This is a great video. I got monetized in 5 weeks a few months ago and the struggle is real! Keeping my place tidy and pretty with kids while filming is a challenge but it’s doable! Honestly there is space here on RUclips for everyone! Weather you are keeping it real kinda messy but authentic or clean and always aesthetically pleasing. Someone will relate to you! I can attest to this! I stopped caring about the AESTHETIC profile on Instagram and I have already been noticing a HUGE change!

Completely agree!!! Sooooo many times I have content I want to share but don’t feel like getting completely done up or don’t feel even done up I’m presentable enough. The focus should be on the content and not how “pretty” I look. Thank you for reinforcing this idea.
I love this. I totally agree. I make videos in my kitchen on the sofa and even on the patio. It’s all about the content that resonates with your audience. That’s what is most important. Now we can relax and just give good value

Loving these tips as I definitely feel like not having an aesthetically pleasing background and appearance was a mental excuse for me not to make more videos during the past 3 years. Now, I'm committing to creating more "podcast" style videos because my messages are the bomb, so I am not going to let a poorly decorated room deter me from sharing!

I used to vlog back in my 20s and never realized until now how many ppl actually enjoyed it. My content was never scripted nor aesthetically pleasing. I plan on trying it out again with the same mindset I had back then. Thank you! 🙏🤍
Thank you for sharing this with us, Erin. I remember when I first started creating content, I was super insecure about my bedroom/home office not looking aesthetic, but I’m glad I pushed through. The whole “aesthetic” thing is definitely put on a pedestal.

What a great and timely video! Aesthetics look good, and I love them, but it isn't always pretty behind the scenes. I find that anytime I try to make things look or seem better than they actually are, it feels overwhelming and exhausting (which is a telling sign, that girl, if you can't show up as you and feel good about it, it makes no sense) - often times the BTS looks like a mess, and things we are working through that we can share and that others can appreciate.

Yeah the content that took me less than 3 minutes to film went viral on tiktok. It was beyond low effort and still got me sales but it was mainly the subject (my art) that people like. But interesting enough that same video didn’t perform that good on RUclips shorts but the content that took me a bit more time to do. Still low effort but more quality, it went viral (compare to my reg numbers) on RUclips shorts but not on tiktok 😂😂 social media is crazy

I told my subscribers from the jump, you get what you get I’m a human single mother and it is not always pretty…even did a cleaning video where I cleaned poop a child thought was a funny prank on their siblings
I half agree and disagree with this because depending on what niche you’re in if you’re in lifestyle or fashion or entrepreneurship and you’re trying to teach people how to start businesses how to become an influencer, etc. you need to look the part you need to look believable and who wants to purchase a course from you and your page looks tacky And unprofessional. That’s the reason why I watch your channel because your background looks professional.😅 🤷🏽♀️

@StaciLeaBeauty Once I started seeing all these creators' homes with no pictures, plants, or any color, I knew something was off. Apparently, if you have over a 100k, you can rent out homes and pretend they are yours. They're called creator homes. I wish I had thought of it. Lol
@@flourishwithflowers_ Really! Pretty soon nothing is going to be real! I had no idea they rent homes but that makes sense why a lot seem to have the same vibe.
@@StaciLeaBeauty This is what I think when it comes to 'real" I think people are going to get tired of all that fake stuff. They will start to look to creators who are more authentic and not faking the funk all the time. Those are just my thoughts. Those white walls and one plant is really getting old.
