I pre-compose the animated sphere (camera and light included) create new layer (solid or picture) and add TrkMat "Luma Matte" or even just the mode to Luma, but in this case it`s needed " animation" in the texture layer otherwise the texture will stay still. The ray-traced I find it kinda limited :) its very good for creating reflections and transparency on solid colored spheres(like glass orbs etc). For more complicated textures i would offer the cc sphere or even pre-modeled 3d object.
@@TheCPRproductions Hey got the same issue, but after watching MANY times this realize that the scale to 10px is not in Transform>scale, is very important to do it in COntent>elipse>elipsepath>size , and thats all

Thank you a lot, I needed this for my project.
Cheers once again JA ! :D
Cheers mate :)
great video
How can i put a texture?
Does anyone know how to split or cut a 3d sphere in half
Have you found a way to do it?
Mine has do shadows and no I did not forget to add a light
Great, thank you!
mine doesnt look like a sphere when i pan the camera around. looks like a donut without a hole. its not an actual "ball"
you need to set the scale to 10px (Ontent>elipse>elipsepath>size)
thanks a lot !

Is this still possible with AE2022?
Hey.
I like the first way to do it. Can you tell me how can i now apply a texture for my 3d sphere?

When I try to create the sphere using method #1 I'm getting a doughnut shaped sphere.. I tried solving it on my own but I can't find the problem...
Set it to 10 px first
@@ashishhembrom3905 i did the same thing and got something resembling a fat coin or doughnut

Or you can just add CC Sphere to the shape layer and you'll get the same result.
Try to rotate the camera around.
It’s only for looks though. When you flip it it’s still your average 2d circle.
Hey if you look at the beginning of Flimion videos with the rotating shells around the logo?
Is this how you would get to something like that?
Nodakkian I am not sure. In his intro is more likely used some 3d studio or plugin
Thanks for the reply.....I found this which is after effects so maybe its possible ruclips.net/video/xFrEtnUD3uk/видео.html
So you make a bunch of Illustrator images and put them in a folder, then after effects can render them as video frames
thanks for bad music
If you can't speak english, pls find someone to do a voice-over. AE is complex enough without having to watch a video with no voice-over...
I can speak English ,obviously.... The issue is ,my setup does not provide me with an environment for a crisp and clean sound recording...
