I didn't know that Johnny's cabin was behind the Inn. Cool! We really enjoy visiting Lake Lure. La Strada restaurant is delicious with huge portions. The beach area is fun. We go to Lake Lure via Chimney Rock Road (from Hendersonville). It isn't very far. Maybe 15 miles from downtown Hendersonville to the LL marina. The road is curvy for only about 3-5 miles of that and is not bad at all. Now, to Rumbling Bald is another 5 or more miles of curves. I have stayed there and it does seem further to a town from that side.
There are some lovely homes out Chimney Rock Rd. about halfway between Hendersonville and Chimney Rock. Great area that is close to everything!. Day trips to Asheville, Brevard, Chimney Rock, Blue Ridge Parkway, Lake Lure, etc.
I’m pretty sure Johnny’s cabin has been rebuilt. But the hall beside it is where they used to meet before the movie to get ready for the day. It’s such a beautiful area and yes, it does depend on which side of the lake you’re going to whether it takes a longer time or not. Thank you so much for watching and thank you for your comment.
Nice! Thanks for spending the day in Lake Lure!
That was easy to do! So glad we had a good day for it too! Thank you 😊
Someone on fb posted a storage shed set up outside of a Home Depot so I captioned it "Cozy Charmer close to shopping !!!! : every realtor ..ever."😊
Haha! I love those memes. It definitely feels true sometimes.
But all of my nonsense being said and I'm sure it doesn't matter.Because you're the professional and you guys are the home owners and all that.I just want to say that your videos are awesome and obviously.I hope you sell lots of properties and make lots of money🎉
Thank you so much, I have a really nice time making these videos and helping people see different parts of western North Carolina.
I love visiting the Lake Lure Flowering Bridge! It is a windy road down from Black Mountain. Also, I peeped that Florida Gator hat on the dashboard!! Go Gators!
Yes! The flowering bridge is so cool!
Great video!
Awhhh! Thank you, Richie! If
You need a home, ya know. 😊
There are many lakes in western North Carolina. Lake Lure is in the middle of nowhere.
It can be out of the way for sure but also stunning.
My wife was so sick after taking her to Lake Lure, she spent the entire day in the motel after driving the twists and turns up the road! And she really stressed out when we had the Black Ice on I40 and I26! Well, we are still here in Ohio!
Do you all have any snow or ice in Ohio? Yes some people get so carsick. I’m very lucky with that but usually I’m the one driving anyway.
@@livinginasheville Yes we get some snow and Ice in Brunswick, Ohio! However, it has been quite lite the last years up here! I think our people in Florida and Arizona have suffered more with the heat and fires these past covid years!
Nice boat!!❤
We were so lucky to go out that day!
If you want to protect North Carolina's economy and the local people who may not be wealthy. Then you should definitely make purchases somewhere on the state level. That should create protection whereif you have a purchase for an airbnb. Income typed property that it has to be owned by a local someone that's a resident of the state. If not, you're gonna have the problem that Florida has where people home all over the place that Johnny will live here bought up all the properties and people can't be able to afford rooms for it. And everyone's like practically homeless, except for like all the new yorkers who moved here. Because they sold their house 48 hundred dollars and it came down about it 44 hundred thousan
Yes, this definitely happens.
I bet that Condo is $395,500.
Good guess!!!!
Some of the beach communities in Florida are petitioning for this now.The local owners are so tired of all of the people coming in from everywhere and being disruptive and trashy and loud and leaving a footprint. And running what used to be a nice beach area or a nice quiet relaxing zone
Oh wow, interesting!
We vacation here some and the price of the homes on the lake 😮
Yep! I hear ya! Beautiful though!
Probably as the husband, I am afraid to ask my lovely wife to go someplace that if I had the big one, and my Lord would call me home, she would be alone! At least here in Ohio, my three sons and 4 grandkids, and our friends are here to help us go through our losses of our friends and family members! Maybe we will live long enough for our sons to retire and move to NC, and we will see the Blue Ridge Mountains again!
Come on over!
Well, Beth, Nobody puts Baby in the Corner!!!!!!
You remember that from the movie?
That big house for $1.6 million is grossly overvalued especially if it ONLY grosses $100K a year. What a lousy investment that is. 16 years to cover the mortgage ONLY. How many more years to recoup the insurance and taxes? 5 more years? NOPE.
I hear that you are not interested in this property 😊. All good.
