I didn't know anything about vision boards but back in 2013 I moved to Russia and as I felt lonely I decided to surround myself with pictures of my italian favourite village and beaches and sailing boats which I love. After 2 years without even realising I found a job in that very same village, moved on a house by the sea and met the love of my life who had a sailing boat. Vision boards are powerful!!!
Great video Jillz! I have another tip to share. We can make a Pinterest board filled with all the pics we want in our vision board and then add this board as a widget on our phone. This way our phone will display our vision board pics one at a time on loop.
what do you mean on loop? after i select multiple photos, when will the photos replace themselves? every day? every few hours? or do you have to switch photos manually?
The best tip I got for vision boards (I don't remember who said it) is using your own pictures of past positive experiences you want to repeat on it, it's an extra step into making your goals look and feel achievable because you already did it once

Crazy story - I did my first vision board back when I was a junior in high school. It was definitely not well planned out but I put things I liked. One of them was a picture of a lawyer and law schools. After 6sh months, I put away the board and forgot about it for years. I ended up going for a business degree and forgetting about the law completely. Though in 2021, when my friend applied and told me, I left my marketing career and applied (based on a gut feeling). In 2022, when I was cleaning the basement, I found my high school board and realized that I “accidentally” did so many things on my vision board without even realizing (including law school). I haven’t stopped making boards since
My first vision board was in the mid 70’s and I called it a collage. I was really just getting rid of a stack of magazines but saving my favorite images. I hung it on the back of my childhood bedroom door and woke up to it daily. Decades later when I found it again, I realized how many of those things had happened! The exact locations, clothes, etc! Now I make a new vision board any time I feel like making a change and I save images for years sometimes before using them. Focus is powerful!
Money and time saving tip- I use a fabric bulletin board and aesthetic push pins, print the photos out on cardstock and the end result ends up looking very similar to yours, but I don’t have to invest in a new board every year. I add and remove things when they are relevant or not, for example after my wedding and building my dream salon I removed those photos, but my health and fashion habit inspo stay from year to year unless I find a more fitting, updated inspo pic for those categories. Keeping it in the closet is genius and prevents me from stuffing my closet cuz I have to keep my vision board visible!

I spent 2 days following this video and made my 2025 vision board. I just ordered it on printed canvas. I only put realistic and deeply inspiring photos, even my husband is inspired by it. This is SO helpful, i made several massive vision boards that seemed to have exactly what I wanted but I wouldn't let myself FEEL each image because i felt anxious about feeling - the reason feeling and connecting to the vibe of my images was so hard, was because i knew if i really took time to connect to it I would really start to want it, and then the self sabotaging part of me said "if you really care about and want this then its going to stress you out, pressure you, cause you to get jealous of other people who have it or obsess about it to the point that you're too paralyzed by fear to try and manifest it." Studiously watching this video and taking notes really helped me see why my magic/manifesting abilities have been so ineffectual and almost stressful. Thanks Jillz!
One of the first memories I have of a vision board coming into fruition is from 16 years ago. I made it with some friends on a full moon and we set them in the garden under the moonlight after we were finished. One of the pieces of paper I had cut from a vintage magazine had an odd amount of money (cars used to sell for prices like $3,626 instead of ending in 999), and the short term gig I had at the time paid me the exact amount as my ad clipping the next month. Since then numerous elements from my vision boards have materialized. I think the next step is adding photos of myself and loved ones to the board.

I made a vision board because of you!! I used the free version of Canvas, as you suggested. They had so many templates. Now it's on my personal and work laptop screens! Jillz this is lovely, thank you! I've been doing vision boards for the past 2 - 3 years and the more I do it the more things come true. I actually make mine on pinterest directly and prefer to intentionally scroll through it before I put my phone away before bed. I like doing it before bed so it's fresh in my subconscious and can "simmer" as I go into sleep state. I like seeing them on my phone screen because then I only see like 3 pics at a time and it's easier to intentionally engage with each pic. I don't "section it off" eg, lifestyle, fitness career etc. I prefer to scatter and am intentional about putting 2 - 3 pics that represent the same goal because as you mentioned, repetition is key. I have never done a vision board. But with that being said I know you can manifest in life. As an artist I keep a leather Traveler's Journal with me all the time. As I was getting ready to start this years I was unsure how to start. You gave me that intro to my sketchbook/Journal. My vision board will be the first double page. Dear Jillz, my previous experiences with vision boards were more like "writen board", more like a to do list. And, although it kind of worked, after watching this video I'm convinced to do an actual vision board 😂 I'd also like to share that in the beginning of this year, I've watched a video in which you were advising to pick one main goal for this year. I picked two. During summer, I've noticed that I was achieving the number two goal but not the first one. It made me kind of sad and angry at myself, but then I thought to myself "I still have time to do it", and I started immediately working on it l, and now I'm happily starting to notice and enjoy the results, and feeling ready to continue working on both of them. I'm going to make one this year. I know I'm a little late, but I never thought of doing this before. I'm a visual person, so I think this will help me focus on my goals. I'm going to print mine this year and I bought a poster board at the Dollar General this time. Cost me $2.50 for two hexagon shaped boards.
Vision board is not a "word board", therefore images should be the most of the content. Also, the subconscious mind works symbolically and with images with feelings, not words. I have done VBs for many years and much of what is added has come to fruition. great content
This is such a fantastic idea! I've done vision boards in the past, but they were all a little messy since I was cutting images out of magazines. I love the idea of creating a canvas that I can hang above my desk.

