I lost my mother some weeks ago, and up till now I haven't cried for her. To be honest, I haven't felt much of anything since she got sick some years ago. And yet, here I am listening to Halo’s music, and it brings some sort of feeling, good memories back into the fray of my existence. Memories of my friends who I no longer talk to spending all-nighter trying to rank up in matchmaking, I haven’t laughed that hard in a long time. Getting yelled at by both mother and father telling me to "go to bed it’s a school night". Pleasant and lovely memories, but also painful as well. As I sit here alone in my room thinking to myself, perhaps my best days are behind me. Lucky for me, my father taught me to never give up, and to persevere through the chaos. I miss my mother and I miss the good old days with my friends, but I will persevere. Forgive me my ranting, but I feel much better writing this out and clearing my head. If you are reading this, I know were complete strangers, but keep persevering through the chaos. And someone out there loves you very much, I love you all.
I am sorry for your lost. Remember that every tear is not a waste. May your mother rest in peace. Be strong and good moments will come. Best regards my dear friend
My deepest condolences brother. Losing a parent is one of the hardest parts of your life, but there is a silver lining to be had. Your mother raised a very thoughtful, strong, and determined young man. Give em' hell Marine. We love you.
although Coker, Schweitzer, and Corelitz did a great job on the Infinite soundtrack, all of the recognizable "Halo" melodies and themes are the work of Mike Salvatori and Martin O'Donnell - especially the latter. And they were all created over 20 years ago. Nearly everything since is just variations on a theme. Martin O'Donnell chose such a vibe because it fit the escapism that the first game was trying to evoke - Halo landscapes were all meant to be as serene and exotic as possible to bely the horror of what lay beneath - and the loneliness fit the main character's solitary struggle. And it still does. O'Donnell had more of a say in the creation and themes of the Halo franchise than most video game composers too. He's also very old school. He has the classical training that you'd expect, but he's also a huge prog rock and jazz fan. So he ended up being the right guy in the right place at the right time with the right musical context. This is also why Infinite's soundtrack is so great, imo. It's just a "greatest hits" of past Halo themes. It doesn't try to reinvent the wheel, and that's okay. It's unfortunate that it took the relative failures of Halo 4 and 5's music for the people at 343 Industries to realize this is what the next Halo game needed, but I'm glad it eventually happened.
I think it's to reflect the fact that John has been a lone wolf for a while, the only company was Cortana untill the events of 4 and 5. Infinites music is like a audible version of John's journey. He has the final good bye from cortana but has the weapon which is like a comfort as she is a clone of cortana and doesn't feel completely lost. I might be completely wrong, but that's how it's coming across for me
2 Liter Sodas, Pizza, and an absolute hazardous amount of CAT5 cables running room to room between 8 XBOXs all connected to their own 20 inch "travel" TV (because screen sniping is for bitches) that you rolled down the street on your shitty office chair to Clint's house because his mom worked nights. You felt like a god when you owned 7 of your friends because that was all there was at the LAN house; no online play in this Dojo son. What a time to be 16 years old in 2001.
I’m suffering from PTSD and this really calmed my mind. Brings me back to years long gone, just me and a friend playing HALO with the Duke Controllers. No problems, no heartbreak, no personal crises. We laughed, we screamed out of joy, our bond grew closer because of it. The excitement was unparalleled. If I could go back in time- I’d go there. To revisit it all. At this time, in this moment we believed in ourselves, we’re ready for what’s to come. The years went by but the wonderful memories remained.
These songs will forever be a part of the core memories of a whole generation. They helped shape us, ground us, and create those deep rooted feelings of love and brotherhood with our sibilings and friends. Little did we know the beauty and rariety of what we were experiencing in those early years of Halo. No other generation might ever get that experience. There was just something so pure and simple about those days. We were so lucky to have lived through those years. 🥲 And now, with videos like this and music like the iconic HALO Sound Track, we can emotionally go back to those early days in our minds and hearts and relive some of those core memories. 🖤 Long live the HALO Universe 🖤
That purity, too young to fully appreciate or realize ar the time, indeed through such a compilation this serves as such a conduit to bonds and lasting memories made, which in describing illserves but a fraction of its enduring impact.
@@ryvyr the poetry of such beautiful music can easily be described as contagious. The way it sparks a desire to out speak our simple linguistic normalities, in favor of a far more eloquent speech, one that better conveys yet a fraction of our childhood, our memories, our love for this universe, and our desire to avenge our brothers, a world in which we've never stepped foot, and yet have lived our entire lives within. It's a powerful feeling, a powerful bond of neither blood nor close relation, but rather perhaps the most beautiful bond, one of choice and of forged reliance on each other
As someone that grew up on Halo, this will always be something that calms my nerves and takes me back to better days. Is it Bungie's Halo? No. Does that mean that it's bad? No. Infinite genuinely satisfied the inner nerd for me, so, stuff like this always makes me happy.
