In this video coaching newsletter I discuss an email from a viewer who has been studying my work for about 8 months. He started hooking up with a girl from work for several weeks, then she started backing away. She told him she does this when she gets too close to a new guy. He feels like he did everything right, but hasn’t heard from her for 4 days now. He asks what it means and what he should do.

I think I have read your book like 6 times so far and I want to add to this analogy about dogs and cats: we as men need to be like dogs and be so preoccupied with chewing our toys/bones(your purpose) that we don’t even notice that the cat went away and watch the curious cat come creeping up to bother us! From experience I'm seeing that ego is one of man's worst enemies. Ego is impatient because it's time on Earth is limited. Spirit is patient because it's time is unlimited. I know Corey has studied Eastern philosophy but hasn't really amplified this a lot but I have found that Spirituality helps the individual understand relationships on a higher level every time.

@@HaganeHiryu all negative behaviors can be attributed to fear of loss. Those fears help stimulate the analytical mind which by all definitions is simply another name for the egoic mind state. If you think that ego is only to deal with arrogance sadly it's not. An inflated ego takes many forms in a distorted mind these are defense mechanisms as seen by the host as necessary for its survival.

As a woman, it's really nice to feel like I want to initiate certain things with men, such as phone calls. Advice which tells women to never initiate is how we attract needy guys who blindly chase us instead of wanting to discern our character. Men who want to show you that they want something serious with you are aware that they need to practice self restraint.

They come back sometimes when you stop pursuing when the lose interest. I made the mistake when I was younger when I would pursue more because I was scared I was gonna lose the girl when in reality u do less. That’s when the no contact rule comes in to play
This works best with people you truly were yourself with. Being a "cold fish" or overly cold and distant no one really loses anything from letting you go. Obviously mirror her actions but when you do speak to her be fully yourself and expressive! Be smooth but be you.

I've been a cherry picker off and on for the past few years. I finally got around to picking up 3 percent man and am in the process of going through it. I am seeing myself in so many of the mistakes detailed in the book its crazy.
It's a good book, think I've read about 6xs. If you're looking for monogamy then it's good to keep reading, even after 10 times we will still make mistakes so it's good to work on abundance mindset

I'd like to add my 2 cents. From experience I've found that I'd a girl dumps past trauma on you early on it can also mean she is potentially a professional victim.
I've dated a couple of girls who have done this in the past and they have used this trauma as a way to excuse shitty behaviour or as a way to get special treatment.
Not all women obviously but for me personally if a girl does this too openly/too soon it's a red flag.

Eh..... in this case it's not that much drama. This ain't that hard. Corey's right, just chill and she'll be back in a few days. Especially with coworkers you can't overpursue. He doesn't make that hour-long call and this never even happens. This girl is probably normal. Corey's right about that too.

Im learning that simply put...be mysterious, difficult and confident. You will then get noticed. But you still have to make the moves.
I finally identified and fixed a serious projection problem I had coming out of relationships. It only took me 3 times to finally get it right and set the proper boundaries I need in my life. To be honest, it’s because I just finished my 10th read of the book after thinking I had it down following the 3rd read. I want to say thanks Coach, you’ve changed my life and I’ll never be the pathetic guy I was when I was younger.
This is typical behaviour of a fearful avoidant. They come off strong with frequent contact and intense intimacy, so they set you up to reciprocate, then as soon as you do so, they freak out and feel as if you have made her feel suffocated, UNBELIEVABLE!
I believe there was nothing he could have said or done to stop her from withdrawing. The only solution is letting her go and go into no contact. Then it's up to her to have the courage to have the inner battle to face her fears of intimacy and engulfment and overcome them. If and when she does, then she'll come back, if she hasn't got the courage to do so then she won't come back. According to attachment theory experts, the process could take months because they suppress their emotions for at least four weeks before they start feeling their emotions for you again. My fearful avoident cat has been gone for close to two months, she hasn't crawled back, jumped on my lap and purred yet! 😏

I disagree that the guy caused his girl to withdraw due to him contacting her when he didn't hear from her in three days, rather it was due to her fear of intimacy due to being raped as a teenager.
People should be dealt with according to their attachment style, in this case she's a fearful avoidant

I don't understand these women. If I like a man I don't need drastic change where suddenly I need my "space". Usually I want more interaction than the man does lol.
Before I was an avid follower to Corey, about 5 years ago a woman I was dating literally told me that she tends to back away and that eventually she comes back. But I made too many mistakes and eventually chased her out of my life. I’m glad I found the coaches work. I’m dating an older woman now and things are good but she’s acting distant and less interested than before and backing away a little. I’m more prepared now to handle it better.