My vision boards have typically taken years to manifest, often coming to fruition only after I've put them away and forgotten about them. Hey, I am a big dreamer. This time, I’m trying something different. I visited a Rolls-Royce dealership and had my boyfriend take photos of me opening the door, getting in the car, and driving. I also toured a few open houses in Pacific Palisades, taking pictures of myself sitting on the furniture, doing things in the kitchen, and just soaking in the atmosphere. It was fun and inspiring and a way to bring my dreams to life more vividly. Let’s see where this journey takes me!

I think you're right on point. It was when blockbuster closed concerns for me started to really hit home. I recently bought a hifi system and endevour to rebuy my favourite cds where i can. Im buying some cassette tapes just to record songs off the radio like i did as a kid, just to get back in touch with a past seemingly long gone. This all came after i realized what i had got back after braking my laptop screen and not replacing it for 2 months. Its like that episode of the Simpsons where all the kids step out their homes blinking at the sun and start playing again lol.

I’ve never made a vision board because it never seemed something that would be worthwhile. But your explanation of the RAS and seeing what you want to focus on visually and often changed my mind. I loved your instructions of how to do it on Canva. It was fun and I love the end result. I took a screenshot on my desktop and printed it on an 8x10 on cardstock off my home printer. Then used a frame and mat that I had and hung it in my closet where I’ll see it at least twice a day! I love it! Thanks for the inspiration!

I made a vision board because of you!! I used the free version of Canvas, as you suggested. They had so many templates. Now it's on my personal and work laptop screens! I'm going to make a magazine collage over the weekend and reuse the Amazon box as a backing. Thanks for all the inspo this year. Finding your channel really brought new changes in my life. Jillz this is lovely, thank you! I've been doing vision boards for the past 2 - 3 years and the more I do it the more things come true. I actually make mine on pinterest directly and prefer to intentionally scroll through it before I put my phone away before bed. I like doing it before bed so it's fresh in my subconscious and can "simmer" as I go into sleep state. I like seeing them on my phone screen because then I only see like 3 pics at a time and it's easier to intentionally engage with each pic. I don't "section it off" eg, lifestyle, fitness career etc. I prefer to scatter and am intentional about putting 2 - 3 pics that represent the same goal because as you mentioned, repetition is key. Thanks for sharing your way - learnt some cool new tips that I'll be adding to my process
I have never done a vision board. But with that being said I know you can manifest in life. As an artist I keep a leather Traveler's Journal with me all the time. As I was getting ready to start this years I was unsure how to start. You gave me that intro to my sketchbook/Journal. My vision board will be the first double page. I'll see it all the time and it will always be with me.

Dear Jillz, my previous experiences with vision boards were more like "writen board", more like a to do list. And, although it kind of worked, after watching this video I'm convinced to do an actual vision board 😂 I'd also like to share that in the beginning of this year, I've watched a video in which you were advising to pick one main goal for this year. I picked two. During summer, I've noticed that I was achieving the number two goal but not the first one. It made me kind of sad and angry at myself, but then I thought to myself "I still have time to do it", and I started immediately working on it l, and now I'm happily starting to notice and enjoy the results, and feeling ready to continue working on both of them. I am over 60 and I never made a vision board. Things like Canva totally freaks me out and I ll end up a nervous wreck. I know exactly what I want, I made photos of it. this came to me the perfect time i wanted to really stick out with my plans for the year, thanks girl!!! I saw this video, then and there I made a vision board and went out to print that (i laminated it in local shop) and boom , my vision board is READY. I'm going to make one this year. I know I'm a little late, but I never thought of doing this before. I'm a visual person, so I think this will help me focus on my goals. I'm going to print mine this year and I bought a poster board at the Dollar General this time. Cost me $2.50 for two hexagon shaped boards.
Vision board is not a "word board", therefore images should be the most of the content. Also, the subconscious mind works symbolically and with images with feelings, not words.
I have done VBs for many years and much of what is added has come to fruition. great content
This is such a fantastic idea! I've done vision boards in the past, but they were all a little messy since I was cutting images out of magazines. I love the idea of creating a canvas that I can hang above my desk.

My vision boards have typically taken years to manifest, often coming to fruition only after I've put them away and forgotten about them. Hey, I am a big dreamer. This time, I’m trying something different. I visited a Rolls-Royce dealership and had my boyfriend take photos of me opening the door, getting in the car, and driving. I also toured a few open houses in Pacific Palisades, taking pictures of myself sitting on the furniture, doing things in the kitchen, and just soaking in the atmosphere. It was fun and inspiring and a way to bring my dreams to life more vividly. Let’s see where this journey takes me!

I think you're right on point. It was when blockbuster closed concerns for me started to really hit home. I recently bought a hifi system and endevour to rebuy my favourite cds where i can. Im buying some cassette tapes just to record songs off the radio like i did as a kid, just to get back in touch with a past seemingly long gone. This all came after i realized what i had got back after braking my laptop screen and not replacing it for 2 months. Its like that episode of the Simpsons where all the kids step out their homes blinking at the sun and start playing again lol.

I’ve never made a vision board because it never seemed something that would be worthwhile. But your explanation of the RAS and seeing what you want to focus on visually and often changed my mind. I loved your instructions of how to do it on Canva. It was fun and I love the end result. I took a screenshot on my desktop and printed it on an 8x10 on cardstock off my home printer. Then used a frame and mat that I had and hung it in my closet where I’ll see it at least twice a day! I love it! Thanks for the inspiration!

Dude, "the black protocol of wealth" is easily in the top 3 books I've ever read, and I've read a ton, haha. Most are all abstract, but this one is very straightforward and practical, and it helped me a lot to thrive

Jilz, thank you for the great video and your tips on Canvas! I also heard that some people 'activate' their vision board by adding a more easily achievable desire to it and acting on it right away. For example, going to a nice fancy restaurant. It might be a great practice as well!