Even tho infinite didn’t have a good start, it honestly made me have that feeling it’ll be a good halo game at some point. A halo game that will be another safe haven for the community. So far it’s doing great with infection but I will say the campaign was the best one I’ve played since halo 3 and it genuinely made me cry on some points of the story but I’m glad I stuck with infinite praying it would be good and that 343 would put effort into it. So, here we are, those who stayed would be glad they did even when people told them to give up halo, when it comes to a franchise that we all grew up with we don’t loose hope for what’s to come.
You know what I love so much about these halo ambient mixes? No matter who makes them, how many views they have or what they sound like, one thing stays the same, halo fans. The comments aren't filled with words of criticism, or hate, they don't have people judging the songs, it'd never about the content or the creator. It's always just Us, our stories, stories of Spartans who lost so much and still continue the fight. The people we grew up with, getting mad they cross sniped us on blood gulch, getting spartan lasered on last resort, to getting infected on a forge world. The men and women we fought and died with in a virtual world, round after round game after game, we all make our way to these mixes like a beacon in the haze stopping to tell our truths, to remember the past, to hope for the future, and to never forget. Spartans never die.
This music sounds so much more like Martin O'Donnel's scores for the original Halo trilogy. It even includes a lot of the motifs from those games. This is a refreshing return to form after the deviations in Halo 4 and 5, whose scores lacked that classic "Halo" feel.
@@thetalesofdaneandco Chief did have a motif in Bungie's games - it's 'The Last Spartan' on the Halo 2 soundtrack. It is one of Halo's most recognised tracks, and is featured quite prominently throughout Halo 2 and 3 (perhaps most famously during the Halo 2 cliffhanger ending. One of my favourite reprises of this one is where it is combined with Cortana's motif, both played on the piano, when the Chief finally reaches her in Halo 3 ('Keep what you steal')). The Last Spartan actually also plays a few times in the Infinite OST, including as part of the ending motif (a throwback to Halo 2's ending). That's not to put any shade on the '117' track that Neil Davidge composed for Halo 4 - huge fan of that one also.
@@eternity7040 The issue I have with the supposed motif from 2 is that it is used so often throughout that I didn't even know it was supposed to be centered on Chief. It was clear in the 2 or 3 uses in Halo 4 that 117 was specific to the character of Chief and not just centric to the general game formed around him.
Man…Halo. This game is my childhood. So many core memories attached to it. It breaks my heart to see where it’s at now. Such an amazing franchise. Everything was perfect. I love Halo so much and I truly hope it makes a comeback. But until then…never forget. REMEMBER HALO
this music came at the right time. I sit and think now about everything in my life. thanks for this and other music. I listened to it, when I was at university. I listen even now 😅🇺🇦
Halo's music has such a beautiful take, it sounds amazing, yet very secluded. It points at the fact that war, while fast paced and very intense, also gets very tranquil and lonely once the guns become silent. It leaves so many alone, so many broken, so many irreplaceable lives lost, resources burned through, livelihoods shattered. It's beautiful that a war game brings that out, the loss so heavily felt by music, which speaks volumes to heights no language could ever reach. Music is not simply a song's background, rather the music IS the song. Every tune speaks for itself, every note holds a message. Every song holds a story beyond the lyrics, and sometimes, if you just listen you can even understand what it is that its telling you, as if its sentient of its own. Halo's music seems to have been written to tell the story of the Halo arrays, the stories of greed, of collateral damage, new faces and old enemies, of death and rebirth. The struggle for dominance forcing a struggle for survival. The change in the tide of war, the sacrifices that led to the shift in power, and the memorial of all those who gave everything, so that survival was no longer a game, but a guarantee.
Hearts out to every who came here to get over their troubles. This music just makes me feel at peace, especially when I’m going to bed I feel like I’m floating in the high heavens
As someone who didn't grow up with Halo, thank you for bringing this beautiful score to your channel. I'm so glad I could hear it for the first time here
I lost my mom last week unexpectedly. She got my older brother and I Halo when we were kids because it gave us a game to play together. She got us the novels because it gave us good fiction to read. I always appreciated the soundtrack and the story, and we bonded for years afterwards as I’d gush about how heroic all of this was, and she’d listen intently, and tell me about Joseph Campbell and the Heroes Journey, and her favorite series from her childhood (she loved Narnia). I’m still awake because I can’t stop thinking about her, and it’s been like this every night since she passed, but finding something this sentimental and peaceful’s a good sign I’ll pass out before the end of this video instead of near dawn. She’d want me to rest. Hug your loved ones, and tell them about what you’re doing, or what you’re interested in. We only have so much time in this life to share together, so I hope you share as much as you can with your people.
I am so sorry to hear that. It's like I tell others here if a loved one has pasted. They lived their great journey and you were a part of it. She just gave you the torch to light your our path. You have a bright future ahead of you.
This brought a tear to my eye... Enjoy every single moment of life and never look back. We don't know how long our loved ones will be alive so make the most of every single day. Hug them and cherish them. Always say I love you. Let go of all the hatred, negativity and over stimulation this new era has brought. Remember, there are good things and good people still out there who want to work together and build a unified human race. Explore beyond Earth 🌎 into the stars, visit other solar systems. It might not be in my life time but I do believe its possible. Never look back spartans! Here's to a brighter future. 🌞
I almost choked in tears when I read the comments to this video, not because how beautiful the music is, but how relatable and existentialism I am going through right now. At least I'm alive right now..
