I like your tour, it is so relaxing and not draggy. Love how you style it. Totally agree with the polka dot plants haha, always thirsty. My favourite plant would be heart shaped philodendron and Frydek.
At the beginning on the top shelf you called those plants you rescued “agave” but they are “samurai sansevieria” 😊 just some helpful info 😁 great video btw
Wonderful tour! You have such great pots/containers, could you share where you found some of them? What's your watering schedule? Where do you find most of your plants? Sorry so many questions ! I'm a new subscriber!
Thank you so much!! Welcome!! I got a lot of them from TJmaxx/Marshall’s, hobby lobby and Amazon. I check on my plants with a moisture meter every Sunday to see if they need water or not. Most of my plants are from local nurseries and Gabriella plants, also Etsy. Haha no problem! Ask away!! 🌿🤍
What you called a ric rac cactus: those long stems are going to be new leaves, your plant is growing 💗 and yes, they do love light! Next to the airplane"some sort of aloe-hayworthia. Rootrot??? Please use inner pots, that way the excess water can drain, vs plants standing in the leftover water... Your Cebu blue might not be one, but it's hard to tell with this light angle... Whatever the case you have a beautiful collection of plants, it was a lovely video, enjoy your green friends ❤️🍀👍
Yes exactly! Super excited for its new growth points since it was so small when I got it. I use inner pots in all my pots that don’t have drainage holes. Root rot can still happen. The cause for mine is I didn’t use to mix soils accordingly to the plant so all my plants got planted in heavy soils (my bad!) root rot can happen to anyone, I’m showing people that mistakes can happen when it comes to planting, and it’s ok. My Cebu blue came from a reputable nursery, so I know it’s real. But they are hard to tell unless you see them shine in lighting. Thanks for watching!! 🤍🤍🌿
@@BotanicalBrunette ohhh, in glad to read that that plant might this be in a pot with a drainage hole, even though it wasn't visible. Soil and heavy watering can certainly influence the water that gets stuck, inside the pot. And Cebu blue... I have had two mishaps with epipremnum pinnatum, before finally obtaining a Cebu blue 💙 it is silver looking, like a Philondendron hastentatum silver sword. It looked much greener than that on video. I do hope that it's a true Cebu blue for you! So many, even reputable sellers are mistaken with it, as they get it from their suppliers under the wrong name as well, only to make a much higher price (rare Cebu, vs regular epipremnum pinnatum.) I like your attitude, and will keep an eye out for new videos! 👍🙂🍀
Thank you so much! For growlights I use T5 Samsung lights (full spectrum). I got them off of Amazon. My windows in my plant room are NE & SE facing. 🌿🤍
Thank you!! Oh it was super easy to make! They’re eye screws that I had open to run the rings into then close them. I’ll be making a video on how to make them soon! 🤍🌿
The sleepy kitty is my cutest plant!! I actually wrote all those names in my video editing software myself. But. I know of an app called PictureThis where you can take a picture of a plant and it will identify it for you. It’s not always 100% accurate, but it gets you an idea of what it is. 🌿🤍
Thank you so much! So yes, most of them do. I have a few that don’t and I just have to quadruple check the soil moisture with my moisture meter before watering. I do add rocks to the bottom so that helps a little.
@@BotanicalBrunette I have one of my monstera in a ceramic ( ikea ) pot and she’s giving trouble with fungus gnats 🙄 I’m always triple checking. Actually my water meter should arrive Monday. I’m not the one who repotted it. And I don’t think it’s have drainage what so ever on the bottom of the pot. But she thriving like crazy. It’s winter here in Canada. She’s giving me 2 news leafs.
@@Amyspiglet oh that’s awesome, that moisture meter Will be a life saver! Yeah I have issues with gnats too. I’ve used a ratio of hydrogen peroxide to water and it kills them! You’ll have to goggle the ratio, don’t know it off the top of my head.
Aw thank you so much!! Well my pinstripe gets brown tips that I do snip off. I try to up the humidity and water it with distilled water. Hope that helps. 🤍🌿
Hi I am from Florida too. I just found your video today also I like all of your plants.Best of luck with your plants . Anyway which part of Florida you live??
The pink princess is growing out of a 2 inch stem cutting which needed the space to plant the stem appropriately. She’s small on top, but has a bunch of root growth.
