I loved this version of Lex because not once in the entire movie does he show true fear. The fact that he's essentially a scrawny, little man with no physical capabilities and never backs down from anyone, not even Superman, is a telling sign of his character. He's a disturbed young man with a God complex and he thinks so highly of himself that virtually nothing can shake him. Great depiction, in my opinion.
tangoman75 This is true, hell throughout the movie when he cuts his hand to summon doomsday or at the very end where he wimpers when Batman punches right next to him, even in this scene where he nervously laughs yet uses his words to stay on top, truly amazing.
tangoman75 he showed one moment of fear though when Batman said he's gonna go to arkham asylum instead of a loving mental hospital but I love this version of lex nonetheless.
JoeyBoyNation Jesse Eisenberg is a great , interesting actor , Lex Luthor is a fascinating character , it is just that he could be less maniacal and more serious and clever .

This scene is great. Lex was abused by his father as a child and no divine intervention came to same him, so he believed God cannot exist. He wants to prove Superman is a fraud. If Superman dies, then he can't be a god because gods cannot die. If Superman kills a man like Batman then that proves he isn't as good as people believe. Either way Lex wins.

On an aside: He uses the typical flawed logic. "If God is all power, then He can't be all good. If God is all good, then He can't be all powerful". The flawed logic is assuming this temporary life is all there is, then uses that faulty assumption to judge what is "good or evil". If someone has everything anyone could ever ask for in this life, including perfect health, but ends up in heII, that combined lifeline is evil, not "good" that we'd call it. If someone goes through the greatest suffering here, but ends up in eternal life of no more suffering, disease and death, then that combined lifeline is good, not the "evil" we'd call it. Even more-so if God noticed that the suffering contributed to a person's repentance / eternal life, and stopping it would lead to them never repenting and ending up in heII. I encourage people to re-read the gospels, then the rest, and forget what any religion / church / denomination has told you they say - almost no churches are following God / Jesus Christ, just individual ones - far less than 1%. And you'd have to visit it to find out (starting with which denominations are clearly not, while some might be).

Works are how people can tell if a person is realIy saved (living faith) or just kidding themselves by falsely claiming it (dead faith).
The bat across the bay is waiting for the god, and Lex is in the between of them explaining how he manipulated both of them. That cinematography folks.
"If God is all powerful, he cannot be all good. And if he is all good, then he cannot be all powerful, and neither can you be" Yeah his motivation was pretty fucking clear to me
+insanityman84 Hi. Thanks for sharing this. I keep trying to remind myself that Lex is only getting started. He seems to be a very complex thinker even now. It makes me wonder what schemes he'll invent in the future. I am convinced after reviewing everything he did in the ultimate edition that I would never want to be his target. He's scarier than I originally thought.
Man, this movie was a masterpiece when you understand it in depth. What a masterpiece by Snyder. He's the best. This and man of steel were really great.
"No man in the sky intervened when I was a boy to deliver me from my daddy's fists and abominations " - Lex Luther Later on Superman, a man in the sky, literally intervened when Doomsday's, an abomination, fists from punching Lex Little details like that made this movie phenomenal

@@MrDoom885 Lmao, that always seems to be the default response with y'all. Y'all never seem to make a defense for this movie or anything, instead y'all stick to basic comebacks. I understood the movie, problem is that it just wasn't good.
This scene was so epic. One of the best comic book villain dialogues along with The Joker's interrogation, Bane's Blackgate Speech and Green Goblin's speech on the roof with Spider-Man.
For those of you saying he’s too twitchy, have any of you ever been nervous? Like really nervous? Like the kind of nervous and anxiousness that arises when you’re threatening a god? His performance was spot on. But good work directors and writers in training. I’m eagerly awaiting your movies.
Look, the performance was good (not great, but pretty good). The problem is that the way Lex was written is trash. I get the motivations, but they didn't translate that well to screen. If they did, there would be no argument or general confusion. My type of Lex is the one who's calm, cool, and a businessman who looks out for his fellow humans. On the inside, he's an alien-hating Machiavellian psychopath who's always 10 steps ahead.