Currently working on my masters degree, while trying to keep up with the bills and enough free time to do stuff for myself. Everything is overwhelming. Days are stressful. Videos like this (and the similar ones for Nintendo music) always ease the stress, bring me back to all those years ago when life was simpler. The worries were less. I constantly doubt and overthink if I've made the correct choices for career, hobbies, etc. But these videos keep me grounded, help me stay level headed. I thank you and everyone else who takes the time to make these and upload them. They truly do help so many people.
The internet made life more difficult, in some ways. When we had only the TV and the telephone connected to the wall by a cord, jam boxes, walkmans, radio.. and that was it.
Whenever I get really stressed out at work I come back to my office and just play this. Always calms me down. It's also the first thing I play when I get here too. I make sure all the lights are off and this is playing on full volume.
It seems to be a trend for peaceful/ASMR/sleep music compilations where people share what most troubles them and I'm here for it. Music therapy is magic. To all the people struggling right now, I see you. I'm currently waiting on the good times too. Life is going to knock us all down over and over again and it's often hard to cope. But it's our duty to get back up, dust off, and get back in the fight. No matter how hard you get hit, no matter what pain you feel, no matter how alone you think you are, remember that you CAN take that hit, you CAN heal, and you are NEVER alone. I love this community with all my heart and I am so proud of all of you. Stay strong, and finish the fight.
I remember Halo 3 being the first real video game soundtrack I connected with, enough such that I went to a lot of trouble to try and find its OST on CD. I was already into movie soundtracks, and the cinematic quality of that soundtrack had me hooked - the triumph, the whimsy, the wonder, that feeling of a lone warrior against an entire planet - all felt in Marty and Michael's composition for what some say is "just a video game." I only played a little of 4 and didn't play 5, however I hopped into Infinite and just love that even though its not Marty and Michael, it still has all those feelings of the music from the original trilogy.
Man these comments are such a vibe in their own right, listening to the music while reading them is a feeling I could only find here. Full of love and memories leaving this place we found. Be kind to yourself, remember the good times and wear sunscreen.
I am currently putting the final touches on my senior capstone paper that will be the final academic essay I will ever write. It is due tomorrow and after that I have two more assignments (one of which is already done) left. My last day of university is May 6 and after my final grade is submitted, I will have officially earned my Bachelors Degree. This video popped up when I was listening/watching other ambience videos and it made me reflect on my academic life. I listened to all of the Halo music while studying ever since my freshman year of Highschool (which was 8 years ago!!) and I am finishing my time in school with this Halo Infinite video (which is BEAUTIFULLY done by the way). Anyway, I wanted to encourage anyone going through school or college right now that you can make it. I have had many many really hard times in my life that interfered with my schooling and for the past 2 years I have been dealing with complications from getting covid in 2020. The past 2 years have been some of the hardest times in my life and the 4.0 gpa I had held up until last year was broken when I got a B in a class. I am grateful for what I got considering my health problems, but I went from D's & C's in freshman and sophomore years in high school (and barely graduating with a 3.4 gpa) to all A's in college and It felt awesome. So you can imagine that getting a B was more devastating than it should have been but I want to tell those of you watching this video studying who feel like they will fail. Prioritize your mental health over perfect school work but give as much effort as you can into your work and you will be surprised at how well you do. There were points in my life where I was so low that I could never imagine living to see this day, but it is here. You are ENOUGH, You are WORTHY of love and you have VALUE! I hope and pray that situations or mental darkness that are hurting you or stressing you resolve and that your heart will have peace.
Crazy that this was 2 years ago!! Today is the last day of the second semester of my Masters Degree. I have a job I love and looking back at my younger self, I don't think I ever thought I would be where I am today. Struggles still come and I fight battles every day but now I fully appreciate how resilient I have become. Set a fire in your heart spartan! Hard times prepare you for an amazing destiny you could have never imagined
This theme gives me happiness and saddness. The good memories and the bad ones but. I'll always enjoy this game for the music and the epic adventures and the coolest main character to be around.
