I wish I had listened to you on this a long time ago. So now I’m giving my blood sweat & tears to RUclips. After 4 years of trying to juggle multiple platforms (5+), burning myself out & not seeing a $$$ return, I’m FINALLY prioritizing my RUclips.

I totally agree with you and have been doing the same thing trying to juggle, have burnt myself out, and been discouraged to the point of being absent for months to near giving up. I am now motivated to give it all to YT and am creating fresh new content on a regular schedule so I can FINALLY get monetized! Thank you for this video, Erin and congrats on the family!

A lot of big youtubers focused on youtube before going to tiktok and insta
I create a youtube video. i take clips (shurt form) from that video and post it on other platforms with a link back to my youtube channel, I take the script from the youtube video and turn it into a blog post with the youtube video embedded . when my blog post goes live an email blast goes out to my email list letting them know a new blog post has been published. that is my strategy.

@@ChardaeEveryday hope they answer. And I know you can pay opus clips(and others) 20.00 mth to make 12 or so small vertical video from one of your horizontal videos but I want to know if someone can tell me a way without me having to pay.
Agreed! I left instagram. I don’t have fb. I like RUclips! After gaining almost 10k tik tok I realized that platform really doesn’t resonate with my spirit. I have to do what I love. I’m now focused on doing what I love.❤ Great advice!

I implemented it when you said it a few months ago....and I've been WAY less stressed and more focused. My content is much more valuable because I'm focused on one platform.

Thank you sis☺️. I needed to hear this message. I'm a 51 year old who just started this journey a year ago just wanting to encourage people...more so caregivers, because that's my ministry of work. I've had to learn the process of creating videos as I go. Zero experience! But I do have to say it's fun for me, but when I start thinking about putting my videos on all of these different platforms, that's when I start stressing and it's no longer fun. Thank You! It's Pinterest for me because Instagram, Tik Tok and Facebook do not compare. Pinterest has allowed me to create a community and valuable change. Pinterest seems to help me with growth a lot more than any other platforms.

Yes I do the same exact thing but sometimes it still takes so much time for me to edit and condense my RUclips long form video down because I try to make sure that I put all the good parts in the short. Even though I feel like I shouldn't over think that part too much

I was the blogger/youtuber who quit social media. Recently came back to X, deactivated my Instagram. Current focus is Blog, RUclips, newsletter and then X for the scraps. Love the way you worded it! 👏
I was just telling myself focus on TikTok because that is where my audience is and I got my answer thank youuuu Erin 💕💕
For right now I’m trying to gain 1,000 subscribers on RUclips. I will focus most of my energy on making videos on here and not try to be on every platform.

This is helpful, I out focus on TikTok, because the style of my content (casual conversations, reading) worked better there. RUclips is a distant second and I stopped everything else for now.
I am doing the samething! This year I focus all my energy on RUclips then I took clips to do shorts and post on TikTok ones a day. Hoping to have at least 500 subs by the end of the year here on youtube.
As a new content creator, I really appreciate your honest opinion even if it's going against the grain and against the general consensus. I 100% agree with you. Just focus on one thing, get good at it, and then move on to other things. Thank you for your refreshing honesty!

I totally agree to this, i tried using meta, RUclips and TikTok and i just couldn't keep up but now focusing fully on RUclips. Started RUclips a week ago from 0 followers and am at 26 subscribers. I feel stressed already but here for the tips and motivation

Thank you so much for this video. I think I needed to hear this again because I just told myself that I really need to just start focusing on 1 platform. Focus on the main one first, the one that I'm actually getting paid from which is RUclips. Or at least focus on my main for first then continue to repurchase my videos after I condense it down to 60 seconds or less. One thing that I will say is that I do Repurpose my Long form RUclips videos to Short form 9:16 shorts, even though sometimes condensing my videos down do take a lot of time.

I heard this advice in the beginning when I started last year. My focus is RUclips, but I’ve found a great method of chopping up the videos I post here using AI, into Reels and shorts.

I then use the Meta Business suite to upload those clips and posts to Facebook and Instagram simultaneously. It’s really just a few clicks.

TikTok I utilize as a “quick thought/comedic” angle to the content I do, also with those clips.

My advice is to utilize tools and AI tools everywhere you can to reduce the workload.

But this video is very right, focus on the platform you want and making that the foundation.

Girl I feel you on that one. I juggle 5 myself and not sure why. It also causes me to overthink the whole process then I end not posting at all as well or go weeks without doing so and then I start to overthink that as well. But it's all good. Were going to get it together and now start doing what makes sense

I’m always going back and forth between RUclips and Instagram. RUclips always yields me the best results: more clients, Adsense, affiliate etc. But takes so much time and effort and as a new mom I don’t have much time
Instagram is so much easier to create content for me but doesn’t yield the same results especially because I have a newer account. So I’m still trying to figure it out 😭

This is good, I have not found my rhythm at all because I've been trying to be everywhere where I just burnt out. I want to focus on RUclips and then use my down time to focus on linking my RUclips to Pinterest. RUclips feels manageable for me