I thought that his performance as Lex was horrible until he mentioned his father abuse, then you understand that "this" Lex Luthor is more like a fragile unstable kid who uses his inflence his money and his skills to bring down the strongest man on earth. He hates Superman because he can't stand to see such a powerfull man doing his best to save people when the ones who could have saved him from his father didn't do anything.
@@jsaiz187505 that's not the main comic storyline that people know of Lex, Lex hates Superman because he's a super human. Lex loves power and he's jealous of Superman. not because of fucking real estate
Initially, I didn't care for it. But that was because I was so set on a "traditional" portrayal of Lex Luthor. Watching this again recently, and I think Jesse did a fantastic job.
It's so sad to me that so many people don't understand Lex's motivation. Child abuse can really fuck a person up and, while he has clearly lost his mind, he needs a hug
Lex said that his father abused him so much, with his fists. So yes, Lex is afraid and hates anyone who is above everything else, because that reminds him the figure of his father.
Lex does reference his dad a lot (most of the time it's a background conversation while the main focus of the camera is on another character); with that said, I feel like they could've focused it on it more and talked about why he hated him so much.
Exactly, Lex's abuse at the hands of his father is made explicitly clear in this scene. "Daddy's fists and abominations". I don't understand why people missed that. However, I DO agree with some critiques that the movie could've delved into his complex relationship with his father a little more in-depth. But then again...people were already complaining that the movie was "too long", so I don't know if they could've fit this in there along with everything else. I hope we do get to see more of the Luthor backstory explored in future scenes with Lex in this universe. It's a HUGE part of the reason why the Lex of "Smallville" was so successful, because we truly understood the tragedy of his father's abuse and family dysfunction that warped him into who he is.
+Prince Marth: Exactly! It's an evolution of the characters. That's what makes MOS and BvS so special, seeing the characters evolve into their comic book counterparts gradually.

lets name some instances where he could have smiled but only be appropriate since him being mocked, shunned, hated by some people and talked down on by his boss and miss santos (the wife of the guy who got branded and killed in jail) all of which really don't call for a fake ass smile you can clearly see through. I've seen him smile around Lois multiple times (foreshadowing that she is his world) and after he saved that girl from the burning building (which fades after he see's people worshiping him like a god which he never wanted to be. if he did smile then people complaining about him wanting to be worshiped like a god would have rung true but since he doesn't, well there ya go.)
ethan prendergast "Never Smiles". What a joke. A really bad joke. He smiled in MOS to a waitress, when he flew for the first time, when he met up with his mother again, a little during his interrogation, when he was talking to Swanwick about moving forward, when he had a memory of running around as a child, and when he got hired at the Daily Planet. In BVS, he smiled as he got in the tub with Lois, when he introduced himself to Bruce Wayne, when he shook Lex's hand, when he saved that girl in Mexico, when he showed some amusement for Luthor's actions as seen in this clip here, and for Lois just before he flew off to his death. And YOU try being positive when half the world hates you despite doing what you feel is right...
+Deo Robinson Don't get me wrong I don't put it down to the guy's acting, I say it's the scripts fault, that they made the film so sad that he doesn't smile a lot. The fact u could put all the times he smiles in MOVIES in a single paragraph shows that he doesn't smile a lot. Superman isn't meant to be all doom and gloom ALL THE TIME they could of added scenes where he is doing random acts of kindness to show he is trying to prove to people he is on there side and he could of smiled then but no they put him in situations where the only face he can make is depressed, if he meant to represent a god like or jesus like figure he should probably smile more to be more likeable. Cause when he died I wasn't that bothered, when I should be like oh that guy was so kind and didn't deserve to die. I know his personality was kind and loving but u need to be able to express that on the outside as well.