I know i am a year late but I do want to say this, i remember when i was born i was a beautiful baby and i always my mom and my dad, i remember having siblings and a house until that faithful day, we were forced to move out from that place until i met my mom's mother, my grandma and she was the sweetest person i have ever meet and i always love my grandma very much, i always see her from morning to night, i always say goodnight and love you to her, until i hear i had a granpa and then he always draw me dinosaur cards and stuff, i always love them very much, i still remember them, i remember going to elementary school and nobody like me back then, until i made a friend and new friends but i remember leaving that school every day with my friend but we graduate from that school and went our different ways i went to Nicole's jr high school, i made like 5 or 6 or maybe 8 friends there, back then i always hated two people I didn't truly like, i always hated them for being so damn annoying and stuff, until i didn't see him after elementary school and i was happy until i saw other annoying kid but 3x times worse then before he always use to be running in the hallway like an idiot he was and bully my other friends and stuff until that faithful day, he grab my backpack and i had it, i push him in the gym right in of everyone but did i care??? No i didn't care at all, he shouldn't have take my stuff, and everyone gets mad at me for it, i hate them too, i dispy every single one of them, they took his side instead of mine aide, but i didn't care anymore, i just care about leaving that school behind, but i always miss my teachers from elementary to Nicole jr high until something happened in 2020 when COVID-19 hit, it was the worst year ever, online school work and everything until i came back as a jr qnd i met new friends and made new friends, i always think of them afls my family which they are like a family to me, but after i heard what happened to my grandpa, he unfortunately passed away i was trying not to cry but it was hard so i cry very hard because i never got the chance to meet him in person i cry and cry, i remember playing halo 4 never forgot theme song and it always gets to me because it was always so sad but to this day i still him him today right now, i was truly glad that i was happy when he send me drawings of dinosaurs, i always loved him very much with my heart, but after a year without him i still miss him very much but after i was a senior at high school i was finally happy bit still had to go to school tho, until after the day of the graduation i was finally happy, and sad at the same time, leaving the school behind and my favorite teacher's behind, im gonna miss them very mcuh but at least i have my friends phone number, but im scared to lose my grandma..... I don't want to lose her and everyone i truly love and care for very much but it's something i can not do to stop time or anything, but if i did lose my grandma, i pray to god and Jesus to protect them, even everyone i love very much to protect them too, with thier guardian angels, and look after them, but theres one thing i know today, life is Short but in person life is long for them, it doesn't matter where you go but what natters is you always have friends, love ones and most pf all, families and together you build a ultimate tree house and i will always forever miss everyone i truly love and care for, i love you all with my heart 💛🩵🤍🖤 I remember i made mistakes but then i remember and heard this line from the master chief and thought it was the best line it was He said this Master Chief: we all make mistakes, it what makes us humans After losing my grandpa and my friend at school but use arbiter voice line in the mission on halo: Arbiter: even in death your sergeant guide us all Me after about to failed was fine to taking the 3 requirement class but using Cortana and master cheif voice Cortana: if we don't make it. Chief: will make it Cortana: its beeen an honor serving with you john Me finishing the fight and fishing the school and making it to graduation, and hear lorehood best line ever know to mankind Lorehood: for us the storm has passed the war is over but let us never forget those who journeyed into the howling dark and did not return, their decision required courage beyond measure, sacrifice, and unshakable conviction that their fight...our fight was healthier.., as we start to rebuild this hillsode will remain barren a memorial to heroes for they enabled all of us and theu shall not be forgotten.. School saying the best line to me as the enemy but turn into friends: The school: i remembered how this war was started, when your kind did to mine, I can't forgive you but you have my thanks for standing by in the end, hard to believe he's dead.. Principal's: were so easy Me finally finishing high school for good, to use master cheif best line in the entire galaxy know to mankind: Chief: what happened? Cortana: im not sure when halo fire it shook it self to pieces in a number on the ark. The protal couldn't sustain itself we made it through just as it collapsed.. well some of us made it. Cortana but you did it, the truth, the conveant, the flood.. it's finished Chief: it's finished Cortana: ill drop the beacon and it'll be a while before anyone finds us, years even... Ill miss you And here the best line from cheif in the entire universe know to mankind this was the final line in halo 3 Chief: wake me when you need me. Sorry if this sounds cringe and cheesy and kind of stupid but life is scary but i will miss everyone i love the most things don't last forever, things has to change at some point but tou can always visit your grandparents and friends at anytime and anywhere, i hope you all understand what i was going through a lot and i wish all of you the beat life (Message to me today to future me in 2030 to 2050 and to everyone who reads this message in the future) (Message in 2023 to 2030 to 2050 Time: 5:23) I wish you all the best life and have a good life humanity, love you all
Beautiful mix. The music in this video is precisely why I play the Halo games. Brings a much needed peace to my life when I listen to this music. Thanks for sharing.
hearing how it sounds in the beginning... reminds me of the old days. but it also leaves me with a sense of melancholy. sometimes I hear this, when I think about the old halo MP maps, and how they're all long since deserted now..
