I have my air plants in fun planters. One is a penis planter and the I have my Medusa as the hair on my head planter.

My Miranta was given to me two years ago and I have not seen flowers, maybe because my cats like to eat the leaves. Any recommendations? Thank you.

I found mold on my plant, but I have the humidifier actually a vaporizer running high and I move the plant to the living room where it doesn’t get much sun or airflow so I have my magic love gonna dump the topsoil in the toilet then powder it was cinnamon.

People need to stop calling Hoyas "succulents". Many have succulent leaves ("succulent" as in a descriptor adjective) but they are not succulents (noun type of plant). I have so SO. MANY. people mistreating their Hoyas because they care for them the same as succulents. Because they're epiphytic (or some that are complete epiphytes) they can have similarities to some succulents in that they store water in their leaves to help survive dry periods and tend to like drier conditions, they are still not succulents. Call them epiphytes, not succulents. Putting Hoya and succulent in the same sentence is like saying orchids are succulents just because they also have water storing leaves. /rantover :)

I watched your raphe video. If your not using great white mychorzial treatment you have to start. It makes your plants grow so fast and causes these thick stout roots to grow! The science behind mycorrhizae is crazy! I pepper on the soil once a month to keep a healthy colony.

QUESTION, that brand and style is the black shelf in backbyour currently using? Can the wooden shelves be replaced with glass across?

It looks like your problem may be not enough coarse material in your soil mix. If you don’t want to use 100% leca maybe try mixing leca and orchid material? I’m pretty new at it too but I’ve been watching a lot of you tube videos on it.

What’s the trick to keeping a string of peal alive . I have killed 4 of them and I love the pink variegated ones. I love your eye mirror and all white planters. Do you have a plant shop on line?

I love your plants and your style. I love the large floor plants. I also grow some of my plants in water. I love hojas plants but hard to grow for me and keep dying. I think I may have over watered them. I feel the pothos are the easiest plants to grow. Love the disco ball nice touch.

Im 5 minutes in....and I've learned NOTHING about this plant other than you gave it spider mites. Humidity? Soil? Propagation? Fertilizer?

I am so grateful for this information. Thanks so much for making a really well thought out, informative video. I have a few air plants, but I couldn't seem to get them to do anything... other than die the first time around. These 4 plants I have now are alive, but they're not growing much, so I did a quick search of their water schedule, and I've been doing 30 mins a wk like you described. Today, I searched for a more comprehensive video, and I've found yours... It's perfect! I have a question. I hope someone reads this far down. I have one of the tightly bound tillandsia (like the second one you showed near the beginning) with deep "grooves" down the length of its leaves. Would it be ok to soak it with the others, thoroughly shake out the excess water, and lay it in facing a very small desk fan at low speed? I've been doing this and haven't had a problem with rot... yet. However, I've only done this about 3, maybe 4 times so far. I just wonder if this is something you have tried, and if so, did it lead to rot down the road? Or, I wonder, am I just essentially canceling out the watering by then drying it out too much with the fan? Your method of turning it upside down and pouring water over it until it looks well saturated seems like a really smart method! Maybe the best advice I've heard yet. Especially with colder weather approaching. Any guidance on whether I should continue or cancel the drying with a fan would be appreciated. I just don't want to kill these plants... this time. Again. 😂❤

Hi ! Just found your channel! Wondering if you can help me with a Hoya issue. Due to a container mixup, I accidentally watered it with rubbing alcohol instead of water ugh! . I rinsed the soil through right away with water a couple of times But not sure if this helped clear it out. What should I do? Is this a lost cause? It's been a few weeks and she doesn't look healthy

I have a shelf which all my house plants sit on and most of them have the white mold would it be helpful it I got a little fan and had it blow air on the plants so there’s more circulation for the soil? The ceiling fan above the shelf is always on and my apartment is usually at 68 degrees would that be a factor into the mold growing on the soil? I have 3 spider plant and they all have mold on the soil

For years I thought Air plants were just a plant selling scam from nurseries because I could not keep any alive. Interesting to see hoe many people can keep these alive. Im still skeptical I can keep one alive. Might try again.