+ethan prendergast Basically, you wanted him to smile as he was performing his heroics. That's not gonna fly, dude. He's not a celebrity posing for the cameras or a magazine. He treats what he is doing seriously. Saving lives isn't a glamour job. And the script isn't to blame. It's continuing his story from MOS. He was told as a child that he'll be a controversial figure in the world and that he'll have to make some tough choices in life; both of which happens in this film. His being a nice guy who saves the day and does the right thing is overshadowed by his status as an alien, a man with great power, and the fact that alot of people dislike him for the events of MOS. Did you really think people were just going to immediately and generally accept him because he saved the world? For this day and age, it doesn't work like that...
On April 26 2016 my dear friend Kurt Stegall (d. 12/23/2016) took me to see B v S. Kurt had already seen it a couple times! Opening night and a few nights later before he also took me a month after it opened. I loved the characters esp. Lex and Wonder Woman! Kurt passed away a little over a year ago. we also saw suicide squad and Dr. Strange together. Kurt liked B v S better than Suicide Squad, he had said. but sad he didn't get to catch Justice League. :(
@@MayankSharma-vz5of Kurt actually took his own life. He suffered from depression but I would have never known it. He was very warm, compassionate, jovial... I could go on about how great a guy he was. I had only gotten to know him very well during the last year of his life so I feel gypped! He loved fantasy/D & D, all the super hero movies, football, baseball, music. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him.
0:31 The theme of the film, power has bias, but it went over everyone's heads. The fans, the critics. Lex is pissed that the being he views as god has priorities. While Superman is willing to intervene in a Civil War (the one Lex orchestrated to make Superman look bad), he didn't intervene when he was physically and sexually abused by his father. Superman's facing the consequences of not being able to save everyone, the consequences of not being omnipotent. So to prove to the world that god has bias, he set up the climatic fight between Superman and Batman. He wanted to prove that Superman was willing to kill Batman to save his mother, who the world views as some random woman. This would embarrass Superman by making him go against his morals, and it will prove he's a threat because who else would he be willing to kill. Who would he be willing to sacrifice in order to save someone he values more? This is the meaning of this film, Superman's depression, Lex's plan, Batman's vengeance all revolve around the fact that Superman can't save everyone. And Superman's alone as no one can understand his dilemma. This movie's a fucking masterpiece.
Agreed, good job. It's just that contrary to popular belief superman is NOT A DEITY!!! yes he has powers but he is NOT omnipotent and it's natural that he can't save everyone. What he is really facing is the infinite greed of man combined with lex's God complex. People demand the impossible from him. Bruce has every right to be suspicious of superman for fairly obvious reasons but they should really give the guy a break. I don't know why everyone thinks that superman is a deity, why because he can fly, has super strength and stamina, has heat vision and cold breath, all of the above maybe? How does that make him Divine? He is simply Powerful and despite his origin he was raised like humans he is taught the way of humans and he is ( in a way) a human with hopes, dreams and feelings. Basically he is just like you and me so imagine the world expecting YOU to save everyone to be perfect and to be there ALWAYS. Now imagine what that feels combined with the hate and ungratefulness of some people. It must be inhumane.....
Honestly like his portrayal of Lex. It’s a modern take on a Titan of industry. Old Lex was a murdoch-esque Titan. This Lex is an antisocial Silicon Valley type.
Now this is the Snyder tone Justice League needed. Hopefully if and when the Snyder Cut is ever releasing we will see it. Edit: Snyder Cut was awesome! It has everything and more!
Because he's Garbage in this movie so he hate superman because what he can do but he created something worst to kill superman wich is doomsday such trash characters Jessie heisenberg you don't even deserved to be call Lex Luthor
What I like of this universe is the fact that when they introduce a comic book character, they make it different from the comics, so we (the comic book readers) could not expect what he is going to do, and they can develop the character in nexts films. I believe that's the reason why they changed Lex's personality (and the he becomes the cold, evil businessman), why they made Batman a cold hopeless hero (and then he becomes the hero that Gotham deserves), and why Superman is so serious and sad (and the he becomes that symbol of hope).
Well thought out. Nobody has given Zack Snyder the chance to develop his universe, they dismissed it before it even began. I love this movie and I can't wait for Justice League to develop these characters into the heroes we grew up with.