Hope you don't mind this Chief and Cortana (The Weapon) as well as Esparza were camping out in the middle of a Meadow, The Pelican was nearby. Esparza was stargazing Cortana:"What are you doing?" Esparza:"Stargazing, You want to try Cortana?" Cortana:"Sure" They both looked into the night sky of the Zeta Halo Their Campfire's firewood popping every so often. Then Gunfire rang out, Chief sprung up Rifle in hand, Esparza pulled out his pistol. Chief:"Where's it coming from?" Cortana:"Our 12 o clock it's a Squad of Marines and...Two Spartans!" Chief:"Their Status?" Cortana:"Green,Wait one just disappeared" Esparza:"How do you mean they disappeared?!" A Spartan II Then decloaked in front of them Esparza:"OH FUCK!" The Spartan looked around and spotted Chief, they went ramrod straight and delivered a crisp salute Spartan:"SIR" The voice was female with a hint of an Slavic accent Chief:"Identify." Spartan:"Spartan Aurora-179 Sir" Chief took a look at her armor it was painted Tiger Stripe like spec ops units were back in the Vietnam war of the 1960s and '70s most of the armor was configured for recon but there was one piece of her armor he didn't recognize. Cortana:"1st Lieutenant Aurora Voycheck, Recon and Guerrilla warfare specialist." Aurora:"Right on the dot but if you excuse me I have Marines to help, MARINES ALL CLEAR!" A Squad of Marines appeared from the woods as well as the Second Spartan II, Their armor was a Grayish-White with the Red Cross on their shoulders, They were helping a Marine stand in the Marines hand was a shotgun. Cortana:"And that's Spartan Curie-180 or 2nd Lieutenant Curie Burrow, Combat Medic." Curie:"He has a broken Leg, anyone have any Biofoam, I used all I have in that firefight earlier." The voice had a French Accent Esparza:"There's a crate in the Pelican I'll get it." Both of their armor was the Mark VII MJOLNIR After settling down at the camp fire the two Spartans removed their helmets, Aurora was Asian a mix of Japanese and South Korean didn't explain the accent and last name, Her hair was long and wavy and what got Chief's attention was that her eyes were purple. Curie was French through and through her Eyes were blue and her hair was short and well-kept. Cortana:"If you don't mind me asking Aurora how are your eyes like that?" She chuckled Aurora:"Well to be honest I don't know, Before you ask about my accent, I'm adopted. And no I don't want to get into it." Curie:"We were bunk mate's and if I remember correctly Mendez always tried to separate us when one of us got nightmares." Cortana:"Why?" Chief:"The two were practically inseparable, But I didn't pay attention to them back then." The two Spartans laughed Aurora:"I still remember what happened when you lost that team exercise due to you not helping your team, And Sam giving you a mean left hook...God I'm going to miss him." Chief sighed but only loud enough for him to hear it. Cortana:"I went through the records. It turns out both of you received multiple citations for fraternization." Aurora:"Yeah and what of it?" Cortana:"I thought Spartan IIs couldn't feel emotions." Curie:"That's wrong, What they did was numb our emotions,But somehow that didn't work on us, even Dr.Halsey doesn't know how." Esparza:"So are you two...?" He was moving his finger back and forth between the two. As if to answer the question Curie leaned on Aurora Aurora:"What does it look like?" Curie:"Enough rambling please I'm trying to sleep" Aurora:"Sorry" And with that everyone went to sleep with Chief and Aurora keeping watch. Done, Don't get mad please I tried to explain it lore-friendly like.
Had been listening to Skyrim soundtracks while I work all day and didn't even notice the difference when the video shifted to this. That's the biggest compliment I can pay to this Halo soundtrack. (Never actually played Halo)
I'd never have made it so far through nursing school without Halo's music for studying, focusing on grinding out papers, and cramming for exams. I'm not done yet, but I have no plans of stopping. Finish the fight!
I’m listening to this to go to sleep tonight. I wasn’t joking when I said that during the premiere. The music is very calming and the sounds add to that. I have never played Halo, but I might try to see if I can on my computer. Just because of the music
Thank you for making and posting this. It makes me reminisce on the past and everything I've been through, both good and bad. However, these songs ultimately give me hope and that things will get better in time. Thank you again 🙏
SI TÚ ESTÁS LEYENDO ESTO DÉJAME DECIRTE, TU PUEDES ÁNIMO AÚN NO TERMINA LA BATALLA, QUIZÁS TE DERROTARON EN PELEA PERO LA GUERRA AÚN NO ACABA MUESTRA TU CORAJE Y TU VALOR Y SAL A VENCER AL ENEMIGO....Dios los bendiga!!❤❤❤❤ 🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽
I wish I had a good enough PC to play this, and I want to experience the wonder and visuals of Halo like I did back in 2001... I'll wait until I can afford a top tier PC so I can REALLY enjoy the experience of Halo when the time comes :D
There's a bundle with all the main games including the 4 that have been released on steam last year for the 25th anniversary. I recommend it ! :) Infinite is also available on computer, and i assume Guardian will follow too one day or another
Thank you for a beatiful video that transports the viewer into another realm. I feel like sitting in silence with someone would be perfect for these landscapes and this music, knowing that each one of us is thinking their own thoughts that are a mystery, yet in perfect union with each other. Like the trees, and the river water gurgling past, and the clouds up above: each its own, yet perfectly united.
Halo Infinite Campaign: 343i writing a love letter to fans of Halo 1-4 while acknowledging that it made some mistakes with Guardians and can change in good ways that can also modernize, like bringing forth The Banished from Halo Wars 2. The look, the Chief and Weapon-centric story, the weapon design and audio. But I think most of all, the soundtrack.
I'm still holding out hope that you will do something for Horizon Zero Dawn or even Forbidden West (or both), but I am VERY excited about this new Halo video. LOVE everything you do!
actually i was not hoping those tracks can be this emotional , i am actually crying right now , i am a hardcore halo fan since 1999 , and hearing the soundtracks just like nostalgia feels wonderfull
Takes me back to my childhood - playing Halo 1 on his xbox for hours - straigt out of school and taking on the campain on legendary. Life was good and easy back then. Sadly i lost track of him other after school because each of us went on their own adventure. I wonder how he's doing now...
