a particular bug-bear of mine!) but with you using items from familiar shops, I know that I can obtain the same results as you. Fantastic. You are so funny too. Love your channel.

Somebody on RUclips suggested that wedging the card base in the corner of your Misti or a scoreboard helps it from shifting when you are adding panels, etc. I have found that really helpful. The grid lines can be helpful too when they are visible.
I love the idea of these cards. I have some double-sided paper that would work great. Thanks!

Finally got the call for 14th December, so I’m now in recovery and I’m being waited on hand and foot by my hubby and daughter. Hope you had a wonderful Christmas. XXX

Lol re scraps. I also quilt and throw away far bigger bits of fabric than the bits of card I save. Of course the fabric cost at least 30 times as much.

I used my The Works points too to buy some craft stuff. Hope you were able to get some of the sale stuff before the shop closed for isolation? I'm definitely going to try out this style. Thank you for showing the different ways you achieve the edges. I'm moving house so most of my craft things are boxed, so it's good that I can still craft with the most minimum things.

I'm in the North West. I just wish people would listen and let's do this once and for all. Too many people I know have ended up catching the virus this wave around and their stories are terrifying! I want to do a craftatron with fellow crafter, all by zoom or RUclips. Would you guys be interested?

I love your crafting style and your videos. Your use of the craft tray is a great suggestion, however; I live in a very dry, desert climate. I find that any plastic tools for handling powders, embellishments, and more creates a lot of static cling. I even tried wiping the tray out with dryer sheets first to control the static cling. I finally relented and use folded paper, coffee filters, it hot dog papers to catch the excess. I even fashioned cardstock scoops to use in my containers of embossing powder - since I keep my clear, silver, and white in kitchen storage containers. I guess you have more humidity in the UK though.
Yes we live in a very wet climate, dry is very rarely a thing here. I never realised the climate can effect what you use to craft with! crazy, thank you for sharing
Glad I saw this. I have ALOT of paper scrap packs and scraps I've made. Glad you brought out the decorative scissors. I have a bunch I forgot about. Just increased my cutting process. Lol. @@SashaReade I lived in Edmonton for 4 months, Oct. to end of Jan....lol..that was enough for me. People are super, but being from BC, I found I missed the mountains..and GREEN! 😁
I ended up on Vancouver Island (I have family here), and have been in Victoria ever since..17 years now. Lots of people from the UK living here! Then there's all the smaller islands around us. All of BC is great, I guess where one lives depends whether you prefer more snow than rain in the winter...lol
Hopefully, once the world is allowed to travel again, you and your family can come for a visit and check it out. Cheers!

That embossing tray sounds amazing and looking at your videono embossingpowder sticks in it.. Right? As i have one that attracks the powder, and that is NOT ok.

Do you find with the embossing tray that a lot of the glitter stays on the tray ?

That's what the envelope punch board is for!
It is quite easy to make envelopes from copier paper - there are patterns on the internet that show you how to measure - then all you need is a bone folder to get a good crease and glue.
I tend to just buy envelopes that are bigger and stick them in. Im lazy like that, im not overly fussed about a perfect fitting envelope ha ha. I have probably 20 different sized envelopes and i just find one that is close enough to the card ive made. I find that much easier

i have no idea for Americans but i never gave any personal information when i signed up years ago. I only put in my credit card details and have never had an issue

I don't understand how everyone thinks we should make big cards all the time...I make all sorts of sizes and diensions, if you are giving a very small gift, you don't want a huge card, if you are sending a get well to someoneyou know only slightly, you are probably not going to send your flashest card,right? so those card scraps you showed at the beginning would make perfect small cards too, fold in half and decorate. easy, toherwise you will take forever to get thru your huge pile of scrap huh? my 2 cents worth
Totally, i love cards in ALLLLLLLL shapes and sizes. This is a pile that i bought as offcuts from a company, i thought i would make cards from it or use it for die cutting, then i forgot all about it! So time to break it out and crack on! I always make my cards to fit my stamps or to fit the scraps. Probably half of them are a standard size and half an irregular! Thank you for watching
