my laptop is overheating, already repaste it. But it cool down for a while than the next day, the temperature rised again. Any idea how to fix it? Does it has anything to do with the cooling system?

i need to replace the LCD backcover only. do i have to dissasemble the whole entire thing to do this? also are there any cables soldered to the back cover?
No you can do it without having to take apart any of the chassis. Once you pop the front bezel off you have access to all the screws to remove the back cover. You will probably have to also unstick the wifi antennas and remount on the new back cover.
@@Sellbrokedotcom aright cool, thanks for replying. is the antenna soldered or tape to it? i already found the back cover but i dont want to break anything. this doesnt look too had
i wanna re-paste my laptop, but the screws holding the black plastic cover over the fans and cpu are stuck and i can’t get them to unscrew, was wondering if anyone had any tips for getting them out. thanks!
Under the black film is the backing plate which is held on by plastic rivets that were melted in place. You can break them to remove the backing plate, but it might be hard to reinstall it securely enough to hold firm, especially since there are parts that attach to it. It might be easier to replace as an assembly.
Keyboard is everything remaining after you took the mainboard? So basically if i want to replace nitro 5 keyboard, i need to replace the entire top body???
I have heard of others just breaking the keyboard out carefully, swapping the keyboard, then using plastic epoxy to try and hold it in place again. Worth a shot!
My lid on the laptop is starting to crack really bad from opening and closing. the right hinge is split in half. Is there an easy way to fix or replace the lid?
If the hinge itself is broken, then you will have to take apart some of the case as well as the display assembly to replace it. If the back cover mounts have broken, which is not uncommon since they are usually plastic, you may be able to use epoxy to fix them. Replacing the back cover involves removing everything attached to it first like the hinges, screen, webcam, wifi antennas, etc and then transferring them over to the new one. It may be helpful to buy an assembly depending on how yours is broken.
after opening the back cover it is possible to remove only heatsink? .. do i have to remove all the stuff like battery n wifi and other stuff to remove heatsink?
Disconnect the battery, you don't have to remove it. Make sure to disconnect the two fan connectors, then you can remove the heatsink screws and remove the whole fan/heatsink assembly, paying attention to any cables that might be in the way. You will need thermal pads, this heatsink uses a lot. When reinstalling with new thermal paste, tighten the heatsink screws down in the order stamped on the heatsink.
You don't. The keyboard is integrated into the palmrest. Some I hear have broken it out and replaced it using glue, but you are better off buying the palmrest assembly.
On my laptop, the problem is that the back cover has a cracked piece which means that the front bezel and back cover don't connect properly. I know this isn't a huge problem, as it isn't a tech issue but I am still really worried! Any suggestions?
Can you help me please!? So my display on my Nitro 5 became cracked and then unusable and so I decided to use an external monitor instead for about 4 months with no issues, then after resetting pc (for a clean up) then reinstalling GeForce Experience and updating my graphics drivers the external display just won’t work no matter what. Hey i've got a problem im concerned about and you can answer it if you have spare time. Basically the laptop is new around 2 months. I turned it on and then plugged it into the wall 0.5 seconds later. It did a high pitch sound but nothing seemed wrong. Although there is now a buzzing noise when cpu load is a bit higher coming from the top middle around under the F6 button, somewhere there. I dont know what it is. I thought it is the fan but it isnt. No idea if a caused it or it was there and i didnt notice.maybe i damaged something with high voltage? Someone with similar problem? The sound become more noticable when you load the cpu higher
The only moving parts on your laptop are the fans and hard drive. F6 is right over one of the fans. It's not unusual for a fan to be bad or have bearing noise when new. It might be worth trying unplugging each fan by itself to see if the noise goes away.
@@SweetDreamsLB It can't be the speakers since they are at the front of the laptop. The fans are the only thing I can think of.... everything else at the rear of the laptop doesn't move or make noise (usually).
My acer nitro 5 laptop model is AN515-51 core i5 7300HQ. The problem is i think there is too much dust in my cooling vent. Thats why hot air block inside the cooling vent, causing to rise up the temperatur. Thats why my CPU temp goes upto 96°C and thus goes into thermal throttle mode while gaming. I have still 2months warrenty left from my Local shop, but i donot want go there. Because they said it would take about 1month for the warrenty procedure. Thats why i want to clear the dust from the fan Only, NO REAPPLICATION OF THERMAL PASTE. I donot want to touch the heatsink, just want to open the fan. Is there any tutorial for this.???
Its easy you don't need to take it apart. See the video at 4:37 and note where the heatsink vents are. While laptop is on/fans running, use "canned air" or other compressed air to blow INTO them while laptop is running and fans are on. This will blow out any dust/hair in the heatsinks and restore airflow. Most of the dust will go into the chassis but will be blown back out by the fans. You should feel more hot air coming out afterwards if the heatsink was indeed blocked.
Big help for replacing hinges, replacing parts, and making fixes. You're awesome!