I'm not a even a Halo fan. I played forgeworld with my brothers, but that's about it. This music is just wonderful and relaxing and I love studying/writing to it. Thanks for putting it up here.
Master chief, what are you doing with that sheet music? "Sir, keeping it away from the show so they can't ruin another aspect of our franchise". great compilation. love it
Halo fan since 1999 , read & listened entire lore and books , still discovering , I feel like what If I would have been grown up without HALO , I’m so proud that halo is half of my life , I’ll will die as a hardcore halo fan
This is giving me so much nostalgia-to the last Halo Ambience. 😂😂 I was reading an amazing book series and listening to it over and over, and now those beautiful vibes are all coming back. Thank you!!! Another Hunger Games ambience video would be awesome sometime in the future!!
just thought about losing my grandmother, I had a vision of listening to this after her passing and contemplating life. Don't want to regret my life, and that people do have to leave eventually, we don't have a choice.
Its really weird how halo ambient/slow music is so nostalgic and lonely. like it capture this weird and strange sense of isolation and hopeful nostalgia. Both bungie and 343 really made some great stuff that really fit in with both eras.
Meu perdi meu pai mês passado. E as músicas de halo infinite ficaram na minha cabeça por um bom tempo! Obrigado pai por ter nos amado tanto......🤍🖤......🕊
I took the fattest nap to this at work, got a giant piece of cardboard, laid it out on the floor in my office, got my backpack, and just knocked tf out. Next thing I know it's been 3hrs and there's a puddle of drool. Good thing I work overnights lol

The legacy of the chief is yours by right. But it does not exist in some distant halo ring. It's within us. All of us.! Within you. Yes you, who's reading this now. Whatever your life's challenges are. Know that I am rooting for you Spartan. You can overcome and persevere. I believe in you Spartan!
I think Halo is more than just a game for most people. It is a constant source of hope and inspiration for many. It is close to a religion for some with Master Chief almost being the current interpretation of Jesus Christ. Halo is deep within the veins of those who played it. It inspires because it gives us hope about what humanity could be like in the future, a space fairing civilization. Despite the technological advancements there will still be strife and war, but this is something humans and life have striven against for eternity. All we can do now is pass on the baton for those who come after us who will advance our species to something great. This dream seems dim and far, but that is all the more why we must continue to aim for the stars with unrelenting resilience and take the steps necessary to find the foothold that we can supplant our species into, so that it remains safe for the generations that are yet to come. Humanity is special, because we can think. Thinking causes mental illness when out of balance but if harnessed correctly it can build a Saturn V rocket to the moon. Use your thinking brain, use it properly. Don't let it use you, and learn how to be more human, be kind and love your neighbour. It's time to finish the fight, and get humanity back on track.
Hi, I love your videos! Is it possible you could make a Sweet Tooth inspired one? The soundtrack is one of the most beautiful ever and I would love to be able to study and work to it with sounds of nature in the background. :)
i dont like this mix i love it. i forgot all about halo music and ive been looking for some kind of music like this that isnt boring. so this rocks man thank you
I lost my mother some weeks ago, and up till now I haven't cried for her.
My condolences, keep persevering through the chaos and cherish the good times as you look toward the future.
Made me tear up, stay strong marine we will finish this fight
I am sorry for your lost. Remember that every tear is not a waste. May your mother rest in peace. Be strong and good moments will come. Best regards my dear friend
My deepest condolences brother. Losing a parent is one of the hardest parts of your life, but there is a silver lining to be had. Your mother raised a very thoughtful, strong, and determined young man. Give em' hell Marine. We love you.
The Halo theme is different from most shooter games I’ve played; it’s a quiet and peaceful theme, with a hint of loneliness.
yeah, i have noticed that. Its not the graphics that make the game real, its the music that brings it life.
Halo is the only game franchise that I can listen to the soundtracks while doin schoolwork
An extremely interesting observation. I wonder what it means. Why would the creators of Halo make such a choice?
although Coker, Schweitzer, and Corelitz did a great job on the Infinite soundtrack, all of the recognizable "Halo" melodies and themes are the work of Mike Salvatori and Martin O'Donnell - especially the latter.
I might be completely wrong, but that's how it's coming across for me
Every time I hear the Halo theme songs I travel back in time when life was easier
Same. Those times were just so much fun and a golden age for the video game industry. Halo will always be a huge part of my childhood/teenage years

Hey man watch “change your mind “ and “fantastic fungi “ can help with ptsd . Pray . Best of luck my friend

I'm glad to see this! Infinite made me really happy too and it's nice to know it did that for others.

And they didn't even credit him or Michael Salvatori. They're suing Bungie now (again).
I didn't mind 4 and 5's soundtracks, especially when 4 finally gave Chief a motif of his own, but this soundtrack is a gift to fans of 1-3 and Reach.
