- Insta360 Ace Pro is the latest offering from Insta360 which comes with few handy features including a large 1/1.3" sensor, a flip screen and magnetic mount. The low light performance is amazing as you will see in the video.
Singapore is a country known for its climbs and plentiful switchbacks. The pros have their off-season, we call that our festive season. In this episode, we decided to do something fun and show you guys five of the steepest climbs in Singapore. If you guys know of any climbs in Singapore steeper than this, please let us know in the comments and maybe we can include it in another video. Moving forward I plan to make more of such lighthearted videos and hope you guys will enjoy it.

We live at The Interlace condo for almost 6 years and riding my bike at Mt. Faber, it’s a beautiful park to go hike and run.
I had a bad unlucky crash after my climb at Jalan Dermawan. Now it make sense when u said it is haunted @9:30

NTU has pretty nice hills but not sure of the gradient, could just be that I was climbing with a heavy steel bike...
Try Windsor Park Road, Jalan Kampong Chantek, Fifth Ave, Jurong Hill and the road up SLF building along Thomson Road...lol
SLF building is quite steep, would say slightly steeper than Sesuai
@danazo7336 yes.... it is.. opposite of it.. Olive Road too is a good slope...you will see... OMG up there...
switchbacks? 😂 there's one at Pasir Panjang Hill, not as steep, did it on my single speed Brompton
those metrics look better than GoPro"s and a good alternative than Garmin's old Virb Edit software

So which action video camera would you recommend at the end? Insta360 or GoPro Hero?
Depends. The new GoPro doesn’t have any gps hardware so getting overlays would be more difficult. He has the old GoPro like me so it has the gps so overlays are not an issue. I like this new addition of “stats” (overlays) in the insta360 app because the overlays even works with my old Go2 cam with Apple Watch.
A lot of people at the beginning complained about the built in front lens. GoPro made that mistake one year and then returned back to the replaceable lens. Hence why insta is offering that replace program which wasn’t there at the beginning. I have never broken my GoPro front lens but it’s nice that i know it’s replaceable because it’s an action cam. There would probably be on on version 2.
The AI feature is more of a software in the cloud feature. I heard it will be a paying feature in the future so it’s free only now. But you’ll probably get bored of it before that.
Actually i was surprised how bad the footage was on the sentosa. Seems a bit of shaking in the shade “low light” . Anyway it should be much better at night compared to the GoPro, so if you shoot mainly at night then it’s a clear winner. Ive seen daytime comparison of GoPro vs ace pro and GoPro has better stabilization. It’s a better action cam. But then you can argue people multi use action cams for different situations.
Which brings up vlog. After all the shill reviews, you finally get some real reviews who realize the ace pro by its hardware cannot focus within 6ft. It’s just its limitation. So then if you were to self vlog which I’m sure they promoted especially with the flip screen, you would find yourself out of focus with the background in focus😅. Unless you use a very long selfie stick.

I purchased Insta360 first model, I was very disappointed, battery life, absolutely tine screen, and overhating card. Also ide to transfer all previous files, and Hi-Res files via your mobile phone is not practical one. It's a pain. With huge file size of HD, 4K, and 6K movie files it makes no sense. Honestly I used 2-3 times and in my storage room. I just use my phone much faster and better than Insta360. I see improvement on design od Pro version, but I will not waste my money on experiments anymore.
