- My friends Randy and Ken hang out with me at Gunsite Wash near Why, Arizona. Ken cooks up the most amazing meal I have ever had on the road. The next day, we venture over to Ajo, AZ and check out some cool street art and one of the largest open-pit mines in America. Then my bed breaks!

Thank you for your video. I love to cook with Dutch Ovens, and that dinner did look incredible. Very similar to a meal I had in an ancient restaurant (900 yrs old) in Austria. It was served family style with cordials and wines between courses. It was so very, very good. Your video sure did bring back a great memory for me. Thanks again.

My Penslvania Dutch friend showed me how to make the "cabbage" meal. Just like your friend did except add just a little water, a shake of sugar, and a splash of vinagar, to make a sourkruat "sour cabbage" sauce for the potatoes. We had it last week, But made in the oven at home. It has never occurred to me to take the dutch oven camping. Next trip it is gonna be hanging over the camp fire. Thanks for the useful tlp!

Great show!Try Foil,Rough chopped- potatoes(we like Yukon golds ,any will do , Bell peppers, 1 whole onion, lots of whole garlic Olive oil butter.Wad up and bbq for 40 min.Add dollop sour cream at serving.Our fav bbq food with meat.

Thank you so much for visiting/filming a part of Arizona everyone else has skipped over. The Ajo/Why Arizona copper mining area is so fascinating with its history. I understand Why got its name from the fact that the town was shaped like the letter Y; the miners/settlers wanted to call it Y, Arizona, but the state required a town to have a minimum of 3 letters in its name...thus Why, Arizona. Can't wait to see your next group of videos. I'll be happy now when I don't get videos from you because you explained you were just hanging out with your friends and having fun. You so deserve it!

Bex we just missed you! We were in AJO Apr. 1st - 12th. Pulled out the day of the wind storm. Headed to Gilbert Ray. It would be great to run into you we watch all your vids.
Bex, my Mom and Dad lived in Ajo, Az for a while in the early 40's. Dad was a firefighter for the government when they had a base there. Good luck with your rig I hope you are able get your bed fixed, it's the pits when you don't get a good night's sleep. Blessings to you.

Great video Bex, back in to he early 1970 I lived in Ajo for a short time. It was definitely a copper company town, as I remember all of the miners shopped in the company store. It is a beautiful area, that really had not been discovered by the winter visitors yet.please get started on more videos, all of us enjoy your videos and your comments.

Bex I love one pot meals as fix them often so will have to try this out. Have missed your style of videos so it will be welcoming to see the next ones coming out. The one with the Palm trees in the mountains was worth remembering. Hope that you get your bed fixed as its a pain not getting a good nights rest. I know this combination of Pork and cabbage and it is on my menu already as I live in an area with one of the country’s large German settles from days gone by, it is really nice with sauerkraut too.
It was delish! I'm definitely going to try it for myself sometime.

You needed a floor jack to lift and hold it temporarily, maybe with a extra board in between, put a board underneath the jack as well to distribute the load a little.

hi, bex. the plywood that i use in the middle of my bed will eventually sag/need replacing as well. over time, with weight, gravity will warp it. shouldn't be a big deal to buy more plywood/have it cut to size. i have the original casita table stored so i can use it for a template when i need to replace the plywood. the challenge for you will be removing the mattress. once that is done, replacing the board will be a piece of cake. no biggie for a tough chica like you! safe travels, claire & merlin
I enjoy your Videos because You actually get outside and Do things. Go hiking, or Exploring etc. Most of the other Nomad Vloggers just document their travels from here to there. Not very interesting. You put alot of effort into your RUclips videos. By the music you choose to accompany, to the actual video shoot/composure, to even the effects ,and then editing too. I have a Easy-Peasy solution for your bed caving problem. I have a Scamp 13' and modified my bed and ADDED a support for just-in-case of what you went through via the bed caving. It's nothing more than a very short piece of PVC pipe installed at the edge of the bed (as a support column and locked in) and looks nice. If you're interested, I can send you a picture of what I did... Again, it's so simple and never had any problems...

Thanks for the vid. Beautiful murals. A curiosity question for you: Would you consider yourself to be more of an introvert or an extrovert? How does being it (whichever) work with or against solo traveling in an RV 24/7? Do you get lonely traveling solo? I know you make friends along the way but it isn't as if you get to hang with people for very long before you or they move on.
Bex: so sorry about your bed. Either Lowes or Home Depot will cut thick plywood to the size you would need to fill the gap that the original table top has been filling all this time. First "cut" is free. Other cuts usually 50 cents each. ** you could add an extra 1/4 inch so it would be a super tight fit. Measure width in the back & width in the front (and of course the length). you wouldn't need any tools since they are doing all the cuts. Just maybe some sandpaper to smooth the edges. ----I'm sitting in a 17ft casita right now: 15ft if you subtract the outside hitch. °°°wishing you 'good luck°°°. Take care. Great Video, always enjoy! Ajo is great spot, the Cabeza Prieta National Wildlife Refuge, just west of town is super. Spent 10 days , had a great time. Check with Fish and Wild Life Office in Ajo. if interested. Organ Pipe is cool can't wait to see your video. Best