RCBM Mines Yeah. Birthright Lex was obsessively hell-bent on destroying not just Superman, but his very legacy; just like this one. But this Lex is also inspired by his early mad scientist depiction in the older comics, hence why he comes off as eccentric and "Joker-like".
”No man in the sky intervened me when i was a boy to deliver me from daddy’s fists and abominations” later on superman saves lex from a fist from doomsday.. ZACK SNYDER ”a mother of a flying demon must be a witch. And what’s the punishment for witches? That’s right. Death by fire!” In man of steel, Lara (mother of Kal-El) dies when krypton blow up and we saw a lot of fire when she died... ZACK SNYDER WITH DETAILS. ”Now the cameras are waiting at your ship for the world to see the holes in the holy!”. That means when superman get a hole in his chest while doomsday get a hole in his body with the spear ”holes in the holy”... ZACK DAMN SNYDER LADIES AND GENTLEMEN
What's so interesting about this scene and something no one here has mentioned...this is Superman. You know the Man of Steel. You know, the person who can wipe anyone off with his finger if he wanted. Yet Lex is not intimidated at all. Only other person that's never feared Superman is Batman. Lex mocks Clark, makes fun of him, and shows him pictures of his mother tortured straight to Clark's face. This is a brilliant scene in general but this makes it more powerful. Just imagine if you were in the situation you'd be ready to kill that guy in an instant but since he's Superman, Lex knows he won't kill him. He's studied him inside out. Lex Luthor never feared Superman. And this shows it. And I really love that about this scene.
While I wasn't overwhelmed by Eisenberg’s performance, he was a tad to manic imho, he has grown on me as time has gone on. I will say that the dialogue was excellent though. Not to mention the beautiful visuals.
I love the fact that lex knows that superman is clark because for a man that is the smartest person in the dc universe. It was always dumb that he didnt know that Clark was superman
I wasn't really sold on Jesse during the first half of the movie and even heard some giggles whenever he appeared but he was really effective during this scene. I was in a packed IMAX theater and for the whole duration of this scene, we were all dead quiet.
I hadn't seen it since 2016, to be honest. I just watched the Extended Cut recently, and while I still have a couple of issues with it, I cannot deny the brilliance behind it. Maybe it's because I didn't care much about it, but studying films in college led me back to this movie, and it has a LOT of amazing details both in plot, discussions, and visuals. Zack Snyder is one HELL of a filmmaker
It was crap when it came out. Even Lex Luthor's conflict was tired old derivative. The money shot came in too late in the movie for anyone to even care, and it lasted for just a few minutes before Supes got himself killed -- the HISHE version was spoof but one wonders what prevented that from happening. I only ever saw the theatrical release though.
"Yes, the almighty comes clean about how dirty he is when it counts." Lex essentially wanted Superman to show the world fully how Superman is not "all good" by having him kill Batman in the same vein how the Christian/Hebrew God flooded the Earth, destroyed cities and caused the 10 plagues of Egypt to save his people. "God is tribal, God takes sides." Killing Batman to save Martha is Superman "taking a side."
Michael I agree with you because I thought the same thing. However, Clock's explanation is also feasible. Though I believe his explanation is not the actual reasoning for Lex's motivation to do what he did in this scene.
You expect all people who watch this movie to be fuming with understanding from a few watches. With smoke coming out of there ears and blood from the nose trying to figure out what's going on. Lmao
I get the motivations, I just don't feel that they're strong enough. Yes, Lex is supposed to HATE Superman, but the reason he does technically doesn't have anything to do with him. If they included scenes of Lex witnessing the Zod fight and destruction of Metropolis, then it would've made more sense.
I loved Jessie eisenberg as Lex. Jessie Eisenberg is probably the smartest of all the casts, suits him well. Don't you dare question Zack's casting choices.
Miller is a dumbass who attacks couples in their own homes and chokes woman on video and affleck was a terrible Batman who doesn’t know shit about comics
The Batman warehouse fight, and Wonder Woman's arrival to fight Doomsday are absolute chill inducing, standing ovation worthy moments and Marvel films have never done for me, what those two scenes do for me.