Weirdly on point to what is exactly happening right now to me. This girl goes hot and cold out of nowhere. Last night I came over and she barely showed any affection to me, didn't want to hook up, and sent me home after we have been dating for months. I literally asked someone else out in the car when I left and I won't text her till she texts me first.

@@NoDramaAllowed So much has happened. She canceled our Friday date on that night when I posted this so she can hang out with a friend. We then we met up late at a bar on Saturday night with some friends since we have mutual friends and she blew me off at the bar and texted to just be friends after she left. I ignored her text for a week, then she sent another long text explaining herself. We will meet up again, but I think it's over.
All good, I just went on 2 dates with new women this weekend and they went really well. I actually met one the night she broke up with me, that one is showing high interest too.
On to the next one, I don't need any drama in my life.

You make it sound like she's the culprit, but I guarantee you made mistakes that pushed her away. That's how it always it. Girls don't break up with guys who do everything right, it just doesn't happen. They actually fall in love harder and harder. The hot/cold is normal for women, just as this video states. That's how women are. They can be super affectionate, horny, turned on one day, and completely non-affectionate the next. 99.99% of men get butthurt and that turns the woman off. You can't let it affect you or you lose the girl. And as the book says, mutual dates are a big no no until you're in an exclusive relationship. So she cancels friday, then you agree to meet up sat with mutual friends. That was a mistake. But I don't think it's over, I'm being overly critical. She'll be back, like you said you're meeting up again. Make sure she's coming to YOUR place as Corey talks about in his "ex back" videos and articles. Anything else is a fail. She has to come to your place 3 TIMES before you start going out on dates to her place or restaurants. If you look back, I'm sure you'll find plenty of small, subtle mistakes you made. Learn from them, and you'll have her eating out of your palm when she comes back

Yeah I made that mistake too!! I asked if she wanted space, after two weeks I got dumped!! She was persistent in being friends but I respectfully declined the offer .. because of this move I lost my GF.. no contact rule just started. Live and learn!! Stay strong fellas!

We just broke up two weeks ago.. so I said screw it .. funny thing about that is that, that same weekend an ex who I dated prior from her reached out lol. We recently added each other back on IG and planning to see each other this coming Sunday.. I was told once one door closes so another can open. I didn't got my recent ex back back but I might get my old ex back 🤷

I’m going through the same crap.. except I live in a 2 bed room apartment.. she told she needed space and time alone.. recently and didn’t want to be in relationship because she needed to work on herself and feels her life is stagnant among others personal issues she’s tried to and trying to correct in her life. It’s hurtful cause I am still living in the same apartment while giving her the space and time .. I don’t call nor text her at all during the day I’m respecting her decision. Being in this situation sucks but I must focus on me just like she wants to focus on her and it’s easier said than done cause I love and care for her but it is what it is. Good luck to all gentlemen going through this.

Update: I did the no contact and it help me realize a lot of mistakes I made and she made as well. Anywho, she would text and call me to see how I was and where I was at which astonished me knowing that she wanted her space and time alone. Well we’ve worked things out on a mutual level I am not in a relationship with her but we do see each other every now and then.. but we are working on ourselves and improving on us at the moment which is the best thing that has happened to both to us.
I really needed to see that as the girl I am currently seeing just backed off after intense two months. Thanks for the reassurance that it is best to just do nothing and wait. Appreciated, Sir!

Not chase is always the answer. once a week I send my girl a nice good morning text or something along those lines(she asked me to initiate more) but other than that between 9am and 1pm like clockwork I get either a text or a phone call. Feels good.
I was doing something similar with a girl. She would leave me on read and I simply wouldn't even chase her. Specially if they are young, young girls are used to have a lot of beta males chasing them and giving them validation.

Props to the men following CW. I’ve come across guys that need to hear CW’s message. Maybe I’ll start quoting him while I’m out on an awful date. One guy did nothing but force. Pleaded with me to come sit on his side of the booth, over-touching so it was uncomfortable, too many complements that rang false. Kept trying to lock down a day of the week for the next meet up. “If not Thursday then how about Friday?” Too many texts and voicemails. He was trying to grab and force and I literally felt like that cat squirming and wanting nothing to do with you. If his behavior had not been so pushy, he would have gotten a lot farther.

Married 20 plus years I make six figures work out have purpose and I’m above average looking so to a good personality - my wife had affair and I even tried saving my marriage too- beat I see it mid life crisis low self esteem and a slimeball manipulation.. so on my case I have to work out more and hope for the best but I’m not looking forward to saying anyone o miss my wife
