This is a very well done video and documentary. My father was a water well driller from the 1940's-1970's. I can remember that he took myself and two brothers with him when he went to visit someone who lived in Ruby. The man and my father talked for many hours about a possible well drilling job somewhere in the area. My older brother was allowed in the house for the meeting but myself and younger brother had hours to roam around while we were waiting. The potential client lived in an adobe building and came outside when we left. He walked with a cane and had a white beard with a cowboy type hat. At that time that type of visit was very normal for us so I didn't think it was anything unusual. Again great video.

A really nicely done and pleasantly mellow look at Ruby. It is a great place to visit, and we spent a couple of days there several years ago. The thousands of mine shaft bats at dusk were amazing.

Always enjoy your videos, they are rich in history. Don't remember when or how I learned about the ghost town of Ruby. This too is on my list of trails/destinations to go to. While not part of the theme of mining, there are a large list of old forestry fire watch lookout towers throughout Arizona. Those are also on my bucket list before they are lost to history. Noticed you are close to reaching the milestone of 13k subscribers, well done. Thanks for sharing.

Nice! Glad you were able to visit. We were quite shocked when we recently went and learned of it's imminent closing.

Ruby or not Ruby...that is the question...went there with friend from London who was into old western type sites. We even got to witness Mordor Patrol on horseback chasing...which was a real treat for him. Giant slide there reminded me that back then if you got hurt...tough...suck it up. Overall great experience. 👍

Been near there many times but never stopped. After watching you nicely done video. It looks like I may have to go check it out. Not to sound harsh, but the triple mirrored photo affect was not real appealing in the video. Looking forward to more of your adventures.

I really like your videos but I cant take that triple screen effect it make me dizzy. I spend a lot time around Ruby and was looking forward to this video but shit can that triple screen effect. Couldnt finish watching it.
