can't imagine as an artist the goose bumps you get when the crowd sings the words back to you Holly and Jess sent my wife and I a best wishes video for our wedding, they are absolutely amazing!!!!
One of the best things about RUclips is it gives us the ability to see so many great concerts. This is a diamond in a field of RUclips gems. I've watched this dozens of times in the past few years (it's easy to Loop endlessly). This is a brilliantly witnessed capstone to their pre-dance pivot (or one-off). The songwriting is excellent and perfectly executed. So many wonderful and intense moments in this! I think this will be as exciting to watch in 5 years or 10 as it is now. Simply brilliant!
Those harmonies during Gone Insane are out of this world. I need to see these guys live again! If anyone here is thinking about catching a show - just fucking do it
found them by incident, can't stop listening and watching them, although I am a 55 five year old bof, mostly listening to jazz, but they must not be ignored...gorgeous performance from beginning to end
I'm 51 and I'm so grateful I discovered them. This band is pure talent. Maybe a little underrated. They definitely deserve more. I was watching the Grammys yesterday, and Lucius should have been there.
What is not to like about this group?? I saw them in Denver a couple of months ago, easily one of the best shows I've seen. They're back in Boulder in November and I already have my tickets. Beautiful vocals, intelligent lyrics, deep spiritual awareness, visually stunning, wonderful songwriting......the moniker contemporary gospel comes to mind....but even that is way too limiting of a description. I love you Lucius!
With tears in my eyes because of your awarenes ... i tell all of you guys on stage that you're lovely welcome! Your performance is not just a show - it is the authentic truth of your heart beatings. Thanks a lot for your fine (vocal) art. Keep on rollin'! Love and peace ...!
Beautifully recorded. I was at this performance, and you can hear them much better here than live. At the 9:30 Club they were ear shatteringly loud. You lose all sense of ensemble that way.
Seeing them in Vermont next March--the already sold-out show. Thanks to my hubby for introducing me to their music and for booking our concert tickets!
saw them in houston on thurs., Nov. 10. two days after election, a couple of hours after the death of leonard cohen had been announced. it was incredible. see them live if you ever have the chance.
Found them when I watched Jake and Amir's "Lonely and Horny" series. They sang the theme songs. Got hooked ever since. I can't believe they haven't gone mainstream yet, or perhaps people just don't know what good music is :P Fave song: Don't Just Sit There PS: I messaged Holly on FB after Cleveland won and I didn't think they were on a tour lol I'm not even sure if she got to read it but the thought counts, right?
OPERA! This is Opera, for this century - working title for the full length opera they come out with - FEELING (like I'm only 16) or BORN AGAIN TEEN, New Age Style. we can only hope.
Honestly, I don't like Genevieve but I found it surprisingly awesome to end the concert on a high note, unlike the other concerts they usually do where they end with HLYHG.
We saw Lucius from the front row at Bonnaroo last year and were completely blown away. I was so excited to see that they are touring with Roger. I've got tickets to see him on June 1st.
The unlikes are likely based on the few songs that remind of ABBA. Peeps will assume they are an ABBA knock off when they clearly aren't. Dusty Trails, Go Home, Tempest, among others certainly do not remind of ABBA.
Not enough low end, they have a nasally sound anymore. It's time their drummer got a kick drum and the band got a bass player. The novelty has worn off.
Lived long enough to experience this. So glad.

This group is so amazing, I don't understand why there are only a couple thousand views on this video! Lucius, you rock!!
Clicking that like button and sharing helps boost the video, but people forget to click.
They're a new discovery for me, through PHC. Their harmonies with little or no background music are tear-sheddingly sublime.

