Hi, congratulations! Loved watching all the plants. I have been struggling with my Pilea too. Just found out that the key is lots of sunlight and very airy soil. Mine got to the point of root rot. I rescued them and put them in water for 2/3 weeks. When they got plenty of roots, I replanted them in soil with lots of orchid bark and perlite. They are now sitting near a south facing window and very happy.
You aren't doing anything wrong with the ZZ. They are slow growing , but should pick up this spring. Maybe you could put it nearer to a window. More light makes ZZ grow faster. HOYAS like a lot of bright indirect light , you might put the Hindu Rope nearer a window to see if that helps the growth
You're honestly soooo sweet!! It's actually inspired me to film a house plant video - i thought you had to film with loads (like over 100 plants) but I'm like you - i have a bout 35 plants too! Yours look just sooo healthy and lovely! Can't wait for the next video!
I am in Columbia and haven’t heard of the plant shop you mentioned in Blythewood. I can’t wait to check it out. I watched another plant RUclipsr who sings the praises of cactus club and I’m planning a trip up there soon. If you’re in Columbia again check out Jarretts jungle. It’s such a strange magical little plant shop. It’s my favorite. Beautiful plant tour.
Love your plants!🥰 if you need video suggestions: propagation video or regulat updates! Hauls, plants you struggle with or struggled with/what you learned from that, top 5 plants from your collection, when its possible again some plant shopping (dont have to buy plants just a tour around a plant shop for example!)☺️ Thats all I can think of right now. Your channel seems really cool!❤️
Your very lucky to have that silver stripe there hard to find here in where we are thanks for sharing your vedio beautiful plants tour new subscribers watching from California
For the string of pearl you need to be careful to put it in a very bright place ( it need to be fried by the sun) then it will put lots of new growth and be very healthy. 😁 I love your collection!!!
I found my cebu blue at Lowe’s 3 years ago. It’s in a chunky mix, and I let it dry out before i water it. I think I water it twice a month maybe lol. It’s on a shelf that’s over 6ft away from a south facing window. I cut it back last spring, and it’s down to the floor again.
I struggled with my pilea too! I didn't understand why people called them easy! Mine dropped a ton of leaves until I moved it to an east facing window and I started a more regular watering schedule because I was overwatering! I think they're just sensitive.
Hi, you have beautiful plants...your Zz plant looks fine...if you want it to grow more give it some bright indirect light, give the leaves a clean once a month or so, but it looks healthy and will be slow growing. I’m not sure which way your window is facing, and how much light comes into the room during the day, but your Ceropegia woodii could probably do with some more light. Mine sits in a West window that receives all day light and an hour of direct sun per day. Once spring arrives you can propagate them easily to fill out the pot if you want. The soil level seems a bit low though...
My window is southeast facing, so lots of light in the morning but not much after that. And thanks I'll move the ZZ closer, I do plant to repot in the spring as well! I'm just putting off all of my plant chores until then 😅
You have some really cool plants! I recently also started a channel after wanting to do a houseplant tour for a long time. Good luck to you and your plants! You seem like a natural in front of the camera!
For your Pilea/Chinese Money, they often go better with filtered water so maybe give that a try. I have also found with my Pilea and ZZ Plant, that they don't need watering until they are properly dry. So maybe you're overwatering 🤷♀️ But you're plants all look so happy so yay. You've also got me to add some more to my wishlist
I noticed in the US people get upset when a leaf or two turns brown; A plant is a living thing. Leaves will turn brown and fall off. It's a natural process. Clean up and keep your plant.
It definitely is a natural process! It is also a good sign of over/under watering or nutrient deficiency, I don’t mind but I like to make sure it isn’t from an underlying issue!
I used wires to create mine. I believe they are called baling wire. I bought it from Atwoods (about $7). I also bought a pair of pliers. Then simply cut two same size pieces and wrapped them to add sturdiness. I am also always looking for wires at thrift stores. Found a nice sturdy copper wire once, which now supports my Hoya Krimson Queen.
It’s actually a funny story 😂 so I wanted a U bamboo trellis which they sell on Amazon but never bought one, so I cut some leftover plastic hangers that you get at Lowe’s or home depot attached to the pots, and I melted them together with a lighter! Probably not safe to breathe in but it only took a minute and it is a great way to repurpose those which I don’t use!
@@dhrubas4692 Thanks! I have been looking for a thicker wire but wrapping it together is a great idea. Is it safe to use copper wire? I’m just a bit worried it would transfer into the soil?
Great video! Supposedly golden pothos lose their variation and revert to all green if they don't get enough light. Your begonia reminds me of a "My Special Angel" but I dunno.
heyy! just wondering why you have to chop off the leaf to your variegated philodendron silver stripe? is it your preference to have darker leaves or is that an indication that the plant isn’t healthy? thank yooou x
an all white leaf doesn’t have any chlorophyll so it won’t be able to photosynthesize and makes more work for the rest of the plant! They sometimes just fall off on their own. It actually hardened off as a solid light green leaf, which surprised me! But I won’t chop it now!
Hey there! At the time of this video I had a different one that actually died on me and was just a pain. I just got a new one (I'll add the link), it doesn't hold as much water but it works much much better! www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0891YBK62/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It took maybe a month and a half to even start showing baby roots. The key is cutting the V shape (it gives more surface area for the roots to grow and keeps them from being pressed against the bottom) and changing the water WAY more frequently than you think you should! I’ve killed so many snake plant propagations and was so excited all three of these worked!
Absolutely loved this video. Subscribed straight away. Looking forward to more videos. Keep up the good work. You’re a total natural behind the camera 😄🌱💚🌵🌿🍀. Plant hugs 🤗 from the U.K.
I got a curly lipstick plant this winter from Home Depot. I'm waiting for it to bloom. Which direction is your window? I have my lipstick in a SW windeow
It is an east facing window! She has TONS of baby blooms but most of them fall off before they get mature and beautiful :/ but she has done it one! it was spectacular
Just so you know that Moonshine leaf cutting will not grow new Moonshine growth..it'll be the reverted version of it. That's what happens with hybrid Snake plants unfortunately.. still a fun thing to do! I learned that from experience and then asked on a snake plant FB group.
It a leaf is all white it doesn’t have the ability to photosynthesize! It is beautiful but will cost the rest of the plant more to maintain. But! As this leaf has been hardening it actually looks like solid light green so I’ll probably leave it :)
Yes! It originally was just light blue and I used indigo dye from Amazon (also called shibori) and just googled how to us it :) and thank you that may be it!
ugh i WISH there was a cebu blue at my local lowe’s!! you’re so lucky, and great vid, keep doing what you’re doing!! ☺️

I'm originally from Charlotte, NC too! I was like "omg a planty youtuber talking about places I have gone!!"