@@haziqasyraf1998 its dangerous actually. you should stop fans with a wire or something.
Can you do one on how to replace the webcam? Do you have a Patreon?
Once you pull the bezel off the screen you will see how the webcam is mounted and wired. It's easy. Just be patient and careful to not to break anything. 👍
I think mine may have overheated or fried but instead of just shutting down or crashing I came home and It was just off and it wouldent turn back on
i need to replace the LCD backcover only. do i have to dissasemble the whole entire thing to do this? also are there any cables soldered to the back cover?
No you can do it without having to take apart any of the chassis. Once you pop the front bezel off you have access to all the screws to remove the back cover. You will probably have to also unstick the wifi antennas and remount on the new back cover.
@@Sellbrokedotcom aright cool, thanks for replying. is the antenna soldered or tape to it? i already found the back cover but i dont want to break anything. this doesnt look too had
i wanna re-paste my laptop, but the screws holding the black plastic cover over the fans and cpu are stuck and i can’t get them to unscrew, was wondering if anyone had any tips for getting them out. thanks!
I need to replace the keyboard, does that black film just peel back?
Under the black film is the backing plate which is held on by plastic rivets that were melted in place. You can break them to remove the backing plate, but it might be hard to reinstall it securely enough to hold firm, especially since there are parts that attach to it. It might be easier to replace as an assembly.
Keyboard is everything remaining after you took the mainboard? So basically if i want to replace nitro 5 keyboard, i need to replace the entire top body???
I have heard of others just breaking the keyboard out carefully, swapping the keyboard, then using plastic epoxy to try and hold it in place again. Worth a shot!
Good work, guys. Do you know if the display has a 30- or 40-pin connector ?
Spaghettini 30pin

Whats that little thing left but the trackpad at the end
@@Sellbrokedotcom Thank you sir
Is this the same process as the Acer Nitro 5 AN515-51? Let me know. Thanks.
Should be the same, any differences should be minor if any.
@@Sellbrokedotcom okay thanks because my laptop front bezel, hinge, and LCD back cover is broken on both sides.
how do i get to the front side of the keyboard from the back. you never mentioned how to do this
You could try using plastic epoxy to adhere the pieces together in that spot.
I don't have much knowledge on pc but can I upgrade this laptop display for one with better resolution?
No, you can upgrade it to 120Hz screen but not the resolution.

So my display on my Nitro 5 became cracked and then unusable and so I decided to use an external monitor instead for about 4 months with no issues, then after resetting pc (for a clean up) then reinstalling GeForce Experience and updating my graphics drivers the external display just won’t work no matter what. I’ve tried connecting it to TV’s and other monitor and using different cables but nothing has helped. I’ve tried nearly every shortcut on the computer but I’m not sure if any have worked.
go to display setting and select output as two monitor
Unplug the internal monitor from the motherboard
@@elvarfn2086 I figured it out almost a year ago. Had to unplug the internal screen and put one from one of my other laptops on to it, the graphics drivers needed to be updated.
I got the same Acer , since day one I never open it up or bring it to computer shop , but after 3 years using it , I got some battery problem then when I open it there was no hard drive in it , It kinda shock me. Y'all know why ?
Can i Upgrade the GPU for Nitro 5?
Nope
I repaired it but now the display won’t turn on. What did I do wrong? I’m sure I put everything back in place
To remove the LCD display flat cable from motherboard is just pull up it?
Why would you do that?
Thanks a lot brother for this video. I just figured out that my SATA connector is making problem attaching the HDD to the laptop (from HDD side and not motherboard side), can anybody tell me where can I buy one of that connector for my Acer Nitro 5 AN-515 52.

There is a way to take off the keyboard without dissabling all the computer?
Edit: I know that this computer is not like older laptops were the keyboard was easy to access, but I don't want to dissamble the whole thing if its possible
No sorry, the palmrest is the main structure of the laptop that everything is attached to, and the keyboard is on the "bottom", underneath everything. Just take lots of pictures a to help your reassembly with correct order and proper cable routing.
If I were to take apart my Nitro 5, could I remove the GPU and swap it out for a new one?

Ok, so I'm trying to remove /stop wifi from running on this computer. My EMF meter is still picking up a signal on the left side of the monitor reading 5000 microTesla when the wifi and blue tooth are off. This is very high considering my other laptop runs around 60ut. Is there a wifi antenna on that side? and is anyone aware of it being powered externally? When i turn the laptop off the levels drop.
Any ideas?
Wifi antennas are probably on the top part of the display assembly. Not sure why wifi runs when its turned off, that's suspicious.
@@Sellbrokedotcom yeah if it is the wifi at all. it could be something else with EMF oozing from it but I seriously have no idea what that could be. I saw the data sheet had two points where the wifi comes from... but the high reading comes from only one side. the other side is 200ut Maybe it's some kind of wiring issue. Who knows.
@@Sellbrokedotcom it sounds more like an electrical buzz like the old TVs
@@SweetDreamsLB It can't be the speakers since they are at the front of the laptop. The fans are the only thing I can think of.... everything else at the rear of the laptop doesn't move or make noise (usually).
Does Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43-RT3Y support Samsung 970 EVO Plus M.2 500GB NVMe 1.3 PCIe Gen 3.0 x4 Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MZ-V7S500BW?

Do I have to remove the ram stick to open the rest of the laptop?
It would be a good idea since it is easy but you can leave them if you want.
Thanks for showing me how to open mine it really helpt!
If the M2 SSD slot is empty, where is the 128GB SSD of this PC???
this version of the nitro 5 is older and it only has a hard drive no ssd