0:21 through whenever he finished with Kal-El, i don’t know if anyone else noticed this but every time he said a new gods name, the lighting went from soft to louder.. “Horus” (very light boom), Apollo (slightly louder), Jehovah (normal boom) and then “Kal-El” (BOOM). What a nice touch.
Also. What else that I love is that when he say “Clark Joseph Kent” NO lighting goes off. And I literally ache with the thought that I’m witnessing master acting when Lex pretends to touch and comfort Clark 😫 why why why is this movie so good
Bro I love this lex Luthor. I don’t get why people hate him. It’s genius think about it, I like that he acts all nervous and quirky and nice, but he always get what he wants. Senator finch blocked the import license for the kryptonite and he got revenge when he bombed the u.s Capital. And also he’s pure evil and his theme songs cool.
It’s at the moment we really accept that although Superman is all powerful he’s really human. Yes we know we is an alien because he wasn’t earth born but human because he was earth raised. He could’ve broken Lex in a ,Illinois pieces and searched all of Metropolis and Gotham for Martha in minutes but he didn’t let his anger get the better of him. He wanted to save the woman he is his mother. Most ppl would of went off and killed ppl but this is why Superman is the GOAT. He humbled himself and went to seek help from Bruce not kill him even when his mother is in danger. Like yo BvS and JL are great films.
As much as I dislike the overall portrayal of Lex in this movie, I will say this scene was very well done. The way he breaks down his hatred of Superman and how he not for one second seemed not in control of the situation, even when Superman was threatening to laser his head off. That is quintessential Lex.
George Daugherty And he was funny, at the end "Oh, mother of God, would you look at the time", or later in ship, Lex reaction when Batmans answers him back.
3DSDF You know... that's one trait that BOTH Supes and Lex have in common. They don't know how to lose. They're pure determinators of their own fate for better or worse. Superman took that spear because HE HAD to do it and nobobdy else. It was his burden and nobody else's. Even as he faces death, he doesn't think he's going to lose. He's going to win. Lex, no matter how many defeats he faces at the hands of Supes, he'll always come back for more.
George Daugherty And to Lex's mind, he's won. Even his "God is either all-good or all-powerful" was proven right when Batman had Superman at his mercy.
Not when its this kind of dialogue. LAIK ZOMG SUPERMAN IS BASICALLY GAWD? SO IF SUPERMAN IS WEAKENED BY KRYPTONITE, THEREFORE GAWD CANNOT BE ALL POWERFUL, AND THEREFORE ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED
litterally one of Jesse Eseinberg's best performance super underrated villain. The confidence, the smart wit with a sparkle of insanity. Now that's awesome...
I liked Lex because he was different and as much as people complain because they hate change Lex here was a better and more memorable villain than about 90 percent if not all of Marvel's villains. DC is only what 3 movies in? they'll be fine.
Yeah regardless on whether you think he was bad or good, he did still leave an impression and thus will become memorable, regardless if again, it's good or bad.
Lex is most definitely more than a dozen steps ahead, he fooled everyone with his energetic persona... ...even the audience (at the time). And that's the aspect I like most about this take on the character in the big screen, he's aware that Superman has super hearing. That's why he always has this persona, then drops it in front of Batman once Superman's dead
@@vistalover9607 He's basically saying Lex Luthor pulled a Clark Kent switcheroo on Superman. In milder terms, if Lex Luthor dropped his "goofy" aspects from this film, we'd have another Superman Animated Series situation where Superman always thinks Lex is up to no good. By having this "goofy" persona, Superman doesn't think too much of Luthor being a threat.

Yes but he was doing that ALL across the movie. If he did it in only this one scene and when Batman was about to brand him it would have looked Epic.
Look, the performance was good (not great, but pretty good). The problem is that the way Lex was written is trash. I get the motivations, but they didn't translate that well to screen. I don't care what people say but i loved this version of lex....and his acting...
Jesse is the guy indeed!
Initially, I didn't care for it. But that was because I was so set on a "traditional" portrayal of Lex Luthor. Watching this again recently, and I think Jesse did a fantastic job.
