fantastic suppressor host and finally you don't need a degree in Underwater Calculus Pie Baking to disassemble/reassemble.
I own a MarkIV Target model, added the rail on top and put a RMR on top. very nice gun! takedown on the IV is so much better than the previous versions!!!
Great gun! I just put 400 rounds through my MK IV today. I ran all 400 with a Dead Air Mask attached. I think this is my funnest gun to shoot now. It’s even better than my Colt GAU 5 A/A.
Such a fun/cheap gun, and very reliable! Glad you enjoy it as much as I do!
Lol what? They're not even the same gun 🤣🤣
It’s fantastic. The only opportunity I feel compelled to mention is the capacity. You can hold 10 rounds of 22lr in a closed fist.
Yeah I used to use a Mk3 22/45 for bowling pin shoots. Very reliable and ergonomic. A bit of a pain to disassemble but I guess they fixed that on the Mk4.
I have a collection of Ruger 22's from the first year Mark I's, II's, III's, and a long barrel IV. Just bought the Mk IV 22/45. Mine is the Lite model. You are correct, no threads or pic rail mounted under barrel. And some cutouts on the barrel shroud forward of the receiver. Have not shot mine yet. But can't wait to try it with my 22LR suppresser. This video has motivated me to take it down to the range. Have too many guns in the gun safe I have not shot yet. Ya, I'm one of those guys! ;) Ha-ha! The Mk IV is so much easier to break down than the MK III and earlier models. But sucks you can't use the older mags. No big deal though. Might have to look for a red dot for it. I like your set up. It's only a 22. But what a fun, and affordable gun to shoot! Thanks for the review.
Try out the Volquartsen bolt handle (or whatever it's called). I got to shoot a 22/45 with it and it basically eliminates the slippage thing. It ain't cheap, though. You can go into a rabbit hole of high end Volquartsen parts. Either way, gonna be even sweeter with the can on there.
Also, nice bar you got behind you there.
Thank you Cajun Catfish, I most defiantly will. 🥃
That was going to be my recommendation as well. Those appear to be the perfect mod for the Rugers.
I’ve got a 22/45 MKIV Tactical and a Lite. They both run absolutely exceptionally. One of the best suppressor hosts available.
I cant wait for my can to break free. Thanks for the feedback
Ho reliable has the lite been for you? Any issues with the Pic rail?
Rule of thumb for me is that if i have nothing good or productive to say i wont say a thing, but for the sake of the algorithm i’m gonna have to say something … i don’t like anything made by Ruger 🤪 … good video though Fox !
You should take a look at the sig p322 and Taurus tx22. I don’t think the sig was out at the time you got the 22/45
I picked up the FN 502 2 days ago, I am going to share it soon as well. I will checkout the others you mentioned as well.
Awesome!
I Got my hands on the Taurus tx22 and I love it. video coming in the future.
I have the tactical model too. I bought the new Sig P322 when it came out, and while the Sig was feature rich, it just felt cheap and plasticky. The Mark IV is the superior firearm. Sold the P322 to a coworker.
Since this video i have too shot the Sig p322, not a fan. I will say the new taurus TX22 is very nice and comfortable. I have some reviews coming soon on both, including the FN 502. Thanks for watching.
Great review, out of the 22 lr realm, I'm not a Ruger fan. Love the MK series and who doesn't love a good 10/22 👌
I'm with you here. Thank you for watching!
Kind of how i feel too. I respect Ruger's revolvers and want to like the Mini14 (but just kind of don't) but where they shine IMO is with their .22 LRs.
Just got the same gun but with their regular Nambu grip.
It's a very good gun the only thing annoys me is the need of inserting a mag into the gun for dry firing or lowering the hammer by dry firing.
Got to unload a mag and reload it. 😅😅
Good job 👍 😎
Thanks for watching. 🦊
Definitely want to sell my mk3 and get a Mk4. The ease of takedown is worth it. I always clean my firearms after use, so for me that ease of takedown is important.
.22 is a dirty little round so I have found I clean my 22's lots more than most of my gats.
That's awesome fox every 22 pistol I've ever had in my hands malfunctioned non stop but never picked up one of those that's why I stay away from 22 handguns
I can only say good this about this little Mark IV. You may snag one up in the future!
@@foxf6 how much fo they run?
500-550
@@foxf6 that's kinda steep for a 22 lolz I'll have to stick to 9mm glocks lolz but yea it looks nice man especially u put the red dot on it some of my family lives in Arkansas if u don't mind next time I come up that way maybe we can meet at a range and run some drills
While I was there, it worked 100% and that was with several types of ammmo.
Can’t decide between this or the lcrx 3” .22lr
Mark IV all day, only because you are gonna want to squeeze that trigger more than 6x.
It actually is spring loaded 9:27
Great Pistols Fox I Like Yours 😀😊
🧐🧐🧐
Well if you’re not a 1911 fan that explains the AK thing
Not sure what AK thing you are talking about?
Bolt=charging wings, lol
I like that. Lol
Red Bull?
@@misha5670 Well, Ruger, so, Fudd Wings.
I really hate these tactical 22s. The target and hunter are cool guns. Slap a rail on it and call it tactical and all the dbags will simp for it.
Drink much? 😂
Collect much. Not a big drinker really.