My favorite music in years. Very interesting ensemble determined to avoid cliches and tired formulas. Woo Hoo. Come to Florida please.
This is objectively mesmerizing.
Fantastic.
Such a huge sound for a band without a bass player and a full kit drummer.
I'm always late to the party but at least I got here.
Jess playing the bass synch helps
Great performance! Their confidence and stagecraft is on the up and up.

i´m 18 and I knew them because of Roger, this is real music god knows
I'm 56 and I'd like to do the short one. Twisted... I know.
I'm either 55 or 56, at this point why remember? I also love listening to them. Go home is my fav song by them
Remember, Grasshopper, music is eternal...
LOVE love LOVE Luius

saw them in Richmond, they were awesome. Saw them on Last call about 3 years ago and I couldn't stop listening to them.
These girls are masters of their craft. Such a pleasure to hear.
their voices are hypnotizing
Their voices make paying bills almost pleasurable. Dusty Trails gives me shivers.
You guys are beautiful human beings!
This is the greatest performance I’ve seen in absolute years. I’m floored
How loud our hearts get!!!😎🤗🙄🙂😊😄😄

Wow! What a great performance ! Lucius is kickin A s s. and takin names . The future is theirs
It's 2024. I'm so glad to see them getting more and more famous for their ridiculously great work. I can't wait to hear more of their new music!
For these ladies just one word: PERFECTION!
Damn these women can sing! I love Lucius. Impeccable harmonizing, too, and so inventive.
They are so DOPE!!!

I recently learned of Lucius from their work with Roger Waters. Fantastic
Increibles, realmente hacen que sienta que la buena musica no esta perdidaaaa, increible y emocionado, gracias
I'm meeting this band today .. October 2019. What a great music.
At 1:14 I said to myself, “this is the greatest band of all time”
As we used to say, "These folks deliver the goods."
Las amo 💕🤗me dan mucha paz
siento lo mismo y no se como explicar en mi casa. agradecido por siempre
@32:00 chills for this song
I love Lucius!!!!!
an amazing set. they are absolutely stunning live. and, whenever semi-normal returns, the first band i want to see.
Let's just hope the came well through all of this
Love them........great show at the Fillmore in 2016. I hope they tour again soon.
amazzing vocal...I LOVE YOU
saw them in houston on thurs., Nov. 10. two days after election, a couple of hours after the death of leonard cohen had been announced. it was incredible. see them live if you ever have the chance.
I thoroughly enjoyed that.
As of Aug 2023, 112,000+ views with 1,400+ likes averages out to almost 80 views per like. Sounds about right. Luv Lucius!
Son fsntasticos!!!

MAGNETIC MAGIC VOICE
Simply amazing...2nd too nothing... This band is so hypnotizing

Dear Roger.. you indeed have a super taste...
All I can think of is "Wow"
Honestly, I don't like Genevieve but I found it surprisingly awesome to end the concert on a high note, unlike the other concerts they usually do where they end with HLYHG.
WOWEEEEEEEEE!
Such badasses
NO WAY Jose
WHODAFUQ DISLIKED THIS?!
oh my god
Roger Waters brought me here :-D
Me too

Me too, I watched them when Roger came to Mexico last October, in his concert for free at Zócalo square, they were amazing with great gig in the sky

Is it "lucy-us" or "lush-us"?
Love it anyway :)
Phonetically, it is pronounced Loo Shuss :>
16 unlikes!? Souless creatures!

Shades of 'This mortal coil'
Everything is so good, except for the bad lightings ..
No love for the other musicians?
BACKING VOCALS OF ROGER WATERS...
Love the music but the sound engineer needs some work.
That is my name
Love them, but just saw them with Dawes and it turned out to be basically a Dawes concert with a tiny, unsatisfactory smidgeon of Lucius.
ii have the biggest crush on jess. she and my wife look alike.
Bernadette Roberts interview - RUclips

Came here thanks to Roger Waters
This band is great but, man does "Born Again Teen" sound like a poor man's St. Vincent...
Not enough low end, they have a nasally sound anymore. It's time their drummer got a kick drum and the band got a bass player. The novelty has worn off.
who are you? Mozart?
@@leokreimer6492 No, a fan.
I think this sparse band setup embellishes the two singers.
Genial!!!!!!!