I believe one of the producers said he’s just starting off as Lex, he was supposed to obtain his more calm and calculated demeanor in later movies
One word: Birthright
Matthew Rocca Besides this is just Lex getting started as Geoff said he will become the Lex we all know and love.
+Prince Marth: Exactly! It's an evolution of the characters. That's what makes MOS and BvS so special, seeing the characters evolve into their comic book counterparts gradually.

How can anyone hate a hero who has deep, emotional care for his mother?
Probably because he never smiles and always has the 'my dog is dead' face
lets name some instances where he could have smiled but only be appropriate since him being mocked, shunned, hated by some people and talked down on by his boss and miss santos (the wife of the guy who got branded and killed in jail) all of which really don't call for a fake ass smile you can clearly see through.

The theme of the film, power has bias, but it went over everyone's heads.
You understand this movie better than useless critics.
As deep as this movie may have been on paper, it did not translate well on screen. That's where this movie failed.

NO.
That's one of the reasons why I love it as well. Everyone's going through a crucible that will turn them into their better-known, legendary selves.
Well thought out. Nobody has given Zack Snyder the chance to develop his universe, they dismissed it before it even began. I love this movie and I can't wait for Justice League to develop these characters into the heroes we grew up with.
Just like an Elseworlds story. Though this Lex is similar to the once canon Superman Birthright, even if Mark Waid doesn't admit it.
RCBM Mines Yeah. Birthright Lex was obsessively hell-bent on destroying not just Superman, but his very legacy; just like this one. But this Lex is also inspired by his early mad scientist depiction in the older comics, hence why he comes off as eccentric and "Joker-like".

George Daugherty
And to Lex's mind, he's won. Even his "God is either all-good or all-powerful" was proven right when Batman had Superman at his mercy.
One of my favorite moments of the film when Clark losses his shit and his eyes glow red it's phenomenal
Turning lex into what’s basically a more extreme version of Mark Zuckerberg was genius
No it wasn’t this was the worse lex I’ve ever seen
@@Toppshotta4 Yea i can’t disagree on that. I just found the whole idea entertaining lmao
@@Kev24yeah I want a more traditional Lex in the new universe, but now that this universe is over I can appreciate this version
is it bad i know his dialogue by heart?
No
I know Batman's speech by heart, so no.
That's the DC effect
No thats a good thing
Not when its this kind of dialogue.
LAIK ZOMG SUPERMAN IS BASICALLY GAWD? SO IF SUPERMAN IS WEAKENED BY KRYPTONITE, THEREFORE GAWD CANNOT BE ALL POWERFUL, AND THEREFORE ILLUMINATI CONFIRMED
God, I loved this movie so damn much. It really brought out the darker aspect of any superhero movie
1:05 with that bass voice, dude can be a fantastic dark graphic novel storyteller.
The Hero Meets his True Enemy
Yes......Justin Bieber
+Snob Fanfiction Reader Are you making a joke.
Arron Zuvich Can I hug you?
Arron Zuvich And no, just me being very, very, very, very, very stupid
+Snob Fanfiction Reader Nay, it's cool I don't like him either. Heat-vision then freeze breath then chuck up off the building
1:20
Eisenberg to Cavill: YOU LET YOUR FAMILY DIE!
Ledger to Bale: YOU LET 5 PEOLE DIE!
You know, I got allot more respect for this movie after a rewatching or two
litterally one of Jesse Eseinberg's best performance super underrated villain. The confidence, the smart wit with a sparkle of insanity. Now that's awesome...
I actually love this scene and this version of Lex. I think his lines are great
Everything about this movie was major epic and am sure everyone had high hopes for JL......will see i guess with the Zack Cut
I've come from the future the DCEU is in shit
Nyxtroos JL was the sacrifice
@xavier jaramillo I'll be waiting!
xavier jaramillo Well? It’s two months after the release!
2:10 that killing joke reference
Idk, I'm pretty sure he was referring to Brady Bunch, when the little girl says "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia!" in a fit of jealousy.
