- An original talent, I've listened to a few Björk songs, but I want to hear more since she's been requested. This one gets a bit dark, but it just has a little bit of everything I love. Dang.

Unravel by Bjork is haunting and beautiful.
This is one of my favorite songs of all time. I love Bjork so much. If you enjoy Bjork, you should check out Aurora. She's a newer artist but she reminds me of Bjork in a way. If you listen to Aurora, pick a live performance. Her live stuff is 100x more impactful than any of her studio stuff. Actually, on that note, I'd love to see you react to a live Bjork performance. She's absolutely amazing live. I feel like it's the correct way to experience Bjork. The Royal Opera House performance is amazing.
Bjork is Bjork, take it or leave it. She is so unique, just doing her thing, like no one else can!

My fave by her is "Human Behavior". Her old band The Sugarcubes had two songs I like: "Birthday" and "Motorcrash".
Hit is also great.

I listen to Birthday two or three times a week. Mostly when I am cooking. Kicks my ass everytime.
Leila who worked with Bjork is incredible. Underwaters is beautiful from her classic album Like Weather. Tanya Tagaq the Canadian Inuk throat singer is special too, if not for the faint-hearted.

This beautiful floating trip is the second track on the album Post. The first track, Army Of Me, is a prowling, menacing beast - so different, but so Björk. I'd recommend it also.

Give Björk’s Enjoy a listen! It’s an animal beat and melody all on its own.
Bachelorette and Hunter off of the next record are phenomenal too. Oh So Quiet was probably her biggest hit off of Post at the time which I only recently learned was a cover of a much older song. And as much as I like Bjork overall I became an immediate fan of the original.

Other female songs to listen to, Republica- Shout It Out, Sneaker Pimps- Six Underground and Spin Spin Sugar plus many more. Especially off Blood Sport. But thats when they changed singers. Its a long story. Varuca Salt - Volcano Girls and Seether. The Cardigans- My Favourite Game. So many strong female lead singers.
Also, I know I said this on another comment somewhere but Tori Amos. Great artist. Raspberry Swirl is a song she wrote about her best friends clitoris. She's the bees knees.
