I agree with number one. In fact, we could also have full videos to post (lets say, between 30 & 90 complete videos), for when we can't film anything, or for when we can't edit. So, like if we wind up sick, or away for work, or something. We can just grab two or three or four videos & schedule them to go live during the time that we're out (since they're already finished and ready to go), and none of the viewers would ever know that we were gone. Cause they still saw us, and the video would have been filmed in such a way where nobody would be able to tell the difference.
Love the tip about shooting in wide angle and repurposing for other platforms! Never thought about the importance of how wide-angle shots will make it soooo much easier to repurpose!
This confirmed that it’s time to stop overthinking and just press record. My RUclips channel is growing a lot from my shorts. I’m ready to start posting vlogs again. So thank you Erin. ❤
You were def speaking to me in this! Especially with how trying to figure out what to post can be overwhelming....so much so that I often just be like..."Forget it, just not posting today!"😩 But I'm just now getting back to business so your vid was right on time. Thanks so much for sharing!🙏🏽 You got me as a subscriber 😊
This was so helpful! Would love to see a video on time-saving tips like this for those of us who make tutorial-based educational content where it can be challenging to batch or repurpose. The B-roll library has helped me to much! Also, any tips for how you easily find certain clips? Do you use the file names, tags, etc. to describe what’s in the video?
I love this sort of content! My struggle sometimes is just finding an efficient way to archiving old content. That would make it easier when repurposing. Right now, my folders go year, month, date-video. Ideally I would split landscape from verticle and have a proper way to organize content I plan to repurpose but alas, organization can be tricky and I don't plan ahead enough for other platforms.
Thank you for sharing these tips! Trying to do better with creating a stock video library. I think it’s the one of the things I’m missing that would make creating content a lot easier.
Love this video I’m saving it to a my YT tips playlist! I’m struggling to grow my YT channel with how much time my full time job takes up. These are such good ideas for me to be able to post more consistently and I’m going to start implementing them today! Thank you for your advice as always ❤
Having a simple video set up will deffo help. If after a long day it takes effort to film you will pass on it and fall behind. It really helped me keeping my recording stuff out
Great topic, I personally just deleted instagram, TikTok and Facebook I need a break . All I focus on now is my RUclips channel. Nice tip about the wide angle shot .❤
Loved this video! I woukd like to ask what is a good starter cameras when just starting out?? as we know the really good cameras are super expensive/out of the budget at the moment.
This video was very helpful. Congratulations again on becoming a Nikon partner. The Nikon Z30 sold out on Amazon. I should have bought it last week when I first looked at it. Anyway, thank you for this valuable information 😎

I like to stockpile videos too. If I'm having a good day I record 2videos instead of just 1. It's good to have backups for bad days
