First, let me take a moment to say, THANK YOU FOR THE ABSENCE OF MUSIC! I get so inundated with music no matter what type of tutorial I watch, that I exponentially appreciate just the simplicity and pristine silence of only ambient sounds. Next, wow. Just wow. The creativity. The expertise. The tolerances you hold; impossible! The beauty. The vision. I always start out wondering what you’re doing then my jaw drops as it comes together. Magical.
Not really but I did a large segmented donut that had random types of wood glued all over the place. But I do have boxes full of scraps I have been thinking of something similar. But your pieces in a bowl of glue was brilliant!
When you started this video I thought "Where the heck is he going with this ?" Amazed at the final result, the variety of colours & the patterning in the vase, another truly beautiful & inspiring piece.

Well done. When you dumped the blocks into the bowl of glue I thought you were just making a big mess. Makes sense now that speed was going to be your friend in getting this blank all glued up. Looks great.
Yeah, if you brush each piece as you go on something like this it’ll start to bond on the first piece by the time you get to the last piece, then when you clamp it you’ll break the initial bonds on the first pieces and as you know that’s bad news. Salad dressing technique here. Works a treat. Easy to pour the excess back into the bottle once your done.
This piece is fantastic looking I love the cubism look. You do very very good work on what ever you make. His All Mighty gave you a gift and I thank Him for it. And sure you do to.