I think his talking about the pictures let has
@@gamepoy5056 Yeah, it's a reference to the Brady Bunch
This version of Lex is really cool. In a really dark twisted way but its great and I wish we had gotten more of this
When he said “Mother Of God Would You Look At The Time”……It really went over alot of people head🤣…Good One👏🏾
What are you talking about?
@@vistalover9607 He's basically saying Lex Luthor pulled a Clark Kent switcheroo on Superman. In milder terms, if Lex Luthor dropped his "goofy" aspects from this film, we'd have another Superman Animated Series situation where Superman always thinks Lex is up to no good. By having this "goofy" persona, Superman doesn't think too much of Luthor being a threat.
0:16 the cinematography is so good
Lex is such a genus...
and when he said if god is all good he cannot be all powerful do you think he is lying now I think he is
He's supposed to be the most intelligent guy in the DC universe
I tought Riddler is the most inteligent guy in Dc universe
Andrei Radu Not even close mate look it up
Mr Jones ok
"I'll take in without breaking you which is more than you deserve."
Oh mother of krypton, someone is ticked off. Call Darkseid.
alexh4319 Cavill's Superman is the most dark Superman. I like the idea hi's Superman have got mix views in the world. Some has accepted him as their savior some consider him as a threat and some people just want to stop him because he can wipe out the world if he wanted to
To me what's impressive is that this version of Lex managed to find out Superman and Batman's real identities
0:56 Such a perfect Riddler it's upsetting.
This is my favorite Lex Luthor and fuck the bad opinions!!! I like this version!!! Is a Lex Luthor joker! This Lex Luthor is dangerous, sadistic, brutal and looks like a good guy! Is an angel-like demon! It's a spoiled but extremely dangerous kid !!! Is a pathetic guy, but very dangerous!!!
Cenas e coisas aleatórias the only competent and successful
Cenas e coisas aletorias agreed, Eisenberg is the best Lex
The lightning sure likes to be timed well
No one understands the brilliance of Zack Snyder.......😔
No one understands why Zach Snyder cast Jessie fucking Eisenberg as Lex Luthor. That might be the worst casting decision since John Wayne as Genghis Khan.
@@Elthenar stfu
@@fupalover He's right though. Even Eisenberg himself has stated in interviews that he didn't think he was fitting for the role. Terrible casting.
@@Elthenar Zack is the god of casting. His Justice League casting is perfect. He was obviously rooting for a younger Lex that has already been seen in the comics. Quit bitching.
@@odiadordeisrael How about fuck you. I'll continue to have opinions, since I live in America.
It's been several years and I still struggle to think of someone so badly miscast. Topher Grace as Venom maybe.
man, i love jesse eissenberg performance in bvs
Can't love enough this movie dialogues and how beautifully Jessi deliveres them
Jesse eisenberg didn’t give off the same lex Luther you see in the comics, he kinda did his own version of lex but regardless it’s still a great!! Better even if I dare say
This version of Lex is based of a Superman comic called "Brithright" I think was the name
If only how he does things made sense.
"İf God is all-powerful, he cannot be all good." And "Son of a Kripton vs Bat of Gotham" 😍😍😍😍😍
Clark screaming "where is she!?" to Luthor was like Bruce screaming "where are they!?" to Joker in The Dark Knight. Awesome!
"WHERE IS SHE?
I DON'T KNOW"
He's at 3546 N. Elston, and She's at 5729 E. Oak....
P sherman 42 wallaby way Sydney
+Kidpool “Lil' Deadpool” Pool Omg.... too funny!!!!
+Gear of “crazy dave” Arkham Hahaha... almost choked on cookie when I read this. Good one!!
Its funny you say that, coulda sworn Christian Bale jumped outta Henry there for a split second
ZACK SNYDER IS TRULY GENIUS NOT ONLY IN CINEMATOGRAPHY BUT ALSO IN DIRECTING WHOLE MOVIE GAVE ME GOOSEBUMBS
"Every boy's special lady is his mother " 💓💓🔥🔥
Say what you will about the movie, Jesse's performance was flawless.