@@thetalesofdaneandco Yes good point
Man…Halo. This game is my childhood. So many core memories attached to it. It breaks my heart to see where it’s at now. Such an amazing franchise. Everything was perfect. I love Halo so much and I truly hope it makes a comeback. But until then…never forget. REMEMBER HALO

Peace be with you Ukrainian
Stay strong and stay safe my friend.
As a fellow Halo fan from Poland I hope you and your family are safe.
I still come back to this mix over and over again over the last two years. It's so deftly done. I'm at least a thousand of its 1 million views.

You’ll get through it, man. Good luck.

I listen to it every night
Halo will forever have a special place in my soul.
Can't wait for the premiere!
To those who are reading this comment, I hope you have a good day, and let your troubles exit this world.

I hope and pray that situations or mental darkness that are hurting you or stressing you resolve and that your heart will have peace.
this. just this.

I don't want to lose her and everyone i truly love and care for very much but it's something i can not do to stop time or anything, but if i did lose my grandma, i pray to god and Jesus to protect them, even everyone i love very much to protect them too, with thier guardian angels, and look after them, but theres one thing i know today, life is Short but in person life is long for them, it doesn't matter where you go but what natters is you always have friends, love ones and most pf all, families and together you build a ultimate tree house and i will always forever miss everyone i truly love and care for, i love you all with my heart 💛🩵🤍🖤

Hope you don't mind this
Chief and Cortana (The Weapon) as well as Esparza were camping out in the middle of a Meadow, The Pelican was nearby.
Esparza was stargazing
Cortana:"What are you doing?"
Esparza:"Stargazing, You want to try Cortana?"
Cortana:"Sure"
They both looked into the night sky of the Zeta Halo
Their Campfire's firewood popping every so often. Then Gunfire rang out, Chief sprung up Rifle in hand, Esparza pulled out his pistol.
Chief:"Where's it coming from?"
Cortana:"Our 12 o clock it's a Squad of Marines and...Two Spartans!"
Chief:"Their Status?"
Cortana:"Green,Wait one just disappeared"
Esparza:"How do you mean they disappeared?!"
A Spartan II Then decloaked in front of them
Esparza:"OH FUCK!"
The Spartan looked around and spotted Chief, they went ramrod straight and delivered a crisp salute
Spartan:"SIR"
The voice was female with a hint of an Slavic accent
Chief:"Identify."
Spartan:"Spartan Aurora-179 Sir"
Chief took a look at her armor it was painted Tiger Stripe like spec ops units were back in the Vietnam war of the 1960s and '70s most of the armor was configured for recon but there was one piece of her armor he didn't recognize.
Cortana:"1st Lieutenant Aurora Voycheck, Recon and Guerrilla warfare specialist."
Aurora:"Right on the dot but if you excuse me I have Marines to help, MARINES ALL CLEAR!"
A Squad of Marines appeared from the woods as well as the Second Spartan II, Their armor was a Grayish-White with the Red Cross on their shoulders, They were helping a Marine stand in the Marines hand was a shotgun.
Cortana:"And that's Spartan Curie-180 or 2nd Lieutenant Curie Burrow, Combat Medic."
Curie:"He has a broken Leg, anyone have any Biofoam, I used all I have in that firefight earlier."
The voice had a French Accent
Esparza:"There's a crate in the Pelican I'll get it."
Both of their armor was the Mark VII MJOLNIR
After settling down at the camp fire the two Spartans removed their helmets,
Aurora was Asian a mix of Japanese and South Korean didn't explain the accent and last name, Her hair was long and wavy and what got Chief's attention was that her eyes were purple.
Curie was French through and through her Eyes were blue and her hair was short and well-kept.
Cortana:"If you don't mind me asking Aurora how are your eyes like that?"
She chuckled
Aurora:"Well to be honest I don't know, Before you ask about my accent, I'm adopted. And no I don't want to get into it."
Curie:"We were bunk mate's and if I remember correctly Mendez always tried to separate us when one of us got nightmares."
Cortana:"Why?"
Chief:"The two were practically inseparable, But I didn't pay attention to them back then."
The two Spartans laughed
Aurora:"I still remember what happened when you lost that team exercise due to you not helping your team, And Sam giving you a mean left hook...God I'm going to miss him."
Chief sighed but only loud enough for him to hear it.
Cortana:"I went through the records. It turns out both of you received multiple citations for fraternization."
Aurora:"Yeah and what of it?"
Cortana:"I thought Spartan IIs couldn't feel emotions."
Curie:"That's wrong, What they did was numb our emotions,But somehow that didn't work on us, even Dr.Halsey doesn't know how."
Esparza:"So are you two...?"
He was moving his finger back and forth between the two.
As if to answer the question Curie leaned on Aurora
Aurora:"What does it look like?"
Curie:"Enough rambling please I'm trying to sleep"
Aurora:"Sorry"
And with that everyone went to sleep with Chief and Aurora keeping watch.
Grew up with Halo! Best shooting game back then.
“Asking’s Not my strong suit.” -The Master Chief on getting results.
