I got one of these plugs with a visor light bar. It is really useful if you only have one "light" that you use, not if your entire car is covered in lights though
I want to go just the opposite, ditch that type of lighter socket switch to a hardwired set up. Do you have any videos on that? Want to hardwire 2 lights with 1 power and 1 momentary.
Will this work to a direct single headlight? 12v headlight, if I don’t connect the white light just the ground and positive to the light? And what do you mean by connecting to the battery can I run it without doing that?
As long as the Headlight isn't drawing more than 10amps, then this should work fine. Yes, you can just plug into a 12volt outlet. Also, we no longer offer this item but there are similar ones available on Amazon and other 3rd party websites.
We're no longer offering this Lighter Plug, but it is something you can find online if you search "12volt plug-in with on/off and momentary switch". Depending on how your light changes patterns, you can now find this with a ground momentary switch as well as a positive option. Thanks for checking.
cool! ...what if my pattern change needs a ground signal versus the positive 12 volt it seems outputted from your harness here? Is there a different part for a ground side version?
+ialokinstein Currently we are only offering this one for positive 12Volt Pattern Changing. We have seen a few clients open them are move the wire from positive to negative for negative pattern switching. You'll need to re-solder the connection inside.
Connecting both of the lead/power wires to the same switch / input on the controller should do it. You're welcome to call us as well for help: 888-959-0911. Please ask for tech services.
I have a loose wire in the switch and have no ideal wear to solder it back to. Can you help with a photo of the inside. It's a yellow with green stripe. Any help would be nice. Thanks
6 years ago, but worth an ask. I have this exact setup, but the wires were yanked out of the base of the switch. I opened it up and can’t figure which wire to solder where. Can you open up the switch to show that? Long shot I know but worth an ask.
We actually have a picture which shows the inside solder points of the wires. Please send an email to "ChrisA@sirennet.com" and he'll get you fixed up with it.
does the momentary send a quick blast of 12v power to the fixture to tell it to change pattern? or the opposite, it has constant 12v power and you are momentarily cutting the power telling it to switch?
A switch like this will be perfect for your On/Off control. You can then add a second, same style, or a spring loaded / push on&off momentary switch, for pattern changing.
How do I fix the tiny indicator light on the plug in socket. The fuse is good and the strobe works fine but I can't tell if the strobe is on from the car inside. Thanks
Thank you Mr Chris.
Nice and easy 🎉🎉

Hello, it's 2-11-23 and I don't see product code on your website. Are you still making it? Different label perhaps?

Why don’t you add a few more letters to the model of the plug. How would someone possibly remember that, what’s wrong with ABC-123?
How can I wire up my front visor lights to come on at same time as the rear window lights?

What kinda switch do you us if you hard wire the power. And you want a different switch to change the patterns....

I need a video how to fix the power switch that goes into the 12 volt cigarette lighter plug... the whole switch feel apart.
Do you still have the little black screw?
Could you use this with a fenix fusion stick light 400?
yes it will
@SIRENNET will this work as with a 15in led light bar
What's the power draw of your bar?
That long name! Lol
Can u connect more than one light to one single switch
You sure can; just make sure the combination doesn't exceed 10amps.
@@SIRENNET awesome perfect thanks
I like you guys but everyone sells this cord! Just saying lol. Great informative video though!
+znovosad555 Thank You. It's a very popular Plug to use with Emergency Lighting Equipment. :)