I've literally been listening to this to bed.. genuinely helps me both sleep, and wake up feeling like a god who's been in eternal slumber
Honestly the best study mix to date, great work! To all my fellow students out there, stay grinding, you can make it!
Facts!!!! Btw you have some super cool videos on your channel💪🏻
Was in the same boat myself. Had to wait a while after Christmas to get a good enough GPU to run it at all.
There's a bundle with all the main games including the 4 that have been released on steam last year for the 25th anniversary. I recommend it ! :) Infinite is also available on computer, and i assume Guardian will follow too one day or another
It’s worth the purchase if you got the money and time
Try using a game streaming service. It will be cheaper temporarily than buying a rigged out computer.
buy a used one, hardcore gamers are always selling some ...
When you play this on headphones at night life just hits different

I'm still holding out hope that you will do something for Horizon Zero Dawn or even Forbidden West (or both), but I am VERY excited about this new Halo video. LOVE everything you do!
I’m sure I will in time! If they ever come to PC that would make it much faster :)
@@AmbientWorlds Zero Dawn is already on PC 🙂
Good to know! @@thibautpopelier9498
@@thibautpopelier9498 what about Forbidden West?
@@swordbreaker43 Not for now. But Sony wants to launch all their games on PC now. So Horizon Forbidden West will be on PC one day.
actually i was not hoping those tracks can be this emotional , i am actually crying right now , i am a hardcore halo fan since 1999 , and hearing the soundtracks just like nostalgia feels wonderfull
This is what I would say
Halo wasn’t even released in 1999
@@Ibrahim-wr5fsHalo the fall of reach by eric nyland was though, am I wrong?
@@flowerpower003 I thought that was in 2001
Takes me back to my childhood - playing Halo 1 on his xbox for hours - straigt out of school and taking on the campain on legendary.
Life was good and easy back then.
Sadly i lost track of him other after school because each of us went on their own adventure. I wonder how he's doing now...
This is so zen and tranquil. Thank you for the work you do! It has been my life blood of my BA in criminal justice.
I haven't played halo infinite but damn they got the music on point wow !
This is my fave ambient video ive lost count how many times ive fallen asleep to this lol
went to replay a part...tells me at 10:48 is the most replayed part. im glad we can all agree we needed to hear that more than one time
Halo is one of the most beautiful games ever made.
Thanks for compiling those nice music and ambient sounds !
This is great. The music is beautiful, it calms. I am sincerely grateful to you for it
This video help me when i cannot sleep and take me out from an anxiety attack, thank you
me too bro...🥹🇲🇽❤😴😴
This is giving me so much nostalgia-to the last Halo Ambience. 😂😂 I was reading an amazing book series and listening to it over and over, and now those beautiful vibes are all coming back. Thank you!!! Another Hunger Games ambience video would be awesome sometime in the future!!
The Halo books were amazing!
All of my favorite tracks in one compilation with spectacular visuals and Ambience. Perfection. 😚
This campaign was so insanely good. My GOTY for last year.
Thank you for making this it's helping me go through a hard time right now. It's really nice to listen to when I just need to think.
"Don't make a girl a promise if you know you can't keep it" -Cortana
"Don't make a girl a promise if you know you can't keep it" :)
No. Truer words ever spoken
This saying is one of the oldest cliches in history. It's NOT from 'cortana'. READ some books, people.
You shoulda reread that before posting it 😅
Never tell a girl a promise you can't keep
just thought about losing my grandmother, I had a vision of listening to this after her passing and contemplating life.
Halo music is something special...
By far the nicest halo mix of all time
*Your work has made me fall in love.* You have no idea how it helps me be more creative in writing my deeply emotional action novel. 💖
12:08 The Maw 2021 such a beautiful masterpiece
The visuals are super cool! And the sounds are magical💫
Just more proof that video games have some of the best soundtrack music around.
Thank you for another wonderful video full of beautiful music. Love the enjoyment and nostlgia that comes with listening to halo music.
Listening to this as I write the script for the largest video I will have ever produced. Thanks for uploading it.
Me encanta estooo, me ayuda a leer, relajarme en momentos frustrantes para poder analizar bien todo! esta musica es excelente para reflexionar, pensar, hasta dormir! y muchas cosas mas, me encanta!! Este sountrack es perfecto!
Bro I’ve been playing infinite pretty much every day since it came out, and have been WAITING for you to drop this 🙏
Can't wait! Keep up the good work Tyler, your vids are the bEsT
The thunder is so distant that I keep thinking I'm hearing it irl through my earbuds

God bless my father that lead me to Halo since I was Kid
Love You Too Brotha! I needed to read this today!
The very game that got me into gaming since 2004.
The sign of a new video/music to work on a fine weekend thanks!
The legacy of the chief is yours by right. But it does not exist in some distant halo ring. It's within us. All of us.!
Within you. Yes you, who's reading this now.

Been listening to this alot daily. Has helped me alot through work and all sorts 👽💙
Merci de tout cœur. C est intense et profond. J ai eu le sentiment de retourner à la maison...j ai été très émue
